Barnes & Noble at Longwood University

Although it’s now summer break for Longwood University, the Barnes & Noble there still is operating and more than a bookstore. There were several sections in the store adjacent to the Starbucks Coffee cafe. A couple examples were school supplies and literary books. Today was my first visit there. Although it was almost empty, the cashier was there and asked if I was ready to make a purchase. Fortunately, I found a mini notebook there that would be very handy for taking notes for a Farmville VA real estate business!

Being from another town... I was just looking for a good cup of coffee and a place to relax on a rainy day.
Everyone was nice and had me smiling from the second I walked in the door. Great place to talk, study, read, or just vegetate with some Starbucks brand and style drinks. (coffees/teas)

NEW B&N @ Longwood! Lovely new place where the old Bank used to be. Much more space. More room for Longwood stuff! I worked there temporarily. Good service here as usual. You cannot use your Starbuck card here even though they sell their products.

Ema was amazing at least I think that was her name, she was so helpful friendly and welcoming... my son is going to be a freshman this year in longwood and she even made him feel more confident and excited about his choice where else do you get such friendly professional service??? She also had green hair just incase we got the name wrong she will know who we mean... thank you!!!

B&N at Longwood is a small bookstore because it is housed in an old bank that is protected as a historical building, and that limited what the architects and contractors could do inside. While their upstairs general reading section is small, they are connected to the B&N Inc database and can order almost anything you would find in a big box B&N Inc store. The staff is knowledgeable about the industry and makes great recommendations. The B&N Cafe is clean and the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. They always have good sales and coupons available in the email program and their app My College Bookstore.

Good service, polite workers, and everyone is eager to help. Plus, the Starbucks cafe has some good food available. All the favorites. I recommend the donuts 😉

I love it .you can relaxes have coffee meet people and do your work. Most important to me i can ge help if and when i need it. The people are nice too

Went to get a frappuccino at Starbucks. Wasn't disappointed. Parking easy enough to find..

Neat college store & you can eat in an old vault if you want. Have not tried tbe food yet.

Big, organized and beautiful. You can reserve the vault for free. Super cool.

It's beautiful, well layed out, and has a cozy comfortable atmosphere to it.
