H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark

The most amazing and only water park in Alaska (please correct me if I am wrong)

At first glance, it sort of feels like this business is stingy. The prices are high, there's no longer a home school discount, more than half the attractions are closed down at any given moment....

The truth is I am not sure how this business has survived so long. I remember a few years back (maybe 2015 to 2018), this place was gross and rusty. Now it's still a bit aged but someone has put a lot of love into bringing life and a feel of luxury to this water park.

How do they afford all the costs associated with running this business on the small amount that they charge?

This to the owner / manager if you reach out to me, I will introduce you to people I know who can give you grants to keep your business running, maybe to hire and train at risk teens, maybe to have school programs especially for low income students on water safety and even environmental protection.

Weekday visits to spoil the kids just before school starts. And oh, my gosh, they fell in love.

What a thrilling place for kids and families! Snack bar is a little pricy but it has attractive decor and a variety of water features and thrills. Warm and humid just like Orlando but it does not smell of chlorine like public pools all seem to. This is a great place!

Visiting from central New York, and I have to admit, I'm glad we came to H2Oasis Waterpark!! The kids loved it and had a great time!! Even my wife loved it!! We didn't expect to find waterslides of any kind in Anchorage, so this was a real treat! I love Anchorage, as it's a nice place to visit, or live year round! The next time we're back in Anchorage, we'll be sure to visit the H2Oasis Waterpark, without a doubt!! Nice friendly staff members made our visit even better!! Thanks H2Oasis!!! See you soon!

There’s a lot of bad reviews. I would honestly tell you to ignore them and go form your own opinion as we did. I went with my friend and we honestly had a blast. There is so much to do and not a lot of people. You don’t have to wait long in line for the slides. Unfortunately the wave pool was not working today but you could still swim in it. The lighting is dim and it looks old, but if you can get past that it is really a fun place to be. We will definitely be coming back. Don’t listen to the nasty comments and just go.

I had lots of fun, so much nostalgia I have from coming here when I was a kid when it first opened thank you!!

i don’t understand all the bad reviews. everything was working; hot tub, all the slides, and the lazy river. i went there today at 5:30pm with my friend, my brother, and his friend. since we showed up so late, the manager came up and gave us all 1 free ticket to come again next time when we chose to. he wanted us to enjoy the experience with more time. it had very nice staff. they went above and beyond! and no there weren’t no cockroaches like everyone says. i will definitely be coming back very soon! and will invite my other friends as well. everything was amazing!!! thank you guys for this experience.

an absolutely lovely experience. I went as part as a traveling group, and they let us in after closing for a private experience. the rides were so much fun, and the lazy river was very relaxing to go through with my friends. the life guards were very nice, and the owner was very kind, giving a large group of us free waters, and asking us where we were from. 10/10 would recommend !

Got to say, love this place (especially in the winter months). My kiddos range from 5 to 11. This place keeps them occupied for hours. They have slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and even pirate ship for the littles. Sometimes some of the rides have to be alternated on what’s open due to staffing (it’s hitting everywhere for sure). They do a GREAT job and keeping things going and running smoothly. They have a cute little food place upstairs with pizza, hot dogs, pretzels and DIP N DOTS! If you are in the Anchorage area, or plan on making the drive from the valley, it’s totally worth stopping in!

Had a great birthday party here! The water was clean and didn't smell. The waterslides were all working and were fun. If you can look past the rusty corroded metal railings, you can have a lot of fun on the body slide, master blaster double tube ride, and lazy river featuring waterfalls in multiple spots. This place is very safety conscious with life guards in all the major areas. Great for ages 2+

We celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday here. She loved it! Kind of a bummer the 3 big slides were all closed. But the hand rails were being replaced, so atleast this place is getting a little TLC. It's needed. Just a little more love and this place could be so cool, food court was open too.

It needs a whole make over, fresh paint and new stairs. But we always have a blast when we go. My 4 year old what thrilled he can walk in the lazy River. My 11 year old and 4 year old loved the wave pool, especially when they turned the waves on.

I am a traveler coming from out of state and had a great time. The staff were so nice and welcoming and they provided us with drinks and towels. Overall a great experience with great slides, great lazy river, and a massive building.

I have been going since it first opened and went to the soft opening. I had my sons birthday party there twice when he was a toddler and he’s now 21. I’ve been concerned that it may close down specially through the pandemic and I’m happy to see it still open. Excited to get to rent a lazy couch area for the day as I can do what I want and nobody knows where I am because I enjoyed myself as if I was in the Ocean in Hawaii. We’re also we’re going to go to get away with that short feeling here in Alaska? Consider enjoying it with me so we don’t have to see it go. I don’t care if you like it or your friends don’t like it all I can say is children like it and we need to let them have children time.

I took my son there and we had a great time. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile and throughout the day we had nothing but good experience. I'm definitely taking my son there again. I'd like to point out that inside the park was warm and the water temperature was just perfect. The place could surely use a little fresh paint but to me that was not a big deal.

We live 130 miles from H2oasis and our 9 year old wanted her 10 th birthday party to be at the indoor water park.
We called and set up a reservation for a table upstairs for her party
When we got to the place we were treated so well that it was a great experience!
John one of the guys upstairs in the food court took care of us perfectly! He was our host.
He was just the best. He brought the food out and even brought out a decent knife for us to cut the cake. It was just the best!
The kids all played in the park for 5 hours and just had a blast .
Your crew treated us wonderful and very graciously. It was the best and easiest birthday party ever.

After reading the other reviews we were a little hesitant but decided to go for it and we were happily surprised. All the attractions were open with the one exception of the wave making machine in the wave pool (pool was still open though.). Yes this place could use some refurbishing, but we saw none of the bugs mentioned in other reviews and Little of the dirtiness. Yes the stairs up to the water slides had some rust on them. We spent about 3 hours at the park playing the whole time. I would say for $100 for a family of four that’s a pretty good deal. And we could have stayed another four hours for no additional cost.

Fun for all ages. I really enjoyed playing in the toddler area with my 3 year old the slides were actually fun to go on. My 11 year old and I tackeled the Master Blaster slide and yes I screamed the entire way down. :)

The wave pool is working(waves are huge)
The rides run at intervals for safety
The kitchen is not cooking food temporarily
But sweet foods are always stocked
Hot tub jets are repaired
Rust has been addressed (mostly) the process is ongoing
Took my grandson, had a blast!!!!

I wish there was a no star rating because it was that bad. This was the most disgusting water park I have ever been to! It was closed for most of the week we were there except the last couple days for renovations. As soon as we walked in there the smell wasnt very good, but we wanted to give it a try. The big slide was closed, the last river was freezing, one of the hot tubs was closed as well. When we got to the open hot tub it was so cloudy we couldn't see our feet. We then went to get a refund and the cashier said he didn't have enough cash to refund both couples. They wanted to write our card numbers down to refund us. The Casper called the owner to find out what to do since we didn't want our card written down. We went and changed in a disgusting bathroom and got our money back right as the owner walked in and he didn't care to even hear our side of the story or apologize! I do not recommend this place at all
