I have been a couple of times now! The first time was on opening day and the food was just as incredible then, as it is today! They have delicious salsa flights which (pictured) are a peanut, mango/fruit and an avocado salsa. They are all so delicious! Their nachos with the blackened chicken is a favorite and their pulled beef tacos are topped with a savory sauce and cheese that will leave you wanting more!! They also have daily specials, lots of tasteful margarita options and their staff is attentive and helpful! If you are yet to try this place, I recommend going today!

Just WOW! Food is excellent, service is excellent. The Mexican cheesecake dessert is AMAZING! Everything we ordered was very good. Very friendly nice people and great food. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu!

Hands down 5 stars all around. This is what Farmville needed. Fresh and creative food and drinks that make you want to come back to see what's on the menu next week.

Consistent great service and great food. The daily specials are creative and well executed; the core menu is varied and well composed. Cocktails are superb, beer selection is top notch. As our cousins in England say, this place is tip-top.

Very pleasurable experience.

Wow! I LOVE this place! We were so excited to find a different kind of restaurant among all this Southern cooking (aka fried food). There are vegetarian choices, tacos, burgers and great drinks! They even have Black Butte Porter from our home state, Oregon! The owner bragged that there isn’t a freezer in the place, so everything is fresh! It’s only been open 6 months! I hope everyone stops by to keep this great restaurant OPEN for many years!

Amazing establishment. Owner tended to our needs personally. He was an expert in his drinks. Well balanced and delicious. We went back to our hotel and left the rooftop bar to come back to this establishment because the drinks were that much better. Food was delicious. All staff were extremely attentive. If you're in town stop here and order one of the specials.

McKay Burger was great. Perfect medium rare fresh beef. Potatoes and goat cheese pancakes excellent.

Burr-jitas are on point. Anything with chorizo cheese sauce is probly worth getting.

Panna cotta a great finish.

When I saw that the legendary David Hennessy reviewed this place I knew I had to. The best source of tacos and microbrews in town. Attentive service and a tasteful crowd.

My son got into Longwood University so we wanted to check out the area a little bit more this was 1 of the top places the locals talked about we stopped here for lunch and we were not at all disappointed my son ordered tacos and cotija fries and I ordered the pulled beef nachos they were both amazing.
The star however for us was our dessert Dulce Leche Panna Cotta
It was smooth and creamy and delicious.
But the way the staff is great there was one gentleman there serving and bartendering and one chef in the kitchen "ON A SATURDAY" They still managed to get our food out fast and keep our drinks full.
Definitely a good local kept secret.
Next time your in Farmville give them a try.

Unique texmex with a great vibe. Try the peanut or fruit salsa. Jalapeno cucumber margharita is killer.

I could not have had a better experience:
--The staff was super polite and kind and clearly cared about not only the quality of the food but also of the presentation and the experience that I had over-all.
--The food was superb! Tasty, healthy, lovely. I look forward to trying the other items on the menu. And the dessert pudding is to die for!! Pudding! Go figure... it was amazing.
--The experience was most satisfying! When I mentioned that I never enjoyed Tequila, the owner said, "Well I take that as a challenge!" and asked what I did enjoy. I told him how I loved bourbon and scotch and he suggested that I try a special Tequila that is loved by scotch drinkers. Wow! I was blown away. I can now say that I appreciate Tequila.

My husband and I had drinks and dinner at this unique restaurant in Farmville after completing the bike trail ride. The cocktails were well mixed and delicious prepared by Bill the owner. My husband had a burger with the special house made potato pancakes. I enjoyed the fish tacos. Both were so tasty. I certainly will return the next time we are in town.

Let me explain something to you, if you are ever in Farmville, Virginia you must try one19 - Tastefully Off-Center. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all outstanding.

This is an awesome place! I can't say enough great things about it! The food was absolutely phenomenal and the margaritas are outstanding! We enjoyed the salsa flight as well as the pulled beef tacos. My husband had the portobello mushroom tacos, which were fantastic! The atmosphere and service were also top notch! We will definitely be returning! Don't miss out!!!

My husband and I ate here enroute back home from a road trip. We had 4 small children 5 and under. They were amazing with us and the kids. The food was great. The mocktails had quirky names and the mockarita was tasty. Our server was one of the best and most accommodating we've experienced. An added bonus was the house/owner made hot sauces. Overall, this was a stellar place and has our endorsement.

Very nice little spot for drinks and dinner. We started off with drinks. I had the Firewater, my wife had the BAHMAH, and a friend had the Where There is Smoke. Bill answered some questions on the drinks and was very helpful in making selections. All the drinks were great.

For appetizers, we had the Guacamole and Potato Pancakes. The chips with the guacamole were clearly made fresh. Both appetizers were good and disappeared quickly. The potato pancakes comes with an aioli that is really good.

For the mains, we had the special burger (1/2 pound, bacon and housemade pimento cheese) with handcut fries and the special mahi mahi tacos. Again, everything was great.

Service was excellent by Bill, who I believe was the owner.

Overall, a very good experience and I would definitely recommend to give them a try!

This restaurant is a Farmville Gem! The jackfruit tacos were amazing. Selection on home made salsas was expansive and tasty. Best of all, in addition to delicious looking cocktails, this restaurant had a great “mocktail” menu. Highly recommend any of their beverages with the prickly pear purée. Service was impeccable. Our lovely server was fun, friendly, attentive, and happy to relay our myriad of bizarre questions to the kitchen- e.g. I have a bike ride tomorrow so can the tacos be wrapped in foil to fit in my jersey pocket? Highly recommend! Will come here again so I can taste more from the menu.

My wife and I just left there from date night and, let me tell you, we'll be back very soon! The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. The owner was as friendly as the margs were delicious and the beer was cold. The tacos were indescribably tasty and eating right on Main Street in Farmville creates an awesome experience! Go. Go now.
