Food is always good, service is fast. Hometown diner atmosphere with the coffee cups always kept full. Pancakes 🥞 are my favorite breakfast item at most places but not here. They have a weird flavor to me, or it might be the syrup. But all the other food is delicious, so I'm still giving five stars on food. I'm just a pancake snob 😉

We stopped here after church one day on a whim and man am I glad we did! It was definitely busy (a promising sign!) but we were seated and helped very quickly. The atmosphere is very country kitchen and comfortable, the staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the food is AMAZING! The pancakes are light and fluffy and flavorful, the sausage was delicious, my eggs were cooked perfectly, my drink was never empty. This place is such a great find and I think my family will be regulars there. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

This was mine and my husband’s first time going and we are not disappointed at all! Service was great, food was good, just wish they offered real maple syrup. We will be returning soon. 😁

Another win for finding amazing diners! If you’re down for shrimp and grits, bring your appetite cause this is the place to feed that beast! I also ordered a side of tots but that was just plain gluttony and dumb and I had no business trying for it - they were also everything I wanted them to be! The staff was awesome as well. I don’t think I ever saw the bottom or even the half way mark of my coffee cup and it’s always a pleasure to be in the company of fellow tattooed creatures.

A great breakfast, brunch or lunch place. I had country fried steak and eggs and my friend had Starvin Marvin. Lots of coffee with plenty of offers for freshers. We got there around 830am. Busy but some tables available. If you have a group be sure to plan ahead, but they weren't taking reservations.

Even though the Burg has eleventy billion breakfast places, we had errands on this side of the Coleman Bridge so popped into this delightful restaurant.

The staff could not be friendlier and the omelet selection is awesome. Choice of sides far beyond the usual. I had the Philly Cheesesteak omelet with biscuit and fried green tomatoes. Yum 😋

This restaurant has evidently been here for years, but this is my first time coming. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best omelets I've ever had. But more importantly, the atmosphere and friendly service was phenomenal. Janet and Sandy made me feel quite at home and extremely welcome. I would recommend this place without hesitation!

It’s nearly impossible to say enough great things about the egghead diner!!

The service is spectacular.
The staff members are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.

So happy they are on my way to work, and that bridge gives me opportunity to stop in for breakfast sometimes 😉

I have had the standard "bowl" for breakfast at places coast to coast. Across the country this is one of the best bowls I have ever had! Friendly staff, good service, great food!

Our best part was the waitress who made us feel super special and at home. She said she had been waitressing for more than 15 years and used to work at Suttons. She needs a raise. Smiling, chatting brought our food out super fast. Food was tasty but tasted syscoish not personalized. Onion rings , fries, fried shrimp. Come out and try them!

The food was outstanding! We asked for over medium eggs with no runny whites. Almost always, we get runny whites with our eggs. Eggheads actually made the egg yolks runny, but the whites perfectly cooked! Fantastic service! Fantastic portions! Just a really great breakfast!

Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! So many choices I can’t wait to go back and try something new!

We had lunch there recently, and were sooo happy with food and service!
My husband is a Reuben snob, and the sandwich he had was outstanding.
I was extremely happy about my liver meal. It had tons of onions and gravy -prepared just like it supposed to be!

Prices were more than reasonable!

Our server was great: very personable yet tactful.

Overall I give the restaurant five stars! Highly recommend. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Love! Love! Love! Great food and service every time my family goes (at least once a week). We are treated like apart of the family. We are greeted with a smile from the staff and leave full and happy! I would highly recommend Eggheads!

If you’re looking for the older hometown style feeling in a restaurant, then this is it. I was impressed on how fast my food was prepared as well. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed the experience.
