Classical Academy Middle School (7-8)

I went to this school and I loved it. Super effective learning for both the M-track and Summit methods. Teachers cared deeply about my academic success and I flourished in this environment. Highly recommended good school i like this school.

Classical Academy as an umbrella charter is fine, but THIS middle school location is not okay at all. We had been with the middle school charter's parent charter for several years when we made the switch. We came to CAMS only for the new program (Summit) which seemed - on paper - to be a really great thing. Sadly, CAMS implementation of that program was pathetic. In that program is a learning curve - in which the students are graded on learning the platform. My child was really struggling with all the disconnected steps of learning that platform. The school was also supposed to be having weekly one-on-one meetings with each student but they were not. I was in that office every week pushing and pleading for help for me and for him. The help was well, NOT helpful and we were met with a lot of resistance. When it came time to either pass or not, we left and went back to regular full time homeschool at home, no silly platforms and no teachers without integrity involved, and we went back to the main umbrella charter for the remainder of the year. Now we're doing something else, and it's working well. SKIP CAMS. Nobody has your kids' interest at heart as much as you do.
