I really enjoyed my menudo here. It was so yummy I drank all the broth.

This is Mexican food, NOT New Mexican As spicy as you want it, fresh salsa, lots of chips! I always pick a booth and enjoy eating here.

They have stepped up!! Better, more friendly hours and the food was GREAT! One small draw back which I have to blame on my OCD; nothing came of it and it's my personal issue. The service was good, the server listened and responded appropriately to my questions about the menu. I left happy will go back for more. Really appreciate the extended hours.

Honestly, the best Shrimp Fajitas I have ever tried. Perfect Seasoning. Perfect Taste. Hot Food. The service never ceases to amaze me, always so welcoming and friendly. Nice to feel like family there. They keep our beverages full, quick meals. Love it!!! A TOP PICK IN GALLUP I SAY!! Great Job owners and servers. Love this Restaurant!!!!! and they deliver! The freshest beef enchiladas in town. You can taste how fresh the meat was cooked.

The first time we ate here the food and experience was great. All the food came out at once and server was on top of everything. I work in a food industry and my guess was the cook was new, I was right bc I asked. Regardless of my experience the second time I'm sure the cook will catch on. I still recommend, best Mexican food in Gallup.

The food was great and the server was very considerate to our needs, knowing that we were having a breakfast meeting. We will be by again soon

Birria tacos are the best in town! The rice too. My husband likes their posole. Good place to have some authentic Mexican food.

The BEST MEXICAN FOOD in Gallup period. Need I say more ??? Ok.. I recommend the Steak Fajita Burrito with green chili. FANTASTIC BOOMBASTIC 😋. The Menudo is Superb as well. The chips & salsa is always Fresh. Unlike the other mexican restaurants in G town who's chips are stale and hard. Cough*Cough*.. Especially Earl's da squirels restaurant. Chips had mold on it there and all the manager ever did was tell me mold is good for me and they make penicillin out of it. No way José. Not if you're allergic to it. So this is the only Mexican restaurant in Gallup that I recommend with my Good name. Besides Jerry's but that's a whole different topic for another day. So if you're passing thru Gallup or a regular like me...stop @ La Carreta and I promise you. You won't be disappointed. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Best birria tacos in Gallup. Rice and beans were good too. Definitely, will be going back for more tacos soon

The birria pizza 💣.com! The menudo is hit hit also. Legit dishes all around. I find my self regularly grabbing a bfast burro from here which is almost always satisfying.

My husband and I frequent this resurant at least twice a week . We enjoy the food and the service. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and relatives when visiting Gallup.

I left my purse on the chair in the restaurant. The food was good and the people who served us were nice. If they find my purse I hope they return it to me.Please.
