Lighthouse Restaurant and Bar

My crew and I had an excellent time. The fish and shrimp were really good. My hubby enjoyed his burger and fries and our friend raved over his crab cakes. Our waitress was phenomenal. We were served well and felt like we could let our hair down here.

The food was delicious! The Sunday Catfish special made we want to pull up a seat after church and stay til close. The cole slaw was just wet enough to be delicious without being messy! Would like @ least 2 ears of corn, but it was tasty without butter! The baked regular and sweet potatoes was so tender. Looking forward to going back again when in the area. The staff was GREAT and so respectful of the ELDERLY! IT WAS LIKE A FAMILY AFFAIR.

I got fried scallops which were really good. Also had the green beans and sweet potato fried which were tasty. Live music on a Friday nice waiter.

Had a great dinner here. Not too expensive

Outstanding appetizers great service and a well educated bartender. Recommend this place for a casual meal or drink. Seats available indoor and outdoors.

Perfect place for out-of-towners!
We were driving from Philadelphia to Charleston and spent the night in the area.
We didn't want to stay in the room and order room service so we looked on Google maps.
Friendly employees!
Delicious food!
Reasonable prices!

Always great, what I call good old fashion country restaurant, with good food, good people, and just that down home country town feel. They have been short staff lately, but even with that, they keep that positive attitude, servicing you with a gracious smile and a country hello, I just love it. Its not about the looks, because they still look out of date, but its about the atmosphere and how they treat you that makes you not even care about their outdated decor. The food and atmosphere speaks for itself and thats what keep me going back

Good food, great service, despite some of the negative reviews (mostly pertaining to service) I have eaten there 2 times, both waitress were excellent, food came to table in a timely manner and was cooked appropriately, will return

All-you-can-eat hush puppies and fried catfish. It was the best I've ever had.

This place is awesome. The food was great and the service was better. The blonde bartender, didnt get her name, always asked if i was good needed anything. The other crew was just as nice. But man the food left me speachless!! Buttery and very fresh!! Told all my trucker friends about this place. Thanks again!!

Update: Go on a Saturday at 6-7!!!!!! We went on Saturday 6/25/21 WE FELL IN LOVE TONIGHT! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 ⭐'S Omg! Our waitress was the best we've had in yrs. REALLY AMAZING SERVICE! We went to the lighthouse for dinner on suggestion and hands down best seafood I've ever had, the best all around experience between awesome service to the hot and delicious food! Me and my mom got the crab dip & chefs special. Go on a Thursday at 9pm and I would give it 3.5⭐'s for the food was good and correct but definitely not an impressive experience.

Good food, great service. From reading previous reviews, the owners are taking people's comments seriously and making some great efforts to meet demand. I had the flounder and shrimp entree with coleslaw and sweet potato, and all the food was great. The complimentary hush puppies were very good as well.

Friendly, helpful waitstaff. Food prep took longer than expected but they kept us informed. I just had a salad, appetizer, and beverage - was very pleased. There was live entertainment in the heated (temporarily enclosed) porch so that was a bonus. Was patronized by a mature crowd, though several younger families were dining inside.

My husband and I travel for work all over the US. This little restaurant/bar is the best. They make you feel so welcome in the very beginning. The food is very good and reasonably priced and they have live music nearly every night. So pleased with this establishment. Please stop in and give it a try. Have fun and get full.

EXCELLENT customer service. Tasty crab cakes. Plenty of steamed shrimp. could of used more seasoning. but they were good. corn on the cob way too small. sweet tea was average. We would definitely eat there again if in the area.

Went here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Service and food were both great! Crab legs and steamed shrimp were delicious. Will def be back.

Great seafood place. The all you can eat shrimp is a great value. The hush puppy's are probably the best I have ever had. The slaw is delicious as well. All that in a clean friendly environment. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I recommend giving them a try

My husband and I love the lighthouse. Great atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. There is live acoustic performances by a very talented local musician on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Just a fun hometown laid back place. I can't recommend it enough

Nicest people in the world! I am from NJ and was working in the area. I had a medical emergency while having dinner there and the staff and patrons were so helpful and concerned..they stopped everything and took care of me till the ambulance arrived and one gentleman named Darryl gave me his phone # and made himself available for anything I needed including rides back from the hospital and back to my truck the next day..I would give this place 10 stars if u could!! Southern hospitality at its finest!
