No 1 Restaurant

Ordered takeout. Probably the best dumplings I’ve ever had. Enjoyed sweet and sour chicken - chicken was extra crispy and great. Beef with broccoli sauce and general Tsai. Will definitely be ordering again.

Their salt and pepper shrimp is the bomb! General Tso's is on point, as well as the crab Rangoon, beef lo mein, never had anything I didn't like from there..

I ate here for the first time 2 weeks ago, I had the General's chicken with white rice lunch size it come with an egg roll and I ask for extra hot an spicy with extra sauce and it was absolutely delicious! So I'm about to walk in an order it again for lunch today. I hope it's as YUMMY as it was the 1st time

Please, if your new to Gloucester, visiting our area, or never ventured out, Please, head out to #1 China, take the family. It is not a large restaurant, but they do have lovely tables and chairs to where if you have four or six in your family you could eat there easily.
We always get take out. It is so nice to be able to eat a great meal, while in your pajamas.
In our family we get various meals and then share alittle here and alittle there.
Everyone is stuffed when we are through.
You will never, ever be disappointed.
Here is another great benefit, you go to other restaurants and there's a buffet, the food is usually warm and possibly been out there for a little while.
At #1 China, they fix your food, right there and then. Piping hot, so tasty, and never tiny portions of meal hosting big prices.
Prices are great, food is great, and the people are truly kind, polite and very cheery.

Everytime I go in the service is perfect, it's speedy, and the food is awesome, it's one of the few places I will go to for any sort of Chinese take out. The people who work there obviously love what they do! Keep up the awesome work!
