Castro's Bakery

They are the nicest. Every cake shop i asked them to just put icing inside the cake either pink or blue ( for gender reveal) refused unless I preordered which takes minimum two days. This bakery was the only bakery that did it for me within 15 minutes. The two ladies at the cashier were so nice. The cake tasted really good. Thank you so much for making my intimate gender reveal to happen same day I got the results.

The cake was very good , very moist . The gentlemen that took my order was nice . Great service .

I’m not sure why so many people have wrote bad reviews. It’s not a fancy place by any means but the fruit cake is amazing. So maybe I’m not as judgmental of the employees as the other reviewers because I take it for what it is. I usually walk in there and buy one of the premade white cakes and tell them a name to throw on it. I have to wait a few minutes for them to take it in the back and do it. I’ve never thought the writing looked bad like others say. Every time I get one for a birthday people want to know where it’s from. If you just want a simple cake that tastes great this place is the best.

I buy all my cakes 🎂 and they have bread 🍞 😋too, they make very good cakes taste very good 👍But they very expensive but is good quality 👌 👏

I have loved Castro's for a long time. The fruit cake is perfect. Not too sweet with layers of whipped cream icing, cake, pudding and fruit (peaches and strawberries). YUM. The tres leches is good too. Today they had etole de elote. It was delicious. Service can be a bit spotty but the food more than makes up for it. I have gotten many birthday cakes here and they were always decorated beautifully.

I went in here just to buy a soda. But man, next time I'm gonna buy some baked goods!!!! It all looks so good!!! And people say Castro was a bad man. Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼💯🍞🥐🥖🫓🥨🥯🍩🍪🎂🍰🧁🥧

You don't have to get Latino staples like tres leches. Their pineapple upside down cake, baklavas, et cetera are good too.

Their tres leches cakes are amazing! I love the little cake cups with the icing roses, too. Their prices are really good and not much higher than grocery store bakeries charge. For the taste and quality I would expect to pay much more. I live for birthdays just to have an excuse to eat cake from this place.

I love everything they got. But it's funny that I was greeted in Spanish. Which I don't understand. But all was great. Not so much sugar in their products. Great taste engineering

So many various pastries and cakes. Their food is amazing. The single best thing about this business is the smell once you walk in. The store smells like cake or a pastry. It's awesome.

Love their pastries! But like in there previous location they should have chair, especially if there are costumers that would like to wait for their cake.. but overall it's good!!

Awesome cakes, always packed so be prepared with what you want and expect to wait but in the end worth the wait. They have a lot of choices and at more than fair prices for the quality that you're getting.

My family has been getting cakes from here since 2007. Every single birthday we get Castro's cake and it's amazing. It wouldn't be be a birthday without a tres leches or a fruit cake.

Been having their cakes since 1996. The fruit cake is amazing and its always a big hit at parties. They also have lots of pastries to pick from. Some of my favorite items is the flan, turnovers, quesadillas and pastelitos de piña. I will continue to shop here for my party cakes.

It's the best Napoleon I've ever had, so light and refreshing, delicious and I'd go back for it every day if it was like fat or low calorie!
