Abalone's restaurant is a good place to eat. If you feel like you want more more food, go to Evelyn's restaurant. Because they overstack their food. And if you not get child's menu, it's more like you'll get an adult's menu. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. The service is wonderful, but only thing is that they're always pack and try to find Tables.
But I recommend to eat at Avalon restaurants..

Wow! It’s rare that you can find a spot such as Avalon, being my first time here I was hesitant. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover rings true here.
Having a simple menu that don’t have you stress trying to figure out what to get (being an indecisive person this awesome), the fast service made the visit even more great. My parents usually don’t like eating out in Gallup due to vendors coming every minute as your mouth has food in your mouth, Avalon’s no vendor policy allowed for a more private and eased meal.

One of the Best Kept Secrets in Gallup! The place has been around FOREVER! If you're one of those groups, family or couples that play the, Where Do You Want To Eat Game, just go here! There's something for Everyone! I recommend the Chinese Section on the menu.....GOOD STUFF!!

Been eating here when I was a kid and the food has always been great. Recently came by a week ago and service was super fast. Friendly people everytime I come by. Always treated very well.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Gallup. Authentic cuisine, prices are comparable to the serving size you get. The staff is courteous and friendly, excellent with refills. Food took a little more time than expected but it was busy and they have a large menu not just Chinese food. I would recommend the Chinese dishes, haven't tried any others. You seat yourself and they do have Coke Products.

Locally Fast, Fantastic & Great service didn't have to wait too long for my order when ordering curb side 😁 I recommend this place for a variety of different foods 😋 5⭐ 🤩

AMAZING!!!!! We were a little skeptical at first but left very satisfied. Food did not take long to come out and HUGE PORTIONS. The food was cooked perfectly,crispy outside tender inside and flavors were great! Didn't even need salt and pepper. The waitress was very nice and always checked on us.

I'm 21 years of age and this place is good and it's been here ever since my parents were young. Overall I love this place great place good atmosphere awesome service and excellent food. I still remember this place being by California Market (Shop-N-Save) ugghh memories man.

Very nice atmosphere. Food is Great. Portion size used to be even bigger than before. Now you get about 25% less than previously. Probably due to customers wasting their food. So now they jacked up their prices and cut back on the portion sizes. Otherwise everything on the menu is superb. If you stop in be sure to try their Beef Chop Suey which looks more like Phở soup. Tastes like it too. Oh.. make sure you ask for Tosh the waitress also. She is super and will make you feel right at home.

I spent my childhood raised with primarily Chinese children. The cooks at Avalon remind me of when I was a child. Authentic and real! It only occupies one page on the menu but it is beyond compare the BEST CHINESE FOOD N GALLUP! The portions are sized so the whole family can join the feast. O!! My problem with the other places is the rice is never fully cooked. Avalon serves fully cooked CHINESE rice and it holds the heat for at least an hour. Nothing like hot food to warm your belly. The menu is about 5 pages but I'm stuck on the Chinese...go c for yourself. If Chinese is great; what must the rest of the menu b?? No less than GREAT!!!

Always a solid choice when it comes time to eat. I always order the chicken chow mein. But the chicken dinner is the biggest in town. Great place to bring kids. But not good for trailer drivers, parking is a tight squeeze.

The portions were huge and the food was delicious! We stuck to American food today.

Great service and great food (especially the chicken chow mein) every time we go in. Due to Covid-19 they do carry out and deliver to your vehicle.

First time there and I liked it, I had shrimp chowmein, and it was great. The hostesses are nice and welcomed me with a smile 😊

This place is the Bomb to have turkey fried rice n egg rolls.just delicious.! For Real.I recommend you Stop in give it a try.

Really like the great food.. Just the right amount of hot chili sauce... Excellent...
