Cocina De Dominguez

The food was very good, was not noisy & very calm. The servers had very good communication, helping each other and lots of smiles. The beer was very cold with cold glass, over all I enjoyed this place and we shell return.

Best food I've had in Gallup so far as im only here for 3 months. I'm the type that will keep trying new places until I find my spot. So far this one has a leg up. Steak was very good, red chile sauce on the enchiladas was very good as well. Server was excellent and I regret not asking her name so that I could say "hey, ask for this person".

I really like this place. The decor is cool, the servers are nice and friendly and the food is delicious. I went there for lunch and had a very good meal. First, I had a cup of pozole, and then I had the Carne avodovada plate, which was fantastic.

A true "New Mexican" Food delight. We definitely went off of I-40 to come to Gallup to eat at this place. Those that want "Tex-Mex" are not going to understand the differences, so ignore those reviews. The Stuffed Sopapilla and Chili Relleno were excellent family recipes, the green chili on top had just the right kick to it and the Sopapillas were exquisite with just the right crunch and thickness (not too thick) one longs for.

One of the best New Mexican restaurants in Gallup. The stuffed sopapilla is one of the best I've had, and the relennos are tasty. The service is friendly. If you want authentic food in unassuming strip mall digs, I highly recommend this place.

Food and service were both great. I had the stuffed sopapilla and my wife had the fish tacos. Great atmosphere for a quiet dinner.

Our group of six showed up at 12:30pm on a Wednesday to a full dining room. Shockingly we were seated within ten minutes. Drinks and chips came out very quick, and the staff was great at keeping our drinks full.

I ordered the chimichanga, as I tend to do at any Mexican food place, and I was not disappointed. On the universal scale of chimichanga deliciousness, I’d rank it a solid 10 out of 13 total points. The green chili on top was phenomenal, and the tortilla was crispy and fluffy from first bite to last. And the Mexican rice was absolutely perfect. Bravo família de Dominguez. Bravo.

Wow. Though the outside might seem boring, the inside was spectacular. If you go there, you have to try their sopapillas, and they go great with honey. The food was delicious, server was very kind, and atmosphere was better than anything else I have seen. 11/10.

We are traveling across country and arrived here around 7:30 in the evening
The floor was closed for a private party which was fine as we planned on eating in our car because we had our 4 dogs with us
The staff there are amazing! Smiles all around and very pleasant to chat with
The food was prepared quickly and was delicious!
We even got to join in on singing happy birthday 🎂

This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember. The food here is always on point. Best butterfly shrimp in town! Make sure to ask for Julie to be your server.

Food was delicious. Friendly staff. I had the 8oz sirloin and cheese enchiladas witth rice and beans. Good salsa with a kick.

Service was great an the food was amazing. Beer was nice an cold an served with a chilled glass. Atmosphere was more then welcoming.

We were traveling through the country and found this place. The service was outstanding and that was the best carne asada I've ever had. Definitely loved it. Stop here if you can.

We have been here a couple of times and love the combo plates, the wait staff was very delightful and friendly, the service was great, the food is always the best, we will be back to any of their great restaurants, never disappointed with them.

We stopped here after driving for hours. They are training new staff but they still went above and beyond in customer service. The food was delicious, they checked on us often, and the place was very clean. Some of the best food we have had while out here. Thank you!
