Wonderful small hotel in a great setting. Everything inside is clean and neat but at the same time it has the feel of a traditional Mexican hacienda. Rooms are a good size but not huge. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Nice sized bathrooms.
Breakfast at Sashas was very good and reasonably priced in comparison to any restaurant in the area. We stayed one night on April 2.
They do allow dogs for $50/night which seems a little excessive.

I have seen this building sitting in disrepair for years. Work started on renovating the hotel, and I couldn't wait to explore the magnificent workmanship that went into this historic site. After after several years of bringing The Hacienda back to life, it was my pleasure to stay over with my husband for my birthday, back in October. It was so worth the wait! The hotel is done beautifully. There is a lot of original architecture, the fireplace, bookshelves, and archways in the lobby are original to the building, and have some old photo's and books placed about.
We had quite the history lesson from one of our favorite front desk employees....Oscar!! He is so welcoming, full of knowledge and his personality is just right for the position he holds at the hotel. Sometimes we just stop in to say hello. :)
Our room was one of the larger ones facing the park. The room was spotless, quiet and the beds were so comfortable. We had breakfast in the morning and went back with my family at night for some drinks at the bar. Charlie is a fantastic bartender, easy to talk to and wants to know where the customers are from.
Our experience was nothing short of wonderful!

We selected The Hacienda to celebrate my mom's 80th surprise party and we are so glad we did. Rafe (event coordinator/manager) was easy to work with and very responsive to my many emails and questions. Danny was just as accommodating and helpful too. It was a fantastic location with good food, drinks and service. Thank you!

My husband and I stumbled across The Hacienda after a last minute Google search. Everything about this little gem was wonderful! While much more intimate, it had the feel of some of the grand old hotels, like The Greenbrier and The Homestead in our own neck of the woods. The historic flavor was carefully maintained, while the decor was fresh. While our particular room was a little "cozy" , we appreciated the comfortable furnishings (especially the bed and linens), updated styling and cleanliness--I'm a tough critic when it comes to the latter. At the time of our stay, we found the hotel to be very quiet, even though it was apparently at capacity. There was a live concert in the adjoining park that night, and we loved listening to the music from the rockers on the back porch without having to fight the crowds. All of the staff were very professional and attentive--from the front desk staff who were so helpful when we arrived, to the wait staff who served our delicious breakfast and the housekeeping folks who prepared our spotless room and greeted us warmly in the hallways. We can't recommend The Hacienda more highly. Thank you, one and all, for taking such good care of us.

We had the loveliest time in the King Suite for our early Valentine's get-away. The entire 1920's restoration is exquisite, the room appointments are generous, the restaurant is a can't-miss experience... And Oscar, the concierge is incredible, so warm and hospitable. The whole staff is attentive and available. Sims Park is wonderful. I can't say enough about how much we enjoy this little jewel.

What can I say, this is a beautiful place to stay. It’s quaint and comfortable. The best part was meeting the Ambassador of the Hacienda,Oscar Vitacco-Robles. He greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. You would have thought this was his own home. He explained the history and the process they went through to renovate the place. It took four years and has only been open for a year. If you want a quiet, relaxing place to stay, do yourself a favor and come to the Hacienda and meet Oscar.

From the moment we booked our stay at the Hacienda hotel, we were treated to exceptional hospitality that truly defined our experience. The hotel’s prime location, combined with delectable food options, made our visit delightful. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Oscar. His dedication to ensuring a memorable stay through outstanding customer service and his vibrant personality left a lasting impression on us. Every interaction with the staff, from booking to check out, was met with warmth and professionalism, making our time at the Hacienda hotel truly remarkable

My wife and I spent the weekend here for a quick getaway. All the restaurants were close by. The lobby was spacious and nice. We were able to open a bottle of wine in our room and walk around the various overlooks of the park and sit by the fire in lobby. The breakfast was great and the bar was nice to sit at for a drink.

My husband and I stayed here immediately after the flooding of our house from the hurricane. The room gave us a cozy feeling that we needed at the time. We love downtown New Port Richey, and we were able to walk around for morning coffee, dinner, and dessert. We also ate in the restaurant and the food and drinks were fantastic. Oscar was exceptionally kind and compassionate during our stay! We definitely recommend booking here.

Katie was amazing. The drinks the Hascinda 1927 and the cherry-chello so good. We sat outside one the patio in the warm sun. Lunch was more than satisfying. The overall atmosphere was friendly. The old world vibe. We wanted to visit in 2023 didn't get the opportunity, so we put it on our bucket list for 2024 and it didn't disappoint.

My company Christmas Party was hosted here this year. The staff did an excellent job maintaining such a large crowd. The food was delicious; the drinks, fantastic. Most grateful for the bartender, Charlie, who made a point of conversating with her guests, while pouring great drinks. Thanks for a great night out and wonderful customer service.

Wow! We have always stayed in chain hotels and decided to try this place for a change. And we will be staying here every time we visit NPR! Not only has the building been beautifully renovated in a way that honors the historic value, the staff is top notch and the room was amazing. We were warmly welcomed upon checkin. As we entered our room the first thing I noticed was how good it smelled. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean - seriously, housekeeping is top notch!! While the room is a bit small - there’s not much you can do to change 1927 architecture. The hacienda makes up for it with the character of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. Thank you!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our ten year anniversary, back in the beginning of October. Oscar and the young lady (sorry we forgot your name) behind the desk were very friendly and inviting! Upon arrival, we HAD to have a "frosty adult beverage" to commemorate the occasion, so we checked out the cute little bar inside, just beside the lobby. The staff in there, were also great. Charlie, the lady attending the bar, was informative and held good conversation. The room was extremely clean and we had an amazing view of Sims Park. Can't wait to be back in town! Next time though... It may have to be The Kings Suite we get! I'm sure that's an experience in itself!?! Thank you to all of the staff! Until we meet again...

We are visiting friends in Florida and wanted to find a place that was not crowded with tourists and traffic. We came upon New Port Richey and the Hacienda in a random search and struck gold. This historic hotel was nicely restored and the staff were so personable and welcoming. Oscar was our ambassidor at the Hacienda and he was great. The rooms were decent and there were spacious and beautiful common areas inside and outside. We ate breakfast on the patio and it was so peaceful, as it is adjacent to a nice town park. The hotel is situated in the heart of New Port Richey, so there are lots of places to walk and explore. If your visiting Florida and want to find a place away from the crowds and traffic, this is a great option. I have added photos of the surrounding park adjacent to the hotel.

Our stay at The Hacienda was a truly wonderful experience! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were very, very nice people. Oscar and Charlie were very attentive in making sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed learning from them about the story behind this beautiful historic hotel. They add alot of charm to the hotel! Our stay was very memorable and we’re already making plans for another stay!

Very rich history to the area that it is in.
Very friendly staff members for check in and even the bar location.
Beds were super comfortable, bathroom was very wonderful as well, shower is a stand in and can only fit one person at a time but other then that it was a very delightful stay.
Walls are very thin though only downside to the hotel sadly, Sims Park has an event going on and it felt like it was literally in the room I was at I could hear and feel everything. I could also hear the people in the next room over having the time of their life as well.
Parking is kinda horrible as well they only have seven spots after that you have to park at the side parking lot but good luck if there is an event at the park then you'll be parking far away and walking to the hotel.
Other than that very very gorgeous hotel!

By far, this is one of the most extraordinary historic hotels at which my husband and I have ever stayed. Staff members, Oscar, Kathy, Chloe, Heather, Charlee, Tabitha, Brandon, Donna, Patrick, and several others, treated us as royalty. Their professionalism, hospitality, and attention to details truly made our stay a wonderful experience. It is rare to find this type of hospitality at other modern hotels.
The food at the hotel restaurant, Sasha's On The Park, is delicious. The cheesecake dessert was divine! We were served some of our favorite wines and liqueurs.
Most of all, the ambiance of the restored hotel is magnificent. Mr. Gunderson restored a historical gem. Its rich history and fine craftsmanship truly take visitors back in time to memorable Hollywood actors, other famous people, and beautiful architecture. We loved our visit and will certainly plan future stays at the Hacienda Hotel in New Port Richey, Florida.

The Hacienda Manager arranged a tour for a group of 20 for the TOWA organization along with lunch. The history of the beautiful hotel was quite intriguing and lunch was delicious. The Florida Salad was huge and bursting with shrimp and an array of beautiful vegetables. The citrus dressing was the icing on the cake. The hotel is a hidden gem in New Port Richey. Highly recommend.
