United Methodist Church Park & Ride

I am considerably ashamed at how people will drive to our church on the hill and with out any regard throw their trash out as though their not at a church but rather at a dumping site.
I make it up there periodically from time to time just to enjoy the peacefulness of the property as well as picking up (by hand) every single piece of trash.
Why can't we as a collective do what is morally right and just by taking care of mother nature.
I'll find myself walking on El Camino real and constantly stop to bend over and pick trash up that others throw out their windows. It's hard for me because I have a shattered left kneecap and my right kneecap is still mending after it being shattered in five pieces.
If I can bare the pain and take the time to pick trash up why aren't the rest of us doing so? Co.e on now people, we live in a eco system that at times craves our help and this is a worthy and beneficial cause that our relatives friends and new home owners can appreciate.
It only takes a second to place it on the floor of your car then when you reach a gas station or your home just take it out and throw it away.
Please be mindfully that we aren't the only ones living here.
