Chases on the Beach

I met some friends and family here Sunday morning. We had a large table and with that usually comes some delays from the kitchen, but we were told that up front.
Keep things in perspective, you're on the beach and there to relax! We ordered some appetizers and drinks. You lose track of time catching up with folks, and that's what it's all about. Ashley and a few other folks took care of our table. They were awesome and did a great job of making sure we had what we needed. Some friends had the eggs Benedict, but I wanted the chicken/waffles. Glad I waited. They were delicious, and I had to take some chicken home.

The flavors were so good and there was three large chicken breasts! I'm not a Mimosas drinker, but I had some Jack Daniels/ Coke. Solid! It went well with the main meal and crab cakes appetizer. There were at least two large crab cakes that were part of the appetizer. Delicious and filling.

The parking lot can get full fast, but you can park across the street in the corner lot, and there is a traffic light to help pedestrians crossover without issues. The views are awesome inside and out. You can dine inside or outside. There was a nice breeze blowing that morning and it was in the mid-60's. A perfect day for good food, great service, and views. This place took a beating over a year ago with the hurricane that damaged the property, but they have done a great job making it over.

My hat is off to the staff here. They did great and were all smiles.

I'll definitely get there again and would recommend anytime.

We had a little trouble getting the service we desired in the beginning but they really stepped up & we had a wonderful dinner! 6 of us and our cocktails, apps & food were amazing! A beautiful day to sit on the deck & enjoy the ocean, family & eats!! Would highly recommend!

Iconic location in New Smyrna. Great food, excellent service. Lot the bartender was great. Love the remodel. Very nice modern appeal inside, and incredible beach front view outside. A must visit when in New Smyrna!

Recently renovated, and still very good! The drinks are good, prices are reasonable. Great all-around choice for all. During regular season, outside bars and pool will be open, with a lower party deck for the bathing suits and surfer's to hang out!

We haven't been there since they remodeled the restaurant. They have done an amazing job repairing the damage from multiple hurricanes last year. The food and service were excellent. It was one of the best meals I've had in some time.

Nice place good food great atmosphere. Haley was excellent. By far the best service we have received from anywhere. She made us feel like we were family.
One thing I didn't understand is the silverware. The quality was as if it was purchased at Dollar Tree.
Everything else was wonderful will return soon.

Sorry I forgot to take pictures. We had a lightly breaded fried mushrooms. And a cheese steak sandwich. It was the best cheese steak I have had in a really long time. It was so big I could only eat a little bit and enjoyed the rest with my husband later . We will go back

Chases is one of our favorites places to eat and enjoy a beverage! Their menu includes many options even for me being gluten free. Love the Bourbon Chicken Satay and the Steak Argentine was absolutely delish! They have a remarkable view and the staff is very attentive! White table cloth evening dining too on the weekend!

They have done an amazing job and redoing Chases on the Beach. The food was outstanding and I highly recommend heading over and checking them out! Staff was well trained and knew how to work their new system flawlessly. The have truly done a great reopening.

I ate here with a party of 6 others and everything ordered looked and tasted great! They have a well rounded menu with plenty of options. I ordered the Chases Platter (Grouper, Alligator, and Shrimp). You have the choice of ordering your fish grilled, blackened, or fried (I recommend blackened). Overall, the food was delicious and the restaurant offers a good view of the ocean. I recommend making reservations if you want to make sure you have a table for dinner.

Went for Sunday lunch. Crowded, as expected.
Loved the layout. Dine in or out. (Dined in).

Friendly and attentive service.
Only hiccup was the noise level.
It was difficult to carry in a conversation without speaking with a loud voice. On the other hand, a great buzz. But, that speaks of the good time everyone seemed to be enjoying.
Will certainly patronize in the future, but might choose an off peak hour.

There is outside dining.
It was quite breezy and cold, so no evaluation, other than it might be an alternative to the indoor noise.

Great experience. However, since I did not stop during the day, I think I probably missed out. Food was awesome. Bartenders were having a lot of fun, but kinda ignoring some people. Would go again!

Beautifully updated! Chases has a new and more sophisticated feel. The management is far more attentive than in the past. The food is yummy and the staff is lovely. Come enjoy this redesigned and fabulous restaurant! Thank you, manager Rachel, for being the best. :)

My husband and I visited this restaurant last Saturday for lunch. The constant breeze from the beach was so refreshing and made for a really nice atmosphere. Our bartender was Katie and she was just amazing. She was always there but not intrusive. She was so nice and helpful and is one of the reasons we will return. Her drinks are very good as well; be sure to try her painkiller...it was really good. The food was so good. We had the truffle fries and the fried asparagus. I really can't wait to return and try more items on the menu.

Ok the atmosphere is amazing in and of itself even down to the music! The waitstaff was great! And as for any reviews of the food being meh… you ordered the wrong thing! For drinks we had the frozen rose, turtle water, and top shelf margarita and all were awesome! We had the gator bites (taste was on point but they were a little chewy which happens) a strawberry salad ( feta was warm which changed the texture but it tasted great) and the most amazing part was the seafood platter on the appetizer menu which they nailed perfectly!!!! Super happy with this place and will be back when we come to the area again!!!

Nothing better than sitting looking over the ocean with a drink and good friends! Even when it is a bit chilly it’s still worth it! Kyle was our bartender and he was so great. Will be back.

Our daughter held her wedding at the oasis at Chases on the Beach last weekend. For anyone considering a beachfront venue, this one is great. The tent was great, the set up was great, and the service was incredible. Joe, the GM was an angel and helped pull everything together perfectly. We had rave reviews about the food and I simply cannot say enough about the service. We brought the decorations over in the morning and held the ceremony in the oasis while guests looked on. Joe moved the arch to the side for more pics during the night and that made way for a perfect dance floor. We had a wonderful time and the setting was perfect for a beach themed wedding. Thanks so much to the staff for making her day so special. I will post more pictures as they roll in.

I used to hang at this very same spot in my 20s, it was kinda nostalgic coming back 20+ years later. Still a great venue. Right on the beach, they have a fun pool, sometimes a dj, great service and we'll made drinks. The only thing they could work on is the food. It was still good but not like it used to be. I had the crab cakes and coconut shrimp. I liked the shrimp better. A great spot to enjoy drinks, music and a pool beach side!
