I have visited the church and the grounds, and seen the work how they feed the poor and need. They serve breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM every day Monday through Friday. If you are in need and you are hungry. Come to this place grab some food they don’t ask any questions.

On Fridays there is mobile trucks with medical team , showers and clothing on the parking grounds.

I love the NA meetings here they are daily and amazing esp the meeting at noontime and the one they host on Saturdays (Rise & Shine Group). They are set up differently depending on the day of the week. Sometimes it's a speaker meeting and some days it's a big book reading which we all share on and or where we are at in our recovery. Great amazing service workers and Fellowship. Plus coffee always! Definitely worth a visit if you have not been there for their meetings.

I was very impressed with the relevance of Father's homily. We went there for Mass since we were traveling. A Focus missionary recommended the church. The beauty of the Church is striking, the architecture, lovely. If we pass through there again, we will certainly stop by again.

The people who volunteer to help work there are soooo nice. Good food pantry on Saturday morning too. Other than the 630am-10am. Mon-fri

Beautiful church! The choirs are usually amazing.

It's in really good shape and they also have the food pantry for the needy. Wish I was there for a different reason.

St John's Church is a very good place to go in the morning to get a good breakfast coffees great the People Are Awesome God bless them I love them all they're good good people

I went there for breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. The food was good and you can take as much as you can carry.

Such a beautiful Church! I find comfort in knowing my young cousin and other family members before him that have passed on to a better life. Father Madden and the congregation help ease that transition and give us Comfort that the Lord is with us through these tough times.

Father Madden is truly a gift sent from God! He is so kind and compassionate and the work he does to help the homeless as well as addicts is remarkable! He truly makes this world a better place!

I have supported the Mission of this Church, for several years, particularly the “Food for the Poor Program”. Their unwavering commitment to support the homeless, the needy, the forgotten, is evident throughout the many different programs & opportunities. Father Madden is terrific leader.

Amazing people who help the homeless. They also provide breakfast for people who cant afford to make their own. Very nice staff, very helpful and dont judge you for coming in. Also they let you pick out food that they have laid out and you can take whatever you can carry. They provide to the homeless for what they cannot themselves. Very great service.

My father's funeral was here father madden yes father madden is A great man of the cloth a take no BS and praise the Lord kinda guy, couldn't stress enough about how creative and beautiful the church is too what a wonderful amazing and blessed place.

Fr. John Madden, at St. John’s parish, in Worcester, Mass, has successfully done what good priests have professed to do: Fr. St. John’s Parish have been graced by God to have a dedicated priest such as Fr.,John Madden. Hoping he will be at the parish to continue his priestly role of bringing other Joy and closer to God.

Always willing to help the homeless and those with low income. Set up a COVID vaccination center for a day to vaccinate the homeless. That shows great initiative. Awesome place

This Church is doing an excellent job ministering to the needs of the poor and homeless in Worcester! They open 7 am-10 am M-F to serve hot breakfast and lunch including coffee and orange juice. They also provide food for you to take home such as bread, fresh veggies, cooked meat from local grocery stores, yogurt, etc. On Saturday mornings they give out fresh fruit and vegetables. If you live in their zip code you can access their food pantry!

The BEST CHURCH IN THE CITY!!! IS THE MOST HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS GROUP OF PEOPLE YOU'LL EVER MEET!!!! If you ever got a rough spot and need ANYTHING these people will do EVERYTHING they can to help in anyway!!! Not too mention how many GOOD homeless people (NOT ALL IF THEM ARE DRINKING AND ON DRUGS SOME JUST SERIOUSLY HIT HARD TIMES) most of that area's problem is the people under the bridge that have the Ambulance and Cops there ALL the time!!!! Those same people have been kicked out of StJohns for years because of that behavior! The kitchen they have open 5 mornings a week is a BLESSING FOR MANY, there will always be people who take advantage and abuse things people are trying to do good for others. This is the only church on the city that goes ABOVE N BEYOND for the poor!

I come here most days for the free food in the morning lovely people great food and they give clothes to the homeless highly recommend

FATHER MADDEN IS ONE OF THE KINDEST MOST LOVING SINCERE MEN I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE IF YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED IN HELPING A CHURCH OR VOLUNTEER OR BIBLE STUDY OR MASS OR FUNERALS I AM GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS CHURCH BEFORE ANY OTHER GOD IS TRULY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!
