Curb Appeal: This cozy little shop is nestled in Lexington, just down the road from VMI. It's a good-looking storefront with a great window view and a decent amount of parking nearby.

Customer Service: The service on the phone was great! The employee who answered had answers for all of my questions, and they were willing to list off the beers they had in stock that were in my preferred category. While in the store, the staff was very helpful and cheerful.

Pricing: This is not a place for cheap beer or wine. It is a place for great beer and wine. Thus, the price will be higher for said higher quality. Their prices are mid-range for craft beer and wine.

Variety: They have a much better variety than the beer section at a grocery store. Everything from German imports to funky California IPAs. Their stock also changes, so feel free to call as the seasons change for new beers and wines.

Awesome selection! I didn't look much at their wines (they had a lot though and I will be back!) but I did pick up some Strawberry Ale and Cardamom bitters. They had a lot of nice stuff, and the woman at the register was very kind. Great experience!

I love this store! They have a wide selection of different wines and regions, friendly owner/staff, and the prices are excellent! They also have different foods, sauces, and cocktail bitters. They offer wine tastings every Friday, I hope to make it out to one soon.

When in Lexington, this is your go to for wine and beer as well as some yummy prepared snacks and cheeses. They have a great wine tasting Friday nights from 4-6. Check it out then go around the corner to Clover boutique to shop!

Kali, the new owner, takes the time to learn her customers' names. She has a good variety of wines in every price range, and is willing to place special orders. She also carries beer and cider, and is building a commercial kitchen with plans of offering grab and go foods. Best wine selection by far of any retailer in Lexington!

This place is amazing. I always leave with a happy selection that I never could make myself. Walking in and looking around can be overwhelming for someone not versed in wine but the lady in the shop is so helpful that I always have something affordable and delicious. The tastings also feature great beer and wine that is delicious and affordable. Extremely pleased to have this shop in town and such great staff to assist

update: 2/26/22 Returning to reiterate how fine a wine shop Washington St Purveyors is. They have added so much! Sandwiches, salads all house made. Extensive cheese selections, great local breads , gourmet foods and the wine and beer selections are more amazing every week! Plan your next evening with WSP.
