Walgreens

I have gotten nothing but top notch service at this location. I had a pharmacist fill a prescription at 8:55 PM eventhough it would mean she would have to say open past 9 PM to give it to me. Nor have I had a rude salesperson, on the front end. If there is one negative to this location its that when they converted to walgreens they discontinued carrying some of my favorite organic women's health items. But I'm reaching out to Walgreens Corporate to get more choices like rite aid had and CVS does have.

A family member in Alexandria recently came down with covid and is recuperating at home. We wanted to help in any way we could, but we're too far away to drive. Following the advice of an MD who's successfully treated many patients for covid, we looked for a place that had -- and could deliver -- supplements he recommends. We found this Walgreens had them and offered same day delivery. Long story short, there was a glitch with one of the items, (online it appeared as "out of stock", when they in fact had *one* but I still couldn't order it online. However the manager of this Walgreens went to a great deal of effort (above and beyond, so to speak) to make sure we could eventually place the order and have it delivered to our family member. I'd give her a big hug if I could, and I mean it!

Dr. Tran, the Pharm. D., and his assistant Kumachew are truly outstanding professionals to work with when I visit this great Walgreens Pharmacy on a weekly basis in Alexandria, VA!

Today I went to pick up my mother’s medications and pharmacist Daija was helpful and able to help me efficiently with effort and tried to make my visit easy and convenient also Monica at cash register was outstanding
I thank both of them and be so easy and accommodating

The pharmacy is SUPER

A nice little spot near where I live. Never had any reason to dislike the place. They know me as a regular and say hello and are very friendly when I walk it. Always have just what I need for quick visits.

Definitely not a good pharmacy. Slow, not responsive, and lack customer service skills. Will try to switch to CVS or some other place that has a since of purpose and urgency.

After waiting in line, I find out that my vaccination appointment is cancelled as soon as I walk up to the counter because the pharmacist was sick and going to the ER. The pharmacist nor any of the workers behind the desk were wearing masks. If you go here, you will get sick from the staff.

Appt 2.30pm for 2 vaccines, arrived on time or a bit early... still waiting for 30 minutes 😪 I complained n walk out

Horrible Pharmacist and pharmacy staff. Arrived to pick up upon notification… no greetings form both, they tell me I’m not in the system and didn’t offer any further assistance. As a matter of fact the pharmacist is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful due to his serious attitude problem. I pulled up my app and he still so was nasty and refused to do his job even though I was in line before closing. Alexandria please reconsider a local competition! Very poor customer service and staff that have a sense of urgency and care for the public!

Pharmacy closed in the middle of the day. Waste of time.

Called end of business yesterday to confirm I can stop in this morning for passport photo without any issue. I came in this morning and they said machine has been down for several weeks. Crazy traffic completely unnecessary. Incompetent on every level.

Pharmacy staff either doesn’t want to work or gets weird pleasure out of turning away customers. Oddly enough, the tiny Harris Teeter pharmacy in the same area was way more responsive and friendly.

I went to pick up my prescription not realizing another store had already transferred it. I was fine with that. What got me was the price at Walgreens. The transferred cost was $.98, while Walgreens was $2.30 for the same pills why? That is unacceptable. Never Walgreens again!

This had to be the worst Walgreens in America. Lines are always long , the asian physician at rhe pharmacy doesnt follow simple instructions and prolongs the wait. The passport machine is always down ... this is pretty unacceptable please do better smh. I love across the street so I'm here more offen then I'd like to be .
