A beautiful place for a nice walk, especially in May when the azales and rhodododendrons are in full bloom. There is an old mill and waterfall there too. The main path is paved making it accessible to just about anyone.

It is absolutely gorgeous. Different trails to choose from. They are all pretty short, which makes it easy to go through the different ones. I love the meadows, the forest can be pretty too( be ready for bugs and mosquitoes until the frost, although not too bad depending on the day)

Such a beautiful and relaxing walk. It's not too bad of a walk to the falls either! The way to the falls are paved making it easy and accessible to visit for anyone. There is limited parking but worth it.

Lovely place to walk around and feel the nature. There are many sitting areas sprawled throughout the park. The lake is a beautiful view as well. Be sure to bring your mosquito repellent!!

Finding this gem was a happy accident, a lot of the time I'm searching for new state parks to explore on Google. This is now one of my favorite new parks. The landscape at this location is beautiful and I like how it wasn't packed with people. Plenty of things to look at and you don't feel claustrophobic. Can't wait to head back to this location!

I love that no matter what the weather or time of year, Moore State Park has something to offer. Today's foggy day was moody and lovely.

Stopped on impulse. Very quiet and numerous trails to explore. Some ups and downs to get your heart flowing. Rhodies were in full bloom. Birds singing. River rushing. Enjoyable couple of hours enjoying nature on a misty day.

I have been going to Moore State Park for over 35 years and it is always been a favorite. It is a clean, well cared for park. Pet friendly and when the flowers are in bloom it is even more beautiful. Always worth going for a walk :-)

When the park rangers really care it shows. This magnificent park is meticulously maintained with love. Perfect accessible structures and paths in the main mill village area can take you back to the peace and tranquility of America in the 1800’s.

And the rhododendrons. Oh the rhododendrons. My introduction was to come upon a path called “Azalea Way” that is lined with old growth rhododendrons of every flavor. From small leaf Carolina rhodies to giant Rhododendron Maximum there is a great collection. I saw Nova Zembla, Chinoides, lots of Catawba in pink and white, and probably some purples like Lee’s Dark Purple and probably Boursault. Hard to say 100% as only the Maximum we’re in bloom on this July 4th.

The Staircase trail loops around but includes an easy climb up to the ridge of a natural cliff that seems unique to Central Mass.

Enjoy quiet solitude lounging in Adirondack chairs on the covered bridge over the falls of the upper mill pond.

The azalea loop goes past Eames Pond and follows the stream past the dams/waterfalls built to harness the hydropower to run the sawmill. The whole path is lined with azaleas, rhododendron and laurel. The old mill on its massive foundation is still there looking like a painting come to life.
We saw a loon, a family of geese, a scarlet tanager and a blue bird.
Amazing place!

Beautiful grounds but they need to have better markings for woods.

Great place for a hike, easy walk, well maintained trails . Trails need to be marked better, no trail blazers and a couple trail intersections are not marked at all

This review is posted primarily as an update on the park’s spring flowers. My husband and I went there May 26, 2019 and found flowers on about one third of the rhododendrons along the main path. However, as we walked towards the old sawmill, majority of rhoddies bordering the pond and falls had an abundance of lush flowers. The azaleas, further back along the Azalea Path, were in full bloom. Several images are posted. If you are particularly interested in the flowering shrubs, it would be good to get over there by end of May or over the first weekend of June.

I had never been to this park. Now mind you we only went through a certain portion because there is 400 acres. I hope that everyone enjoys these photos. Me and my friend Joanne Had the best time ever. Unfortunately in April the flowers have not bloomed but besides that the place was a blessing to see and to visit and just walk and relax with friends or family. Thank you so much for making my visit to this place a success, I give a shout out to those who clean this park. Very clean no trash seen at all. Trails were amazing. Covered bridges This place is just breathtaking the pictures don't even do it any Justice really. You must see this place if you visit the area.

Beautiful any time of year. Dogs must be leashed but love the trails through the woods and fields. Great stress reliever and sanity restorer. And it's free access! Enjoy the Enchanta Bridge in an Adirondack chair overlooking the pond. Thank you Denis and Lois - you have left a beautiful legacy.

Really pretty place to see in the snow and the old mill is a good place to take some photographs if you like to do that. Very easy to navigate the trails. They are great for a nice walk. These are photos of the pond and stone wall.
