Vaiden Inn

Vaiden Inn is beautiful and the area is so tranquil which makes for a peaceful stay. There is a nice wooded path to explore on the property behind the house. Closer to the woods there is a large designated area for a campfire, with seating. Closer to the Inn there is a covered patio seating area arranged next to a useable grill. Nice for family gatherings. A lot of interesting things to delight in inside and outside the Inn. There is also a restaurant (Martha's Kitchen) across the street where the inn is located; the food is delicious. Jessica (owner) is a wonderful host and a pleasure to work with. We had accidentally left some items at the Inn after our stay and she was so kind to take the time to pack and ship the items to our location. We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others that are in the area or are looking to explore New Kent. It is a lovely place to explore!

We had our wedding reception here and it was beyond amazing. Jess was far beyond amazing with all the amenities and making sure that we were taken care of. The property is beautiful and in amazing shape. We had everything we needed and then some. Everyone at the reception couldn't stop talking about how amazing the property and house was. If you need a place to stay or host an event for anything you shouldn't hesitate to book this place. We even got a card congratulating us on our marriage! I cant thank Jess enough for the hospitality she showed us and how easy it was to book the place. In closing if you need a place to stay for any reason in the New Kent area look no further then here.

One of the only places we could find for miles to stay when my husband & I drove in for a wedding. It was much more affordable & ideal than a hotel. The quaint, quirky space made for such a fun but relaxing evening after long days filled with events. Thankful for all the accommodations.

We had such and amazing and memorable time here. It was just lovely!!! Hostesses were so wonderful and sweet and really knew how to make us comfortable. This house has so much amazing history it’s truly unbelievable. We enjoyed the area and all the lovely wineries and breweries so close by to check out. I look forward to when we get to go again!!!

Very hospitable owners. They made us feel welcome and like family from the moment we booked our stay. The house is old and full of character, and the rooms are creative, clean, and comfortable. The food also was great, so what else is there to say? We’ll be going back for sure.

We had a lovely stay at the Vaiden Inn. The rooms were so beautifully decorated and the house overall was truly a historic gem! The innkeeper/owner was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING as well! We will be back!!

This beautiful historic Inn is perfectly situated in New Kent County. The Inn offered any amenities we could have needed for our stay. This is a must stay for anyone that will be in the area!

What a lovely little Inn! We enjoyed several nearby wineries and a romantic evening at the Inn for our Anniversary and everything was just right. Very comfortable and well appointed room, nice, firm bed and easy communication and check-in. Loved it! Thank you!

If you enjoy b&bs that are historic buildings, then you should enjoy Vaiden. The building is (if I recall correctly) from the late 1700's and has that old home charm. The rooms are pretty spacious, and the decor is ecclectic, with modern ammenities. Everything was scrupulously clean, and it felt very homey. Snacks, sodas, bottled water and kuerig use are provided, and our suite had a microwave and minifridge. Bonnie (the proprietor) has tried to anticipate any need a guest might have, and is very accomodating. Breakfast for the 2 days we stayed was nicely varied.

If you are ever remotely close to the Vaiden Inn, do yourself a favor and stop in. Kim and Jess are the kindest hosts and the property is beautiful - acres upon acres to explore in an area rich with long American history. When my RV was broken down nearby, K&J extended their home and their kindness so generously. This is a special place run by special people. Go here.

Location is tranquil with lots of space for family. Easy access to both Williamsburg and Richmond.

Really nice Inn to stay at. The owner is great; the rooms are nice. This is a historic Inn that has been beautifully rebuilt by the owner.
