Blackbeard's did not disappoint. Excellent prime rib and seafood. Items were fresh and there was plenty of food. The early bird is well worth it, including rolls, cinnamon rolls, soup, salad and a side....oh and one of the best hush puppies I've had!

This restaurant has been around since 1980 and when you go you will see why. This place feels very home like and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant itself as well as the food. Great prices and excellent food! The portions are very generous and all entrees come with a soup, salad, bread rolls and cinnamon rolls! Family friendly as well. If you’re ever in town, definitely make a stop here!
We tried the French onion soup which was one of the best I ever had, a dozen of the oysters Rockefeller, which were massive and delicious, and the broiled seafood platter which was also very yummy. 3 of us shared and still had leftovers!
Highly recommended!!

totally old school restaurant, return to Blackbeards and this time had prime rib. off the hook. tender cooked perfect medium rare as ordered and soup and salad, bread and cinnamon roll, will have one hell of a lunch tomorrow. and happy hours drink prices. very old school done very right. very friendly staff, was given a fresh au jus to go. over the top service.

My first time there. And man it did not disappoint! Food was AMAZING. I had French Onion Soup, fried shrimp and scallops along with a salad. Definitely planning a return visit very soon. A HUGE shoutout to one hell of an amazing waiter, Jimmy. He was quick, funny and made sure we got exactly what we asked for. For awhile I stopped going out to eat, because service everywhere I went, just plain sucked! Nope not here, just like the good old days, we all walked out afterwards completely satisfied❣

I love their early bird specials, but so do many others! They open at 4pm. We arrived at 4:15, the parking lots were full, the restaurant was full, and it's not small, and there were several parties waiting to be seated. We were told a 30-45 minute wait. Then they said they had a small table for two. Yes! The food is so delicious! I started with a Wicked cocktail with rum, banana liqueur and fruit juice-yummy. I ordered the fried seafood platter containing shrimp, scallops, fish and a crab cake with a baked potato. Hubby had their famous prime rib with a side of broccoli. They both come with fish chowder and a large salad, buns and cinnamon rolls. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. I got a chocolate cheesecake to take home..along with most of my meal...too full. Service was great! This restaurant is family owned and consistent in quality for over 30 years.

I have had Prime Rib all across this country and I have never had a Prime Rib this juicy. The shrimp is so tender and not overly coated. All the times we have been here, we have only been disappointed with one meal. And we have tried almost everything on the menu. Wait times can get long but absolutely worth the wait.

This was quite honestly the most delicious food I have ever had. Two appetizers two platters and the soup that comes with every meal. We even had beverages. It came out to about $100. From start to finish I was amazed by the quality taste and presentation of the food. Dee was our server and she was super nice and attentive. I highly recommend checking this place out and trying the delicious food. But show up hungry you definitely get good portions sizes.

My father in law lives in NSB and has taken my husband here. Ever since they have wanted to bring me. Finally I got to go for the first time tonight. Had the prime rib special with mixed rice, the Manhattan style fish chowder, a salad with thousand islands dressing and a hush puppy. Cool restaurant. Only thing I didn't understand was the cinnamon roll and only because I cannot have them (they trigger Sensory Processing Disorder, NOT THE RESTAURANT'S FAULT as they do not and could not have known about this prior. Won't hurt me, just can't handle the texture). It doesn't affect my overall rating. I love the ship design. Very well themed to pirates without being over the top! Food was spot on! I will make sure to come by again when in NSB! 😊

Wife and I ate here last night and loved it. I had the awesome prime rib and my wife had Hallibit (fish of the day) and loved it. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was the best waiter I've had in a long time. I read other reviews before posting this and one said it is on the water. It is not, it doesn't matter though because the atmosphere inside is very nice. For a Monday night I was surprised we had a ten minute wait and the place was pretty full. (that alone says how people love this place) put it on your list. It will now be one of my go to places for great food at the right price.

Blackbeard's Inn is a restaurant targeted towards seafood lovers. However, there are a few land-lover options as well. I would most certainly recommend this place to everybody!

FOOD: The food is absolutely delicious. I especially love their unsweetened Arnold Palmers; the perfect blend of tea and lemonade! They also put their drinks in glass Mason jars which was a nice touch. Before receiving your food, they deliver complementary dinner rolls and cinnamon buns, an absolute treat for everybody to enjoy before their main course. I personally get the full-rack baby back pork ribs, as well as the choice of their Manhattan-style fish chowder (no fishy taste *at all*), and both are absolutely fantastic! You'll most certainly be bringing back home some food back to have as next-day leftovers. (Note: The ribs easily come off the bone, allowing you to eat with just your fork—no joke! And they do slather their sauce on the ribs; they aren't dry.) I have also tried their blackened platter with shrimp, scallops, a crab cake, and I forgot what else... anyway, very delicious! This place is *just* as good as it was two years ago!

SERVICE: The service is phenomenal. Our servers, whose name I unfortunately forgot, who I also believe was a manager, was one of the best guys I have ever had serve me. It was a delight speaking with him. The other servers are just as friendly!

ATMOSPHERE: I love the atmosphere here. Not too loud, not too quiet, and everybody has a good time. The decor is pretty neat, too; it gives the place the theme of a pirate ship. (Cue the name of the restaurant!) Sometimes, I like to go to the bar early in the day when it's nice and calm. Very relaxing. Bathrooms are alright, though they feel crammed.

Overall, I would recommend this this restaurant to everybody. At least try it once. You'll most likely enjoy it very much!

The food is fantastic but if you want to eat at a reasonable time, you must go early when they open. We went there twice this trip to New Smyrna and we were there for awhile waiting for a table and then our main course. I wish they were open earlier to avoid some of that but there food is so good! Worth the wait if you have that time.

The tastiest prime rib in the Daytona area. Try it and you'll write home to tell others to come join. The rib is so hugh I shared it, and we both were satiated. I highly recommend BLACKBEARD'S !!

The salmon with crabmeat was great. All dinners come with a fresh garden salad, warm rolls and cinnamon rolls, Manhattan Fish Chowder (excellent), and a side. Everything was superb, and the service was top-notch. The open at 4PM. I recommend getting there early because we got there around 5, and there was already a 30-35 min wait. It's totally worth it, and I see why it's popular.

Service staff was excellent & attentive, checking in and re-filling beverages without asking. The amount of food you receive at this restaurant is abundant, come hungry!! Each entree meal comes with soup, salad, bread bowl also with cinnamon rolls, a hush puppy and one side!! so much food!! We had fried clams & Scallops with broccoli and fried clams & shrimp with baked potato. enough for lunch the next day.

Excellent food and service. We were hoping for the prime rib but it was sold out. Had the filet instead and it was delicious and tender. You could cut it with a fork. The oysters were huge and fresh.

We got the clams casino, New York strip, Cajun grilled shrimp, and stuff grouper. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The service was solid, but seemed rushed. If you want goo seafood, this place is definitely a place to check out.

Top notch restaurant all around. Delivered a boat down the road and this place was highly recommended and I see why. The staff was super friendly and very attentive to the whole restaurant and its patrons during the dinner rush. The food was delicious and the Cajun Prime Rib just melted in your mouth. Ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and was very pleased as well. I will definitely be back again ❤

This was my 1st time here. I was recommended by a friend. This is an amazing restaurant. Wendy was my server and took awesome care of me and my family. I will be going again next week after Valentine's day. The food here is amazing. I highly recommend this place. 👍

I could I would give Blackbeard’s a 10 star. This was the best all around food experience I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Great atmosphere and they are very accommodating for kids. Great drinks, raw oysters, blackened salmon, and medium rare prime rib that melts in your mouth. Awesome prices on food and drinks for exceptional quality. If you’re in the area this is a must visit restaurant. Check it out!
