The owner and the staff were all so so nice. The food was delicious, including options for the kids and we were able to sit outside with our dog.

Was a fun place but super crowded. If you are planning on dining in plan on waiting in line out the door. However, it is aways a great experience every time. Love looking at Native Artists that stop by to show their work to sell.

As soon as I walked in to Anthony’s I knew I was in the right place. I’m not from Gallup, but the restaurant was *full* of mamaws and papaws just chilling and eating lunch and chatting.

My to-go order (I did not call ahead) took about fifteen minutes which was extremely reasonable as busy as they were. The torta and fries was deliiiiiish. I wish I could have eaten that sandwich twice.

Everyone who interacted with me was genuinely helpful and friendly without being overbearing. Really hoping to be able to come back in the future!

Really good food and service. The soppipillas were amazing. Our waitress recommended we try both the ones with honey and the ones that came stuffed with beef, rice, and beans. Best decision ever, because it was perfect.

Really solid service and this restaurant is seriously dedicated to customer health by appropriately social distancing. Also saw employees cleaning each table thoroughly, so huge props on ensuing we all stay safe during the pandemic :)

I'm looking forward towards visiting again, and I hope you consider stopping here as well.

I came here last summer and described them as average. I decided to give this place another try. During my last visit, I had three tacos. For this visit, I had the chicken burrito. It was not as crowded this time, so I did not have to sit outside, which really allowed me to see the dishes the other patrons ate and take in the aroma of the place. My server brought me the usual chips and salsa, and I ordered the chicken burrito with the green chili sauce. The burrito was delicious, and the green chili added some delicious kick to every bite. Anthony's is definitely not an "average" restaurant, and I'd eat here again.

Relleno (2nd photo) NavajoTaco (3rd photo) were both very good! Watch out for the Green Chile Salsa because it is Hot (but delicious). The place was full and most were local families. The manager and our waitress were very nice. Check it out and enjoy a good meal and the price, including 2 beers, was just under $30. Hard to believe!

We stopped in at Anthony's A Taste of The Southwest Restaurant. I ordered B.L.T with side of vegtable beef soup with water & 🍋. The meal was good but,it didn't have very much 🍅 slices so,our waitress got more tomatoes slices.than it was great.waitress Mabeline was polite, nice. I'll definitely return to try out what other meals they have 😏.

The food was beyond my expectation, I can say that for sure. If you haven’t tried Anthony’s , you are missing out! I love the stuffed sopailla with light green chile only because the chile is hot.

Friendly staff. Food is delicious. Loved the green sauce, but the red was also good. The salsa was fresh and good. I ordered the stuffed sopapilla with shredded beef. The beef was not necessary. My wife ordered steak and enchiladas with green sauce. The combined steak/enchilada perfect bite was a joy to savor.

We had the stuffed sopapilla. Red & green chile, smothered in cheese and the chile sauce. It's was awesome!! 🙂😋Spicy Medium hot. Service wise, the hostess was on her game. She sat us down promptly. Then cleaned off a spot on the table that was missed. It wasn't her job, but she acted. That's good service. 👍 The waitress was surprised to find her table clean. 🤭 Next time, I'm trying the Matador!

This restaurant is fantastic! greeted the moment we walked in and seated almost immediately, our servers were attentive and friendly. the chips and salsa were delicious, and drinks were the perfect size. we ordered the steak and enchiladas, which where AMAZING! perfectly cooked, tender sirloin steak, and the enchilada red sauce had a hint of spiciness 🤩 beans, rice, and tortilla were excellent, too, as was our quesadilla appetizer. we're coming back tomorrow morning for brunch before we head back to Arizona, and we'll definitely be back on any future road trips.

I have been coming here for some times now, and always getting one thing from Anthony’s menu. Chicken burrito. I gotta say that this place makes the best chicken burritos! It never disappoints when I see friendly faces here. Despite the wait for the foods arrival! I get to see family’s here having a wonderful time! Laughing, smiling, and enjoying delicious food😌. This place is truly a taste of the Southwest indeed.

We ordered the Stuffed Sopapilla with Shredded Beef. We got Chrismas style (red and green chili), cheese, lettuce, tomato & guac. This also had chips/salsa and rice. The rice was hella good and the sopapilla was super super good. The green chili was better than the red chili.

Nothing bad to say. I had the sopapilla with red and green chile, my man had the Mexican taco with red and green chile. Everything was great! Beers were cheap, guacamole was excellent. Service was prompt, friendly and on point.

Nice little Southwestern place in a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Servers were super nice and friendly. Stuffed sopapilla was amazing and very filling. Red chile had a good spice. I didn't even need to ask for additional hot sauce.
