Tacos was good, tasted awesome and was quick. Got the order within 10 minutes or less. small bar are, though had to sit at a table since there was no bar space. Wish the server was a bit more happier though was kinda like just doing her job but was ok at leasted checked on me about the food.

Food is actually not bad at all but you can definitely get way better in Gallup. The thing you cannot get is the history and atmosphere. Another thing your hard pressed to get in Gallup sadly is good service. They have both of these in spades. When I have visitors coming I always take them here for dinner or sometimes just a few drinks. Felix took over the bar several years ago then I moved out of town. I just started working back in Gallup and bringing folks back into town and it was pretty incredible to see what he's done and how his influence has changed the place. I have to say, just the overall atmosphere seems much cleaner and overall inviting. I would, (and now do) take a CEO or group of executives to hang out in the evening. Before he took over I personally enjoyed going but I wouldn't have taken those types of folks as it was admittedly a little rough. Great job all around and as it has always been, a wonderful place with an amazing story.

Nice to enjoy the hotel lobby before grabbing a drink. Good beers on tap. Reasonable prices. Food looked good.

Need a drink after a long drive? This is the place to go. Bartender is quick to make good drinks and the atmosphere is relaxing

It is the day after Christmas and nothing much is open. By chance we ended up here and were happily surprised. Historic venue, excellent service, and the food was far better than the ratings suggested it would be. This is a must stop if you are passing through Gallup, New Mexico!

Great staff and security...I enjoy the patio...inside a bit busy for me. My only regular hangout.

First time in Gallup on our way to Phoenix for spring Break. This place is in a Historic Hotel The El Rancho Hotel. The Bar has a Old West Charm and lived the round Lounge Boothe. Blanche was a Excellent Server and was very friendly and efficient. The Margarita and Old Fashioned was great!

Great place for drinks! Local chill spot to hangout throughout the week. Highly recommended for travelers

As a committee member for our 45th Gallup High School reunion we had a wonderful time at the El Rancho. A wonderful staff that couldn't do enough to make our reunion memorable! Thank you El Rancho!

Great beer, awesome waitress, attentative and caring. Awesome food. Come early before the crowds is highly recommended!
