Norfolk Police & Fire Museum

This museum sits beside McArthur Mall in a side street. Norfolk is a city that has been around since the 1600's with the police and fire going back almost as far.

Besides exhibits, there are Norfolk Fire-Rescue souvenirs, t-shirts and patches for sale.

This place is run by volunteers and all profits go toward running the museum.

Great collection of historical items from 1800s through present of Norfolk's Police and Fire Service. Knowledgeable staff gives thorough and entertaining tour of exhibits.

Me and my wife bought some t-shirt from this place our way of commemorating the history of the place, Norfolk is one of the oldest and historic place as I have known.

Very interesting museum. Ray was great in showing us around and explaining all the history.

Great museum, it was very well put together and Retired Ray Simmons did a great job.

Visited years ago. Seems as it is temporarily closed. I would check before visiting. 11/11/2022

The tour guide is a walking history book. So much information in one little place. Will go back again.

Wish they have more volunteers in order to keep the museum open on more days. Such an awesome piece of history in the heart of Norfolk. Would love the chance to go in and visit. But the outside has a few items to view also.

Smaller than i expected took like 5-10 min to walk around. Very friendly staff. Park outside on a meter, dont bother parking at the mall. Wont take you long to walk around inside.

Wasn't open couldn't enter, said it was open in their web site. Drove there for nothing wasted gasoline
