Sometimes, it's the first ones you seek which are the best - you get BLESSED. (I don't believe in luck!) It was a good discussion with the person with whom I spoke, explaining how they work. It was as he said.

Our move from MA to TX seemed ominous, though it wasn't a full household, I (under) estimated the amount of Rubbermaid/Sterilite boxes and odd furniture, thinking maybe I wouldn't need 2 cubes. It became evident when we loaded 96 some boxes and misc items in Cube #1, that Cube #2 was going to be necessary.

I was informed my cubes would arrive the scheduled Mar 4, and they did. It was a good thing I DID have help loading, amazing help and we completed the loading, with only a few extra items to be added along the way and at the end.

The Cubes were definitely solid and workable, though one of the 4 door latches wouldn't drop down (or be forced down) into the slot securely, but I was able to lock the opposite door of the cube. (It arrived securely, though I wasn't even able to secure the latch on that door with the cube empty).

I had to depart MA for TX Mar 6, and the cubes were supposed to be picked up that day. They were. (Picture below.)

I was informed about every new location at the end of the day. They arrived on schedule, and I contacted the locale, why I had to wait a week and it was their schedule, that they didn't drive to the final destination except on Thursdays, WHICH THEY DID.

My friends and I emptied the cubes the next day. I called to have the cubes picked up, which was supposed to have been Monday, Mar 25, but a flat bed maintenance issue prevented them being picked up then. (This would have been great had I needed the extra time, which they were going to give me anyway.) At this writing, the cubes still haven't been picked up (ETA today, Mar 28).

The boxes were stacked 6 high and some of the boxes and lids were damaged, but the contents were not, except for a few lightbulbs in one of the boxes, but most of them survived, despite the appearance of some smashed boxes. Nearly all of the RUBBERMAID boxes survived the trip and the weight of the other boxes on them. (Good learning experience on packing). Wasn't the fault of UPACK, just my inexperience with such.

But EVERYTHING up to this point was JUST AS THEY TOLD ME. The price was as quoted with no extra fees. I'm so pleased with them and have already recommended their services to others - the ones who helped me. THEY were impressed too.

I shopped around quite a bit and found AFB U-Pack to be highly recommended and the best price of any pod-type delivery companies. Before the move they were instrumental in helping me figure out the scheduling of our long distance move. I had the dimensions of the cube, and a pile of boxes that I thought would fill the cube. When it was delivered it looked smaller than I anticipated. BOY WAS I WRONG! We loaded our huge pile of belongings and it was only half full! Since it was only a partial preliminary move we were able to add more items to the cube and bring much more. (It ended up holding about 50 boxes, mostly banana boxes, 12" x 12" x12" cube boxes, some small furniture, a portable chiropractic table, a massage table, 3 folding tables, 8 folding chairs as well as quite a few art prints) Both the drivers who dropped off the cube and the one who delivered the cube were experts with the forklift. They took extra care in the placement and removal. They were personable and professional. once we emptied it, I went online to request a pickup. They came promptly the next day and retrieved it. Not one thing arrived broken or damaged though there was plenty of china, glassware and large picture frames with glass.. (I am an excellent packer so I'll take partial credit for that.) Everything was done in a timely manner with no delays or surprises. When we complete the move in the near future we will definitely book another cube with U-Pack from ABF Freight.

U-Pack made our move from NC to MA easy. Everything arrived as scheduled and we had 3 days to pack and 3 days to unload. Nothing was damaged during transit (I tied things together well using ropes and the very strong rope holds on the walls of the packs). Delivery and contact people were all very friendly and willing to work with my schedule. 2 packs worked great for our two bedroom townhouse. Much cheaper than alternative companies. Would move with U-Pack again!

Hired UPack when we moved our home from Canada to US. Very professional and efficient operating business. Handled all the documents and paperwork electronically including paperwork for crossing the border. And responding to phone calls timely. Recommend to anyone moving home cross the U.S. Canada boarder.

This is my 2nd time using U-Pack and highly recommend. The most recent time I used them it was for a move from Houston to Boston using a relo-cube for a 1 bedroom. Both the pickup and drop-off guys were super nice and helpful. The text message updates were great and included links to your dashboard and to pay (making it really easy). The cube arrived within the time estimate set.

Such a great moving experience! They showed up, I filled the truck, they took it away, and I got it back at my new place. Super easy, all the staff was awesome, and way more affordable and easier than a pod or a uhaul

Great experience with ABF! I ordered 3 cubes and needed a 4th during two days before they were scheduled to pick up. They delivered the 4th cube the next day and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The pick up went smooth and the drop off in NC was quick and easy. I appreciated how their drivers had a good sense of spacing for where to place the doors for quicker and easier loading/unloading. These guys know what they're doing. Great company, great experience, made the move so much easier!

We used three cubes for our stuff and packed them in mid Feb this year. They were picked up right on time and got to our destination on time. We had them stored for almost 3 months and then had them delivered to the new place. Everything was done quickly and efficiently and for a pretty good price. The one beef i have is that one of the cubes leaked and did some water damage to some of our furniture. Other than that it was a great experience.

Great company! They were very accurate with esimate (actually charged less than estimate). They got our shipment across several states in less than 2 days, in the middle of winter. Everyone I spoke to on the phone were courteous, friendly, knowledgable, and were able to either help, or get me to the correct person to help me. The drivers of the truck were very nice, very talented drivers. I will be highly recommending them to all family and friends who need to move!

Good communication throughout the process. Delivery and pick up in a timely manner. Professional. I saved quite a bit over the other “box” companies. The only difference is the truck/container sits high so a ramp is supplied. It would have been easier to just walk out of the moving container rather than down the ramp, but may be worth it for the almost $1,000 saved.

If your considering on how to move from state to state this is the way to go. After researching all methods of moving We chose U-Pack. First It is the most economical !!! Don't we all want to save money.. I thought about driving a big truck back full of furniture. It was cheaper for the truck rental but then I added in fuel cost and tolls and quickly changed my mind. Here is how I did it. I rented a truck from Home Depot Packed it up and drove to the truck terminal where you will load everything into U-Pack pods. We used two pods . Oh yes the extra pods are really cheap. I had it shipped to the closest terminal to my house. Three days later pods arrived. We rented another truck and picked up our furniture etc. at the terminal. I had the 16 foot rented truck for 24 hrs. so I used it to do some other moving we needed done at our house. The truck rentals range from $65 to $100. That's about 70 miles for the day. If that"s too much work for you U-Pack will deliver the pods to where you are leaving from and also deliver to to your home for a fee. I had plenty of help so I opted to pack and move furniture to terminal then terminal to my house. My son and I did all the moving of furniture. U-Pack is really user friendly . They give you extra days for free if you need them. One last thing ask for AAA or veterans discounts. Go on line, check them out and get a quote . They beat every other company out there by lots of $$$$$$$.. Thanks U-Pack

The move of my personal effects constituted a distance of over 500 miles. I had no time or energy to go over the hassle of renting a truck, and its driving with my family. Paying movers to handle this relocation was going to be more as well. U-Pack's option was the first of its kind for me and it went smooth. The representatives were very helpful and so were the ABF handlers who delivered the 'relo-cubes' and picked up on time. I am also thankful that within a small time window they delivered the cubes to the new destination that allowed me to work on the last weekend to empty out and make the containers available for pickup in my presence. I also like the option of returning any relo-cube that may remain unused free of charge. Bravo U-Pack.

My husband and I have retired to South Carolina. We started getting quotes on moving our three bedroom home. Two private movers gave us quotes of $10,000 and $11,000. Next was Pods which gave us a quote of $6,500. I kept looking around and found UPack. True, we had to do the packing and loading ourselves, but the savings was amazing -- $2,800. Everything went beautifully. I was a little dubious about my load leaving Pepperell, MA and arriving in Greenville, but had NO trouble at all. In Greenville, I hired two helpers for $350 and had the truck unloaded in 4 hours. What got damaged you ask?? A wine glass broke, a lamp shade, a monitor and lastly my foot board of bed too a long gouge (ouch). It can be repaired. Plan on some physical labor, but the $7,000 we saved will go towards our next cruise. I highly recommend!!!

I used the Upack relocube service to move from Boston to San Diego. I thought it was very convenient and one of the best priced options based on the quotes I received. I didn't have a destination address at the time of shipping so sent it to the depot in SD. This worked out since the address I eventually found and moved into was on a street too busy to deliver too. Time reflected what they quoted, only downside to the entire thing is that the depots are located ~30min - 1hour away from cities (Boston and San Deigo).

Once again, ABF has come through!! Communication was outstanding from start to delivery and made what could have been a chaotic cross-country venture into a walk in the park.
