This is our go to movie theater. It’s a combination of first run big movies and small independent films. Locally owned and operated, it just has more character than the bigger theater chains.

It’s more affordable and more friendly.

I am shocked at the value of ticket and concession prices. I got a candy and a water for 7$! You cannot get that at regal or amc. Clean theater, friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Loved this theatre, had a great experience!

I've been going here since about 1996. VERY inexpensive, great popcorn, and clean! How ANYONE could call this great Mom & Pop theater 'trashy' is a just plain being vendictive ... that little BRAT !

We absolutely love our locally owned little art house cinema!!! The movies are both new releases AND indy, it's super clean, and it's the best popcorn of any cinema around!! This is one of our favorite local places to take some time to relax.
We only wish they gave a military discount.

An independent movie complex showing indie and foreign films you might not get to see anywhere else in the area. Join their rewards program for free movies, drinks, and popcorn. Senior day is Wednesday.

This place has such a great "neighborhood" vibe. The owner even comes in during the previews and asks the audience after each one, "do you want us to get that movie?" And then he listens to the audience reaction. It's a great theater. Comfy seats.

I worked there in 1986 and loved it, remains my favorite movie theatre today. Can’t say that about many places, adore it’s still thriving.✌

This and university mall are the best movie theaters in the area, hands down. Even though their prices have gone up a bit over the years they are still miles more affordable than any of the big name chains and they still show the newest movies.

Plus the staff has always been incredibly friendly, the chairs are really comfy, and the popcorn is amazing. Really really recommend going here when it's time to see your next movie.

One of the best movie theaters in Northern Virginia!! It's been one of my favorite cinemas to visit when I want the movie theatre experience, and don't just wanna watch the blockbusters. I hope they're able to stay open as long as possible as their one of the few theatres in the area that support independent and foreign films.

Friendly staff (coming from a Midwest transplant), affordable snacks and tickets, great selection of films. Little piece of home.

Whenever I want to see an indie movie or a film that isn't going to get a terribly wide release, this is where I go. The theater is smaller but very comfortable. The theater has this "community" vibe which is very friendly and welcoming. Its those small personal touches that make seeing movies here a better experience and it's why I keep coming back.

The tickets are fairly priced and the concessions are too. They aren't cheap (what movie theater's concessions are?) but they are better than most places. You should definitely check this out if you haven't been here before.

Great little arts theater. 6 screens, better than usual prices, especially on the popcorn and goodies and very comfortable seating. Movie wasn't crowded. Staff was very friendly. Love this place. You can now get your tickets online and also pick your seats. REALLY glad I live nearby. Recommend.

This theater is perfect for anyone who likes smaller theaters. They have limited theaters, limited movies, and quieter sound. The screen is also not overwhelming.
Honestly the best theater I have been to, to date!
Staff is friendly and areas were clean. Prices were comparable to other theaters imho.

I’ve been seeing movies here for almost 20 years and it remains my favorite theater. I love the community vibe, the curated movie selection, and the experience of seeing a movie here—they were often the only theater in the area playing certain films pre pandemic. They always have great snacks, including items you can’t typically get at a theater, and they listen to their customers when deciding what films to run next. I was afraid they wouldn’t make it through the pandemic and was relieved when they did—this is one of the last small business type places left in the area and I hope it makes it for a few more decades yet.

The best deal in town for seniors on Wednesdays. 6 bucks for a first run movie. Can’t beat that!!

I liked it alot the theater is smaller in comparison to some other national brands. But it was a good experience good watching good listening overall great time would definitely recommend!

I love this movie Theater I grew up with it and it’s just gotten better. The seats are super nice always a good example of how going movie should be. The owner during the previews fills up your popcorn and ask the crowd if they want to see that movie. I love going there!
