They were very helpful in helping me to find the perfect ring for my fiancee and also helped in adding my own little touch to it. 5/02/23 Update. I had another ring sized which turned out fabulous. Perfect size, the band was thick and beautiful. I had a pendant I broken they fixed it quickly and you can't even tell it was broken. Very honest, helpful, knowledgeable and great people.

Heather and Jeff provided phenomenal service at a great price!! They worked with me to design the perfect ring for my now fiancé and did a great job resetting her great grandmother’s diamond. I was nervous to take in such a treasured family heirloom, but Heather and Jeff quickly made me feel very comfortable with them and trusting of them! The three stone ring came out great and my fiancé is extremely happy with it! Heather stayed in constant communication and was even able to rush a custom mounting in under a week to stick to our original timeline! I would highly recommend Mid Continental Gems for anyone looking for any type of jewelry and I will come back for all of my future jewelry purchases!!!!

I took my great grandmother's ring here to have the diamond re-set for an engagement ring, and I'm very glad I did. Terry and Marie are knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and fair. They accommodated my design requests every step of the way. Even after I got the ring back and it wasn't exactly what I had hoped, they adjusted the design and resized it for free!

They are usually very busy, so if possible, give yourself a few weeks to get something custom made. Cannot recommend them highly enough though, the low prices, high quality, and customer service make any amount of waiting worth it to me!

I know people normally write reviews when things go very well or very poorly. However, I really felt that this needed to be said. Mid Continental will hold a special place in my heart for many years to come. My fiance bought my engagement ring from Terry Sr. back in Nov. 2014. I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't have a great first experience with Mid Continental - I didn't have a great experience. However, I feel that a business truly defines itself by the way they handle difficult situations. When Terry Jr. and his wife Heather took over the business mid year this year, they strove to make my situation a good one. They were determined to earn my business back and leave a good experience outcome in my mind. I'm happy to say that today, they have. Terry and Heather were by no means obligated to work with me. Technically, legally, they didn't have to do anything for me. However, that was not the approach they took. They took a loss to make my situation right. And when that still wasn't enough, they went even further, truly above and beyond, to make my fiance and I lifelong customers.

If you had asked me three months ago if I would ever go back to Mid Continental, I would have told you no. Today, I'm happy to say that we bought our wedding bands there last night and intend to go to them for all future jewelry needs.

I can not thank Terry Jr and Heather enough for bearing with me and making this experience wonderful.

My ring I got from Kay's Jewelers almost 15 years ago. I always kept up with the cleanings for the warranty. Within the last 3 years I have had it repaired 4 times by Kay's and every time I got it back I would either lose the same stone or another one would come out, to the point where they said my warranty was voided and I was paying out of pocket for the repairs. The last time I had worn it one day after they had fixed it at Kays and another stone fell out....so frustrated. My husband after that refused to get it fixed anymore and I thought this might be hopeless. I really love this ring so I decided maybe it's not me maybe it's just not getting fixed right. And what do you know I was right! The gentleman at Mid Continental Gems said that whoever I had taken it to before did not fix the post right for the diamond to stay in place. I did not tell him where I had gotten it fixed at but he will know now because of this review. The amazing thing is I paid over $125 dollars each time at Kays to have it repaired and he only charged me $31.00 Wow!!! I will never go anywhere else so if you want your jewelry repaired right at a honest fair cost this is the place to go. I also will be back because they have some really nice pieces on display that will make nice gifts for my loved ones❤

My wife and I love this shop and I absolutely could not recommend a better jewelry store. Very knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely great people run this store. They did outstanding work on my wife's wedding ring and on several occasions gave appraisals and advise on some various items we had brought in and I wouldn't take scrap gold and sterling anywhere else.

These people are incredible! Every single experience I have had at MCG has been positive. You CANNOT beat their prices and quality! You can get beautiful custom jewelry here for even less money than that junky mall quality crap. Very kind staff, I would recommend them to anyone!

The owners are very knowledgeable and there is no better place to buy a diamond ring in Milwaukee. Go to any other jewelry store and pick out what you want. Then go to MidCon and they will be 30% or more lower in cost
