This Gelato is amazzzzzzing! I tried the strawberry vegan option and it was beyond good. Such a great place and friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent little gelato place tucked away in a strip mall in Pembroke Pines. I also saw a number of other desserts there, including crepes, cakes, and an assortment of baked goods.

Cozy little spot where you can sit down in comfort and enjoy your dessert. Big props to the interior decor as well.

Vaniglia & Cioccolato was opened by Italian Stefano Quilli. After attending Gelato University in Rome, he opened his first gelato shop in Italy in 2003. His goal was to come to the United States so in 2009 to raise funds, he sold his shop and opened Vaniglia & Cioccolato in Pembroke Pines.

As you walk up to the shop you can see the unique Gelato ATM on the front of the building. It features a picture of the owner's son. it is so cool that even when the shop is closed you can get gelato from the machine. The inside of the shop is darling. It transports you to Italy with paintings made by the owners wife, pictures of Rome. and cozy red and white tables. Large cases are filled with gelato but they also sell freshly made crepes, assorted pastries, candies, and other treats.

I love indulging in Italian gelato when I can find it. Gelato is lower in fat than ice cream as well as creamier and smoother. It is served at a warmer temperature than ice cream so you are better able to taste the more intense flavors and it's not scooped but served with a spade. With so many flavors of gelato here, it was hard to choose. The had the standard Italian flavors you would expect to find like hazelnut, Nutella, and stracciatella, an Italian vanilla with chocolate shavings along with other flavors like mint chocolate, caramel, mixed berries, strawberry cheesecake, mango, birthday cake, pistachio, and my choice, a small cup of refreshing mocha coffee. If you are enjoying gelato with several people you can get different sized styrofoam coolers packed with gelato to go starting at $12. If you care about what goes into your body like I do, you will be pleased to know that the gelato is made with all natural ingredients, fresh fruit, and is coloring and preservative free.

I loved my visit to this charming gelateria. While we were enjoying our frosty treats we got to watch the crepes being made. The Nutella and strawberry one was right up my alley. I have to come back for that next time I am in the area

Delicious gelato, great variety, Pistachio seems to the the most popular. I got the Hazelnut one, I am a big fan of Nutella, even though they have Nutella Gelato, I got the Hazelnut one, it tasted better, IMO 😎

Gaby is great! She recommended me the strawberry cheesecake flavor gelato and it was delicious. Crepes are also a must!

This is the #1 place to go for homemade gelato. It's as delicious as what we had in Italy. Multiple flavors to choose from but I missed my usual coffee flavor this time. They also have pastries and beverages.
The place is clean and adorably decorated. If it's after hours they have a machine to serve you outdoors.

Ordered some
treats via Uber Eats so i can only comment on the food, not the atmosphere but everything was delicious. The tiramisu has very good flavor, creamy… and the cookies are good as well! cant wait to visit this place in person

this is one of my absolute most favorite places to go when i’m craving something sweet. the crepes are amazing and brielle had amazing service and made my experience all the better

First time here and will definitely be back again. Staff was very courteous and helpful and more than willing to provide samples of the different flavors of gelato. There were a whole lot of Italian gellato flavors to choose from. The names give it a very authentic feel
(Caution for vegetarians to stay away from vanilla since it may contain eggs.)

I loved the nociotella and pistachio.
The cups look small but they really pack in a lot of gelato in them (that's a plus). Prices are very reasonable for the cups and also for the take home containers.

They also have a lot of dessert items likes crepes with Nutella.

The environment inside was small, cozy and very welcoming. There is a 24 hour gelato atm that dispenses gelato anytime of day or night.

I would definitely be going back with the family again.

The quality of the ice cream is excellent. They have a variety of flavors and I love that they sell different size of containers to take home.
You can drink a coffee, eat waffles or ice cream.
When I want a treat, I came to this place!

I still remember me waiting for a ride at the west fork plaza after watching a movie and walking in to this new place I've never seen before (I practically lived in the regal teather every weekend). There were only two folks behind the counter which they later revealed to be the owners.

I saw many delicious flavors but the one that really caught my attention was passion fruit, I been living in Florida for many years and I got used to eating passion fruit ice-cream in my country (Dominican Republic) so finally being able to do so once again brought me genuine joy!. I spoke briefly to the owners about how happy I was knowing that this place was here and that I'll be coming back again and again.

Moved a bit farther south and I still bring all my friends and loved ones to this fantastic place. Even when we are not watching a movie I can't help myself to have at least one scoop of the most amazing gelato ever. I hold great memories and laughs with many people I've come across with and have taken them here.

Here are some pros and cons:

+Great location ( placed in a plaza with a movie teather, pharmacy, local restaurants, supermarket, etc) so you can cool off after any activity.
+Superb service (I was attended by the owners more than a few times before the new crew came in, but they all have treated me nothing less than amazing)
+Good portions
+Flavor Variety (so much deliciousness in one place)
+Food quality (pure flavor)
+Opened till late on weekends (for late night cravings)
+Added a quick buy machine outside
+Near 3-5 mins of I-75

+/- only one location in SFL (as far as I know)
+/- gets super packed at night in weekends
+/- Machine outside has only default flavors (that's why you need to get inside for the real deal 😊)

Yeah, I have no cons to speak of as every visit has been a delight. Overall great place to have your sweet cravings fulfilled.

Amazing gelato!
I usually only try nocciola (hazelnut) and pistachio so can only talk about these two flavors, and would definitely recommend!
Photos show espresso (very Italian style btw- super short and intense).

Always room for a sweet treat! I tried the Birthday cake and Vanilla bean Gelato. So creamy and delicious!! Also got a Strawberry crepe with Nutella! Yummy!!

Gaby prepared it at the moment we ordered it, the fruits were fresh and the flavor was amazing.

This place is a GEM!! Is clean and beautiful. Gaby provides the best customer service and you have to try the cappuccino she makes, AMAZING! Also, super recommended the pistachio cannoli and the lobster tail with Nutella, she’ll warm it up for you and can add a scoop of ice cream with it. Take a few minutes to appreciate the art on the walls and the music. Súper relaxing.

Delicious gelato - I ordered the regular cup where they give you two flavors. Got the strawberry cheesecake and the passion fruit. The passion fruit was very tarty. You are able to sample flavors before you order, therefore I sampled vanilla with nutella, the passion fruit and one other flavor. Plenty of flavors to order from, and you can order in a cup or a cone. Crepes are available to be purchased as well.

They also have the 24/7 gelato ATM machine outside of the business for when they are closed. There is a table with two chairs outside and plenty of seating inside with three chairs to a table.
