Perfect location and great food! This is quickly becoming my fav restaurant. I had the banana cashew crusted halibut taco and wowza! Amazing flavor! My husband got the bistro steak and it was cooked perfectly. We had a blonde with ice cream for desert and it was beautifully presented. The service was great and it’s right across from town square so the location was perfect.

Pangea’s deliciously juicy Drive-In Burger used to be tied for 1st place🥇with F Street Station for the best cheeseburger & fries for-the-money downtown; however, with Pangea recently increasing the cost of their Drive-In Burger by an entire $2, F Street Station has solidified its position as the best bar & grill for-the-money in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. 🥇💯

🏆👨‍🍳 However, a top-shelf Chef, beautiful open scenery with vibrant colors and natural light flooding in from the large windows looking out to Town Square Park, much more elbow-room and a vaulted ceiling is what you get for that extra two dollars. NOT A BAD DEAL! Pangea still easily gets five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ regardless of who might have a better priced burger & fries nearby. 🏆👨‍🍳🍔🍟🍺

This is a great date night place. Went here at about 6:30 on a Wednesday night and it was not busy at all. We were greeted and seated immediately by the friendly hostess. The drink menu had plenty of options for the beer drinker plus an extensive list of mixed drinks. The menu had some interesting items on there. Definitely not anything you'd find anywhere else in Anchorage. It almost had a Mediterranean/north African feel to the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. You could go here and just eat the small plate items and you'd be satisfied. Great food! Try it out!

Very interesting food combinations from around the world with a good drink selection. The salmon special was especially fresh, and the goat dish was nice. The only complaint is that the scallops dish felt a bit overpriced with just four (relatively) small scallops.

Vibrant, rich flavors, delightful variety, pillowey-soft bread (made in-house) and delicious break from the ordinary.

*mine as gyro topped with pickled purple onion, tomatoes and feta cheese. That spoon in the center holds a "don't miss" pepper-blend "harissa sauce" that will make your tastebuds sing.
A side of Halibut chowder that was the best I've ever tried.

Other son got a burger with fries and husband got a cashew-crusted Halibut sandwich. He said it was quite good.

Everything so clean and pleasant, got to chat with the head chef Pat, a great guy - and it shows in his work. If we ever come back to Anchorage we'd love to eat here again.

We had a great time! Wonderful service and very good food. The chef staff even spoiled me with a “salad flight” when I just couldn’t decide which one to have, lol!

Came here on a busy Iditarod weekend brunch. The day my friend and I stopped by, there was only one waitress working for the entire restaurant (I'm assuming someone called in). My friend and I didn't realize this situation until we were already seated. I may have left if I would have known, not because we were in any rush at all, but because of feeling guilty for just giving her one more table to deal with. Anyway, despite the circumstances the staff killed it. The waitress was super apologetic about the slow service--which honestly wasn't even that slow. It did take longer than normal to get our orders placed, but the food came out fast and she even checked on us mid-meal. I was thoroughly impressed by the service despite the stressful circumstances on their end. The kitchen staff even delivered some of the meals to help out and were super friendly as well. Now onto the food--it was incredible! My friend and I split the falafel pita and it was so so so good. The spicy harissa sauce on the side was both of our favorites. The pita was warm, the falafel was perfect, and the feta/tzatziki blend was fresh. We both got the side soup of the day which she said was a peanut soup. It was savory, full of flavor, and perfect on a snowy day. My friend and I agreed that we want to come back for dinner. Big shout out to the staff, we had a 10/10 experience on Saturday despite the chaos!

I haven't had a bad experience at Pangea. This trip was by far the best tasting though. Who would have thought that Sriracha, vanilla ice cream, and maple syrup went with hand breaded chicken strips.

Amazing food and service. Really neat place in the middle of Anchorage. Our waiter described their menu as all of their "all star" items. It is constantly updated - removing unordered items and replacing with new favorites. Brunch was awesome. I had the chicken and waffles. These had a perfect mix of sweet and spicy with a scoop of ice cream on top. Would definitely recommend and go back. Family had French Toast w/ homemade jam, classic breakfast, and a taco pita. All great choices. Oh, and amazing service.

This place is incredible!!! I highly recommend this place - the food was the best I had in Anchorage so far. The staff was so friendly and the music 🎶 was great. Nice and clean, super bright and full of good vibes.

Exceptional service. Our waitress Taylor gave us the best service I've had in a long time. The food was eclectic and flavorful. We will definitely return and make sure you get the Thai chicken wings!!

Oh my ! Each item on the menu was more appealing than the one before. Such a vast range of things. I picked the cod sandwich & my friend chose the Schawarma. The soup was a Currie Butternut squash that was out of this world . Will make a return trip & bring more friends to order different items to share.
Place was clean & friendly . Great addition to downtown

Pangea has started to become one of my favorite places in Anchorage.
Went to brunch last Sunday, couldn't choose between all the tasty choices. So... got three dishes I couldn't pass up and taste tested them with a friend. Falafel Benedict, Breakfast Tacos, and Pork Belly Huevos Rancheros. They were all super delicious! Their falafel is top notch, so I'd have to say that was my favorite of the three. Going back soon to try the rest!

Great service and even better food! The maple pecan bourbon was delicious and the Maple pork chop was flavorful and well cooked. It definitely paired well with the mashed potatoes. I will definitely be back!

We love coming here for their harissa carrots. My wife tonight had the veggie Wellington and said it’s better than her grandma’s beef Wellington back home in Texas, it looked delicious! The staff is friendly and the dishes are always presented with alternation to detail and flavors to match! Would recommend, it had more healthy options than most restaurants downtown anchorage

My group and I were so glad we finally made it to Pangea. I've been wanting to visit almost as long as I've been in Anchorage. First off, the atmosphere when you enter is exciting and colorful, inviting and open. Our server welcomed us straight away. Service was great, but what struck me was how each dish looked like it was from real ingredients, used properly to create delicious meals. My Bellini was on point 👌🏻. I will definitely recommend and u will definitely return to Pangea.

Excellent food, great drinks. Our waiter, who was also the bar tender did an excellent job with the cocktails. If you like duck, definitely order the duck dish, it was delicious.

Ordered a Veggie burger. Chief made me one and it’s not even on the menu. Where can you go and order food that isn’t even on the menu? I love this place! Fries are amazing too.

I love coming here for business dinners. There's something for everyone. Raoul is a wonderful server too!

Everything was great! The chicken wings and cauliflower bites were my favorite. So much flavor!
