Adkins Charles DDS

My husband and I are new patients. All staff were competent and friendly. Dr. Adkins is kind, not rushed, thorough, gentle and explains with compassion. So thrilled to find this dental office!

Fortunate to have this dental office, both staff and dentist in our rural community. Excellent care and so grateful for them!

Was at our second home in Virginia and needed a good Dentist. Well guess what I found one. Dr. Charles Adkins is wonderful and so is his team.

Funny and kind

I've only been there once from my experience its a good dentest office he loves to talk though.., .

The Receptionist on 8/10/2023 was rude to my wife and did not process insurance until after the appointment, and became frustrated having to assist the client.

The Employee should be kept in compliance, and the practice needs to be changed. Atkins is well respected but as an extension of his services his staff, specifically, the receptionist has failed his business and damaged the practice obligation to community ethics.

Luckily we can afford this out of pocket expense, but to anyone else struggling this is a shameful show of customer service.

As of now, our relationship with this practice is null and void. Please make this right; I would love to say good things about this business in the future.

Karen the receptionist and probably the wife, is so rude and disrespectful. You'd think an older lady would have been raised right. Don't bother coming here, they "can't handle anymore, because a doctor is going on leave, you're just going to have to find some where else".

I never post review, but I felt this was necessary. I called and left a message about becoming a new patient and making an appointment, and the associate, Karen, was extremely rude. She asked for my insurance and told me they weren't taking patients with my insurance anymore, but I have two policies. Before I could ask about the other policy, she hung up on me. It was very unnecessary and quite rude. Just felt I should share!

The receptionist is extremely rude they talked over me and hung up on me before I could even finish asking what I needed to. I called back to let the employee know how rude and unprofessional that was. Receptionist do affect a business and that employee is damaging that place of business. 10/12/2023
