Overall taco shack is always a wonderful experience. There are a few times that they are not a five star service, but that is only because they are either lacking enough employees or the lunch rush is intense so nothing they can help. Sometimes when they are extremely busy, it does change the quality of the food since they are quick. I would 100% recommend for brunch or lunch time though when the quality is at its peak. This is why I do not recommend going at dinner time hours before close.

3 Puffy tacos for 5 bucks. Great deal. A puffy taco is a fried flour tortilla. On the menu they have hard shell (traditional corn tortilla), soft shell (flour tortilla), and PUFFY (my favorite).

My husband & I love this place. The food is very good. The staff is very pleasant & the atmosphere will take you to the islands.

This is a neat little place to get the best tacos & other Mexican food.

The service is great & the food is cooked awesome & fast.

1st time here, got the shrimp, rice & beans dinner w fried plantains-excellent-& so much food, had leftovers. Friday night, but only waited 10 minutes for my dinner, & waited 3 minutes to get served. Will definitely visit again !

What a great spot, food is amazing!!!! It’s on the self serve style but is absolutely worth stopping and eating!!!!! I had the tacos and a bunch of sides and was not disappointed and they have beer (just in case you are wondering) lol

This is a small specialty restaurant serving the best hispanic food in the area. When visiting relatives nearby, we insist on eating at Taco Shack often, and our family agrees. Just had dinner there last night. Not upscale dining but certainly delicious dining. And reasonably priced, plus special pricing on certain items throughout the week. You order at a walk-up window, then sit in a small dining area to wait for your order to be delivered to you. Takeout also available. Try it. We're sure you'll like it.

Really good steak taco, ground beef taco, chips, queso, rice and beans. Fresh food, cute place. Be ready to stand in line if you arrive at opening, but it’s worth the wait! 😎

Was referred to The Taco Shack by a local and it didn't disappoint! All food is made fresh with a Cuban flare and excellent. The steady flow of patrons proved it was the right choice for lunch.

The nacho-burrito and I add black olives. It's delicious, like everything on the menu!

The food is terrific and what a beachy setting. Very inexpensive. I love this place. You can get a 3-taco combo and try out 3 different flavours. The mojo beef is the best. The nachos are superb. Spanish rice is my favourite. I have to say every item on the menu is good. Go multiple times and try out each thing. 5 Stars.

Delicious food that is well priced. Outdoor venue with limited seating. Eat quickly to decrease time in the heat and give up your seat to the next customer. Will definitely return to the taco shack!

We asked Taco Shack to cater our Christmas party. Most of NSB lost power 2 hours before our scheduled pick up time. The team at Taco Shack worked in the dark, with headlamps (even though the restaurant was closed) to have everything ready on time! Absolutely amazing! As always, the food was perfect.

We had a half hour wait tonight but the food is always great! Cute decor and super nice people. Reasonable prices and large portions.

Fantastic tacos and super service, the line is frequently long but it moves fast and it gives you time to figure out your order. Excellent fish tacos!!!

When looking for a diamond in the rough, this is the place to stop at before heading to the beach. Everything has been prepared from scratch and ready to serve quickly. The fish tacos to the Cuban sandwich, all local favorites. I still have half the menu the enjoy. Now one comment and this is my option and preference. Wish there was more fresh Cilantro on the taco. Still amazing tacos.

Worth the wait. Got there around 12:30p with a bit of a line. Waited a good 20 minutes to order, but the food came out really quick. The prices well great, and the portions filled us up! Definitely going to be back when we pass through NSB from now on.

Taco Shack makes our life sweeter. It's really good, affordable food and the owners are good people! We decided to order something new tonight, pork & chicken flautas, rice plate with steak & guacamole. Wow! We were happy!
