Hilton Garden Inn Chesapeake/Suffolk

What makes this Hilton so wonderful is the staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and content. I have been to many "fancier" Hiltons, but I have never experienced top-notch service like I have here!

It’s located in a very quiet area. Minutes away from Walmart and chain restaurants. The staff is very polite and the lobby is very inviting. It’s smells like I’m walking through a flower bed. My room had a pull out sofa and chair, it would be nice if those items were updated. It looked overused. Overall, I will definitely stay there again.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in a while. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is pretty good and reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean and have ample bodywash, shampoo and lotion dispensers. Will defintely stay again.

Rooms are older, but clean quality hotel where you have minimal noise from the guest above or beside you. Has a bar and restaurant area and nice little outdoor patio area with a fire pit. Previously staying at the Marriott properties and plan to return here again based on price and location and quality.

Only recommendation to staff would be if you have people waiting outside with a pet to check in any room becomes available. It is greatly appreciated to be contacted when your rooms available instead of continuing to wait outside.

I stayed at this location in August 2022 after having stay previously. I was disappointed. The facility really needed a face lift thought the service was great. I stayed recently and I am happy to report it's back to living up to and surpassing the standards I think of for Hilton hotels. Room was great, water temperatures working and though the facility has not been renovated it has been scrubbed. Glad to have it back!!

Perfect location for anything in Suffolk and Chesapeake. Every variety of shopping/dining nearby if you don't want to travel in traffic. Even better, eat in the hotel, one of the best hotel restaurants in recent memory, exceptional service and food!

Enjoyed my stay. No complaints in the comfort and atmosphere in this location.

Happy with everything EXCEPT was surprised that you are charged for the continental breakfast. If you prepay when you reserve your room through the APP, it is more expensive. There is also an option for breakfast to order which is a bit pricey (to me).

The hotel was beautiful, well located by outside restaurants and shopping. The staff was polite, the room was cleaned well and smelt great. There was a clean seal on the door to demonstrate no one has entered the room after being cleaned, even the remote was in a plastic bag. They had a early check,-in as well as a late check-out. The bed was very comfortable and the room well adequate for working on the computer and other paperwork. I enjoyed my stay and the environment was conducive to relaxing.

I booked this hotel through their website for this location. We had been there before. I called their local phone number and it was routed to a call center. When we arrived the room was different than what I had booked and confirmed. There was an additional fee for making the reservation, which I questioned. The front desk and management made everything right and we were very pleased with the service and final outcome. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Starbuck just 2 blocks away.

Enjoyed my weekend Staycation. The king size Junior Suite was very comfortable. The made to order omelet, 2 meats , pancakes and fruit for breakfast were tasty and there were a variety of breakfast choices as well as dinner choices in the Evening. I most enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi.
For warmer days or nights they also have a grill station and patio area. But one hidden treasure I discovered there was the ballroom with its own private entrance available and boardroom which would be great for celebrations, weddings, reunions or more..
And the staff from the front desk to breakfast to housekeeping was amazing...

We had to get two rooms on very short notice. They helped us out with no problems.

My stay was Awesome and Amazing... The staff was Amazing... The cleaning crew was awesome... Quiet and Mind relaxing !!! If they see this, could I get one free night for staying 6 days straight 🙏🏾🙌🏾✨✨✨... Seriously !!! But thanks for the awesome and pleasant stay. Shout out to (Ty) He was amazing !!! Y'all give him a bonus!!! I came feeling empty but he was so pleasant he changed the atmosphere of my day. Will be returning in the near future.

The staff at check in was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Proximity to places to eat was super convenient. The pool, hot tub and exercise room was all clean and cared for. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Overall an excellent stay.

Had to go to Portsmouth for training. Room was nice and clean. Staff were all super sweet no matter what time of day. Restaurant only open for breakfast due to staffing issues, but they gave a list of nearby places so you could pick before you go. They were absolutely wonderful here.

After experiencing a nightmare at our first hotel, we called to book a room around 11:30 at night, and even checking in around midnight, we were welcomed by big smiles and very friendly staff. The reservation was made very last minute, but the hotel was more than welcoming. After walking into our room, we were immediately met with a clean smell. As most people know, a clean smell is a big deal. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed made the stay worthwhile. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on. Staff came first thing every morning with clean towels and took out the garbages, and the staff at the front desk remembered us on a personal level, always greeting us with smiles. This was my first time ever in Virginia, and the folks at this hotel made it a fantastic first trip, and I plan to return just for another stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend.

Needed a room for 5 nights 10:30 at night and they were very helpful. Hotel clean, super nice staff in the morning as well as evening. Will be back

Excellent customer service in the food court, the food was tasty. Audrey, our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and helpful - she went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of. I hope she trains the other waitress. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were good, a bit small but for the price and location it was a good value.

This place is the place to stay. Carol, the general manager is simply awesome. The client care that this hotel top notch. I would go so far to say the customer care rivals that of much more expensive hotels such as the Ritz Carlton or the W. Very nice place. Way to go guys.
