TownePlace Suites by Marriott Suffolk Chesapeake

This was a great weekend stay. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and breakfast options were varied (from Bagels to Oatmeal to Bacon, Eggs and Waffles). I only had oatmeal with walnuts and cranberries, but it was hot and fresh! The rest of the family enjoyed the waffles, bacon, and eggs. Overall, this was a very good experience, and absolutely NO complaints 👌🏾 ☺
I recommend this location for a weekend trip or an extended stay as it has separate bedrooms and sitting areas.

I love this hotel so much I have stayed over six times in the past 60 days. The ladies at the front desk have a great attitude and a beautiful smile and make you feel like family. They are smart and very helpful in every situation that may arise.

I had a great experience being here, but the dask attendant Rita acts like she's being bothered everytime I or my wife asks questions, it seems like she doesn't want to provide customer service she just gives you a cold vibe almsot like shes a clock watcher waiting to get off worrk, not an employee. It's ok though, not everyone can deal with customer service and I being a manager of an establishment I would suggest removing her from the front line at the counters. She would be best in the back not talking to paying customers. Respectfully 👍

Only stayed for one night, so I cannot speak to the extended stay experience that this hotel offers. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. The pool looked nice even though we did not get a chance to use it. All of the equipment in the fitness center worked! Breakfast was plentiful, hot, and the dining area was kept clean. Would stay again.

Jessica the front desk supervisor and front desk staff have been amazing to my family. We had to find a place to call home for a month while our house closes and the Townplace suites has taken care of us. Every morning we’re greeted by the staff with professionalism and anything we’ve need help with they’ve came through.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
USAA put us here due to an unfortunate water event at our home. We were displaced with only a few days before Christmas, with pets. They were very respectful, understanding, caring, and welcoming.
The room is clean and inviting, really have no complaints. House keeping is on their game and doing a wonderful job. The room smelled sanitary and soo clean. It was a nice refreshing experience compared to places we have been.

Shout out to Jessica from the lobby for all the giant dog breed love. She was so friendly and loved our babies like we do. It was so nice to find a hotel that didnt have a breed/weight restriction.

Every staff that we have encountered has been absolutely wonderful and welcoming. Truly hope that they are appreciated as employees and paid well.

GREAT hotel!! Nice room, nice gym, decent breakfast, great staff. Nice location, tons of parking, near plenty of restaurants. Seems like a safe area.

It was a wonderful experience. I was a hurricane evacuation, we had 8 people and five dogs. They made an exception for me due to the circumstances and allow me to have my dogs in. They did a room check walkthrough before we checked in, then we did another walkthrough on checkout to keep us all honest. But the staff was truly great and very helpful. They kept me comfortable during the storm!

I have been staying at this hotel for a month now. The hotel is not high end one but it has all the necessities I need. Clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are all very friendly and professional, like Xander who I met from Day One, and who helped my a lot since then. They responded to my concerns quickly. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a place to stay in this area.

The rooms are great!! Big fridge, oven, dishwasher, sink all included with queen size bed. Everything one could need is within 5-10 min drive. (Walmart, fast food restaurants as well as sit down) Staff has been extremely courteous!! A+++

We have been here for almost a month during our move up north. The staff is amazing! They have made our stay stress free and so worth being here. The rooms are nice, up to date and the real winner...... CLEAN!!!

This place was a delight and very nice staff absolutely no issues whatsoever with the facility itself. I do have an ongoing minor issue they double charged me for our pet deposit but I believe that was a miscommunication between me and the platform I use to make a reservation.

The room was nice and clean. Loved the little kitchen in there. And the continental breakfast was laid out nicely and the food was pretty good. The location was nice. I liked that it wasn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

I stayed in a suite on the third floor, and it was very clean and comfortable. The room was quiet, and had great internet speed for my business emails. The staff was curteous and efficient. Towneplace Suites Suffolk is my preferred long term stay when I am working in the Norfolk area.

I was in a room on the second floor. I came in very late at night and the hotel staff was so inviting. I was able to have my dogs with me and the staff was so friendly to them. I really enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable and pleasant place to stay as a home away from home. The staff are friendly and everything is so clean. When we travel again this is the hotel I will be calling for sure.
