MacArthur Center

I LOVEEEE this mall. I've made so many childhood memories here. The store selection could be better, but it's got great restaurants, an awesome movie theater AND A LUSH!!!!! Oh, and it looks AWESOME at Christmas time. Highly recommend this mall. It's HIGHLY underrated and deserves more love. PLEASE GO SUPPORT THIS MALL!!!

My son and I took the grandchildren to the playground and played for a couple of hours. Everything was so nice and clean. The other children were very respectful, and the kids that played together played very very well.

This is a clean but dying mall. The reason I gave them 5 stars is because of their epic Schindler elevators. Also as you can see they have a very clean toilet.

Now in the twilight of life, this mall is full of memories for us. Johnny Rockets is stuck open. We go often for a quiet burger. Oh and plenty of parking these days!

Shop Bath & Body Works is the best place to buy fragrance, gifts, body & bath products👍

I really enjoyed the mall. Especially Dillard's. I love the whole experience. The associates treat you like they really appreciate and respect you. They are patient and ready to serve.

This way childhood mall and it was the best. Sad to hear it may be closing. Check it out while you can!

I enjoyed my time at this mall, it offers 3 levels of stores and entertainment. The mall has a variety of brands to choose from. The mall is bright and clean has lots of options for getting around such as escalators, stairs and even elevators. There is also a movie theater and food court on the third level. At the time when I visited there was a mini art gallery in the mall, I’m not sure if this is a year round feature. I thought that was pretty cool though. You have to pay for parking here so keep that in mind. I caught an Uber since my hotel was nearby.

Although the guard told us that MacArthur Center already was closed when we showed up there at 7:30 tonight, it was a blessing in disguise. It probably helps to control crowds by closing a little earlier. However, we saw several businesses there from the street that we liked. One is California Pizza Kitchen, and we like the whole wheat crust pizzas offered there. We’ll just have to head back there earlier tomorrow while the center is still open!

Clean theaters. Never had any stale popcorn... Maybe too much popcorn. Lol. My permanent movie stop. 🎥 🍿 😁

We really had a great time, beautiful weather and fun strolling on the Granby.

Loved the enjoyment of Urban site seeing, dining, sit & sip a while in your "NY City's" style nostalgia...

And Wow! So many things to do and see, with Movie Theatre, Shops, Eatery, Walking, Biking/Motor Scooter's, Museums, Historic Cultural festivals & Small businesses, and much much more...

Will deff be back real soon! 😂

We rated your establishment 5 star's because even though the atmosphere is very Metro NY & DC style.
It compliments Norfolk Ghent & Granby good vibes nostalgia, of living a lifestyle, Ya don't need a vacation from...😜

Beautiful mall with lots of stores on three levels. A nice place to shop, walk or sit with a cup of coffee and people watch.

Believe it or not I work at Abercrombie Fitch when they first opened MacArthur Center back in 1998 or 7 something like that. I loved it then I love it now absolutely fantastic reminds me of the malls and Dubai. I mean just look at the ceiling look how gorgeous it is

Had a great time! It was cold but so much fun! When we got there showed our QR code and got our wristband and skates. They did give one of us 2 left skates but took it right back and got the right one. The benches were clean and everyone put their things neatly so others could share benches to be 6 ft apart and safe. The rink wasnt too crowded and had enough room to maneuver around. Wearing the mask the whole time was the hardest part I literally couldnt breathe even being outside. I don't think they should require a mask on the ice only in the waiting areas but other than that the experience was great! My legs hurt 🥴 but so much fun!

Three level mall. What's to say?
OK for Mall walking if you are in the downtown area. Have to pay for parking.

The 3rd level has a play area for young children. Ample parking. Some of the stores are unfortunately closing their doors.

Went to a book signing for Yasmine Charles at Barnes and Nobles. The book was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. She's an excellent author and presenter. The refreshments were good and the parking was plentiful and cheap. Had a great time

Nice outdoor Ice skating location. Easy to find and easy to purchase tickets on line. Lots of seating available and plenty of staff to help out.

This mall has had its ups and downs, but recently, I would say they are experiencing an up time.

There are certainly new and interesting stores with more attention to the art/creative community. More small businesses, which is a plus, who are friendly, as expected for the business owners in the area.
