The staff was very professional and accommodating to the needs of my mother. The nurse on day shift on Mothers Day 2024 who helped my mother hold her new great-grand daughter for the first time
She wheeled her down to the parking lot and graciously waited while we took family pics. This was a true act of compassion! Thank you, nursing staff, for your kindness to my mother!!

Once again INOVA Alexandria has exceeded all expectations as I delivered my 3rd child here on Christmas Day. Everyone from the ER to L&D were amazing! Treated like family, attentive care and top tier healthcare - I love it here. Thank you all for your professionalism and dedication

Went to the ER due to directions from an urgent care dr. Check end in, sat down to wait, and as soon as I set my stuff down they called me back for triage then immediately to a room. They were super fast, cordial, and knowledgeable. Ended up getting checked in for observation and some procedures. The nurses were very sweet and attentive. The food was good too. Highly recommend this place if you have to go to a hospital.

Has been outstanding,excellent job.i got admitted around 7:00 pm 05-23-24 for shortness of breath.and she been hands on her job hobble and passionate,professionals by take care and other patients as well,thank you for having as a nurse and you guys continue the good work.

I wanted to share my experience about this hospital. I was there 5/19-5/25. It was a tough eight days, and the thing that made it amazing were my doctors and nurses.

I have too many people to list but the people in unit 21 changed my world. I am still thinking about how I can thank them for what they’ve done for me even though I have already sent them thank you gifts. I cannot stress enough how important the nurses were in my recovery.

Also, there was a respiratory team. I had about 7 ppl helping me with nebulizer treatments and other things related to my care. Thank you to them, helping me get my breathing back on track.

My doctors Chauhan and Khoori. You two changed my life. And Dr. Denbel, who was the regular HOSPITALIST in the floor. He was a rockstar and fought for me every day.

By the end of my journey I had been there for eight days so the people in the kitchen taking my order for food became like friends. Thank you for the yummy meals, the customizations, and the fun in eating.

We had an awesome experience delivering our first child here! The nurses (especially Alyssa!), Dr. Williams, and entire team were supportive, accommodating, and professional. It made the entire process so comforting and enabled us to enjoy our new baby.

I went to the ER very frightened about my condition..Nurse Melissa is a true professional who was genuinely concerned about my needs, & I felt as if I was her family member. She kept me informed explaining why it's important to get the tests Dr.Almay wanted to do. I was admitted & was treated respectfully by ever staff member. I would recommend Alexandria Inova Hospital to anyone needing care. The food is exceptional too. Thanks again to Melissa who made my ER experience a pleasant one. Thanks to all the staff that cared for me. You all are wonderful.

The level of customer service and care is unmatched! Went 2 support a bestie completing their final treatment. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful 😍 I hope u never need treatment, but if u do, this is the place to fight and win! 💕❤💕

I’d like to recognize the excellent care I recently received at Inova from Dr. Noah Koon and the nursing staff. I came in for outpatient surgery for circumstances that were really difficult. Dr. Koon and the team were very empathetic and talked me through the entire process. They made a terrible situation a lot more bearable and I appreciated their positive attitudes. I know their work is exhausting and thankless. I hope this small recognition highlights their good work. I highly recommend receiving care at Inova.

I read most of the reviews and I had an COMPLETELY different experience. Being a person of color, I’ve had a lot of doctors not listening to me and completely dismissing my issue and pain levels. I had to go into the ER yesterday after a two week battle of lower stomach pain due to kidney and gallstones. My doctor ; hands down the BEST) sent my across the street to INOVA Alexandria and from the security friars, registration, ER dr, ER nurses, r Radiation tec, to the pre op staff, to the surgeon and their staff and last night the postop style I had one of the greatest experiences at a hospital that I’ve ever had. Very attentive, caring, and pathetic, sympathetic, great listeners and communicators all around A+ staff!!! No one has convinced me or me to write this review it says I have never experienced in my 44 years of life, a better staff! Thank you Inova!!!!

Had surgery here yesterday with Dr Cleland. She and all of the team members were fantastic. Every single interaction from the front desk to the custodians was super positive.

Alexandria in the billing department is phenomenal. Her customer services skills are great. She owned my issue, worked with me to find a resolution stayed on the phone until she was sure it was addressed.

After having other bad experiences with the health system, this was such a surprise. Please allow Alexandria to train not just in billing but throughout the system.

Had my thyroidectomy here. All the staff was wonderful. Very attentive and always asked me how my pain was. They made it the best possible experience for me and I am grateful for that.

Very caring, attentive nurses and physicians who tracked progress through all units without missing details, personable and friendly while maintaining professionalism, staff answered all questions thoroughly to ease my concerns and help me understand my care. Clean facilities, good and prompt food service, medical needs met on time and with clear explanations, recommendations of treatment options made by multiple doctors before proceeding. The staff here cared.

Is my 1st time coming in, but the service was very good from the moment we walk in thur the front door. Staff was great answer all my questions. Because we came to the emergency department I understand that there will be some wait but we got help quick maybe because of the big cut in the arm… so to all the staff in the Emergency Department Thank you so much for your help and care

I delivered my son two weeks ago here and while the actual delivery part was less than ideal, the staff was wonderful. I was induced early (variety of reasons) and we checked into a large, clean, nice room. Nurses were kind and communicative. Took a while to get the pill, but once we got going it all happened fast. Only complaint is the anesthesiologist took FOREVER and then when she finally gave me the epidural contractions were so fast it couldn't keep up. 2nd anesthesiologist, Dennis, delivered lifesaving pain management which allowed me to push for a while. Baby was stressed so ultimately had a C-section womp. BUT was communicated with and Dr. K did a great job. Postpartum nurses were amazing. SO kind, so helpful and encouraging in my most vulnerable and undignified few days. Second room was smaller but still nice, everything worked, food took a while but was good and hot when it came. Staff was so compassionate. Definitely take advantage of the nursery option so you can take a nap. Nurses were all so helpful and communicated clearly with each other at shift changes. We felt super cared for and we are deeply appreciative for a healthy baby and my recovery. I would totally come back here for Baby #2 and would highly recommend the team to anyone.

I had surgery at this location today. Everyone from the moment I stepped foot in the hospital to the moment I left was incredibly kind and made my scary experience. So much more manageable. Thank you so much to nurses Megan, Grace and Moe. Thank you to my sweet anesthesiologists whose names I can’t remember. I didn’t want to have this procedure but it was necessary and they put me at ease as best they could with their amazing bedside manner. You all rock! A billion stars if I could.

My daughter went to the ER with severe abdominal pain and ended up needing emergency gallbladder surgery. The care she received was excellent from the ER to the staff on the Twig surgical unit, especially nurse Charles and tech Joann. My husband and I traveled in from out of town and we were also treated excellent. She had the best experience she could have had under the circumstances.

Can’t say enough about the staff. I wish I had all of their names to acknowledge them publicly. From the receptionist, billing department, techs, staff, and doctors. They all provided such outstanding care and customer service (door 14) staff that I had to take the time to review. They made my appointment very comfortable. Thank you for your outstanding service. It is greatly appreciated.

I gave a birth here and it was great experience! I was afraid of google rating, but in fact everything was perfect! Staff is very attentive, help me on every stage and explain every action and answer all my questions. After birth I received a lot of help and advices with baby, it was veeeeery helpful! Every person I met in hospital was very kind and nice!
Delivery and postpartum rooms are okay there, food is good quality (but small portions, be careful if you like eating).
