Huge shout out to the Sclamo's delivery team. Bought a replacement stackable washer and dryer. When the delivery team showed up to install it they found that the door was 3/4 of an inch to short to get the washer and dryer into the space. They came back the next morning, removed the door frame, installed the unit and put the door back in place. All done with the utmost of courtesy and respect to my wife and my daughter. No way you would get that service from a big box. Awesome experience.

She ordered the wrong size.
They were amazing at helping us.
Their first trip they took my old one back
Then sent the new one just days later.
The new one had to have a new plugs d then was too short but all was fixed perfectly thanks again dawn

If you are looking for an appliance this is the place to go! I would not hesitate to buy from here again. Today's washing machines are nothing like what use to be available. Manufacturers are trying all sorts of things to comply with mandated efficiency requirements, while still trying to clean cloths. Some of them work well and some not so well.

I worked with Jim Valk and the owner Peter. Both very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Jim discussed the pro's and con's, showed me reviews and price comparisons. He helped me make the best decision given this new technology, which may be good for the environment but not so great at cleaning really dirty cloths. A front loader was the way to go for cleaning my husband's dirty clothes. They clearly want happy customers and I'm one of them! Thank you Sclamos!

I just wanted to update you on my previous review for Sclamo’s. I had a warranty issue and was very disappointed by the initial response I had received. A few days later Kateri from customer service at Sclamo’s appliance and furniture
Reached out to me and let me know there was a little miscommunication and assured me that my warranty issue would be resolved. Kateri kept me informed on everything going on and was very professional.
My sofa was repaired yesterday and Jim did a great job! Thank you Kateri for all your hard work resolving my warranty issue and restoring my faith in Sclamo’s Appliance and furniture I will definitely buy from your store again.

Wish we started our search for a new electric range here. We had very poor to no customer service at 3 different locations. What a difference at Sclamo's! Great service and selection with even better pricing! Thank you Jim for setting us up with the new GE Range at a great price! We will be back in the future!

Went in looking for a mattress, was instantly greeted by Peter. He was very friendly, extremely helpful. Made my girlfriend and I feel very welcomed from the beginning. He asked my budget and what I wanted and he help me find exactly what I wanted and got a delivery the next day. I definitely recommend going here and asking for Peter. Thank you for all your help. I am very pleased. Will be going there from now on if I need house appliances.

Great service and fair prices! I bought a gas range from them and they helped me right away and coordinated with the plumber for the install.

First time buyer here. Referred by a good friend who shops here for a appliances. I came from far. Was easy to find. When we arrived they were very welcoming but gave us our space to look around instead of following us like in some places. We skimmed through the clearance section but we decided for a new refrigerator since it seemed like prices were similar. After looking for a bit we found the one! They were very quick to put our order in but then said unfortunately we would have to wait until the end of May due to out of stock. I was bumbed but understood. Next day i received a phone call from them saying they were able to find that same refrigerator through another vendor and that I would receive it that week! I was very excited!! And grateful! Delivery was free and on time like they said! Delivery men were great and quick and oh yeah careful! Loving my fridge and the price!👍 Great first experience..thanks!

I like this place because it’s a very small family owned business they’ve been around forever they’re really fun group of guys that work over there I’ve got furniture from these people for years 20 something years myself he could improve his delivery time if I order it today I want my furniture tomorrow I know that’s not gonna happen but just saying

I went to their outlet in Rutland. I was on a budget and was pleasantly surprised by the selection they had for a washing machine and portable dishwasher. They told me they don’t have the portable dishwashers that often. So I was very pleased there was one. While it did take some time to deliver the items the gentleman were professional, courteous, and on time. They were mindful of my place and hooked up the washing machine and checked to make sure all functions were working. I highly recommend Sclamo’s!

If service and a very fair price is what you are looking for this is the place to go. Team is on top of things, selection is great. You will be waited on here, no looking for a sales associate like the big box stores. Also love buying local.

I've always had great purchases from Sclamos and great service! Over the years I've must've have purchased 9 items from living room/ kitchen, living room again, a bed was my recent purchase. They called ahead of time, came when they said they would, were very polite no mess at all, and we're done within 20 minutes . Peter was wonderful to deal with as always.
I will keep coming back when I need to purchase anything .

I just bought a beautiful cherry bed and nightstand and again great customer service great place to do business if you want quality furniture go see Peter. The delivery man was so professional and so polite, it was a pleasure to have them in my home.

In these difficult times, when appliances are tough to get, we ordered and received our new GE fridge in a very timely manner so Sclamo's promised. They have their own trucks and delivery/installation crew. The installation was great...Jonathan and his partner were very professional. We were very happy with whole experience.

Had an awesome experience with school I’m always as I needed a new refrigerator went and spoke with Peter he took care of me I was out of the store in less than a half hour and I was on budget. Delivery guys were amazing they came in they did what needed to be done they put the fridge rated together for me they cleaned up even though it was a super hard day and I’m sure they were very sweaty they never once complained or were rude they were happy to do it and they did it in a timely manner. Pedro and Benny were rock stars they exceeded my expectations

I had a great experience here. They were so helpful in choosing a washing machine brand and type and really worked hard on the processing without pressuring me at all... its refreshing to be given that kind of consideration. Zero stress in the transaction, delivery, and installation. I will buy all my appliances from them from now on.

We went to Sclamos because they were the only place with 20”-24” electric stoves in stock.

I never expected to spend so much money in one place.

My husband and I went to buy the small oven and a dish washer. Easy enough.
We spent a little more in the dish washer then planned but purchased a much better machine then expected. The small stove was exactly what we were quoted on the phone.

That’s when the fun started! We found a complete living room set, with a package deal price. I only wanted sofa and love seat, Sclamos lowered the price and broke up the set so I didn’t have to buy pieces I didn’t want.

They sell Weber grills. Ours just turned to ashes. We that purchase also!

Here’s my favorite part. I have a new dinette! Exactly what I want, not even on the list of “big” items to be purchased.

So we bought a dish washer, a stove, a living room, Weber Q and a dinette with delivery and removal of all the old stuff.

Our plan for Sclamos was just the stove, then off to several other stores...

We were under our planned budget AND we bought EVERYTHING on our list plus a kitchen table with chairs in one place!!!

Peter and his brother are very personable. They listened to what my husband and I had to say. There was no pressure to buy. At one point Peter asked if it was ok to step away from us to help another customer with their purchase, did you get that ? He considered us before walking away! Customer service hasn’t been forgotten at Sclamos.

My wife has always bought appliances here and we just replaced our variously failing refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Their prices were superior, we had a salesman all to ourselves and I don't have to worry about the "Oh you bought this from big box chain X, that means..." jerk around should anything go wrong.

It's a local mom & pop. Apparently they survive by providing value, by their loyal local following. I mean something must keep them in business versus the millionaires. So I'll join the chorus and award the 5 stars as our actual buying experience was so straight forward it required few heroics by which Sclamos staff could prove themselves. That is, we already knew what we wanted (all Whirlpool) based primarily on reliability ratings from Consumer Reports - keep the feature bloat please. There was no problem getting what we wanted in classic white - versus soon to be out of fashion stainless.

My wife first bought the refrigerator which was delivered the day before Thanksgiving as promised providing somewhere to put the fresh 32 pound locally sourced turkey. Kind of critical for the 22 guests arriving next day. I think we paid $20 for them to swap the still good kitchen fridge into the garage. The removal of the garage fridge with the death rattle and of course delivery of new one were included in the price.

Here's the one surprise though. My wife (a blessing she is in my life) was shopping a $50 off black Friday sale. Little did I realize - not sure Sue did either - there were actually two $50 discounts, a manufacturer rebate plus a Scalmos sale price. But here's the kicker, while discussing the considerable challenge of scheduling a delivery with two people working full time, I said I'd simply come pick the appliances up on Saturday - as weekend deliveries weren't offered. (Lucky I've got a pickup truck). That was fine with the store - which accordingly took yet another $50 off the selling price.

Great prices, great staff, awesome selection. Peter and his team were fantastic with the selection and quick delivery of my Maytag fridge, gas oven and range and dishwasher. Would certainly do business with them again!!
