As a female I wanted a range where I didn’t feel “alone” but I knew the shooters are vetted. All shooters must register to fire a weapon at Talon. There will be no “drive by” practice.

Membership is definitely in the budget.

I could go on and on but I highly recommend you go out and see for yourself.

I looked at all the ranges in the area and I am very happy that I choose Talon.
The people there know their stuff. So friendly and helpful. Great shooting areas and lots of great rentals. They offer class for first time shooter or something to improve your skills. Well this was my two cents. I'm off to the range. Happy shooting.

Friendly staff, excelent outdoor facility. I used lane 15 pistol range with steel targets, Awesome setup. I will return when I am back in town!

Been twice, had a wonderful experience both times. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, even when the pro shop is packed and an event is going on. They make you feel like you’re the only person there. Rented a rifle (AR-15 w/ red dot and AR-15 w/ Sig Sauer 1x22 scope) and two handguns (Glock 22 Gen 4, M&P 380 Bodyguard, .38 special, and a S&W 9mm) both times. Purchased all ammo and targets at the pro shop. Loved it so much the second time, I became a member! Can’t wait till next time.

I've been to many ranges outdoor/indoor and used to belong to an expensive conservation club and this is by far the most well laid out range I've ever been to. I love the fact that every shooter/group gets their own lane. There's nothing more annoying than getting hit with 7.62 brass from the guy to your left throwing lead down range rapid fire and now he can do that without inconveniencing anyone else with hot brass or constant concussive blasts. Will definitely be coming back.

Zach McMillan, the man behind the counter today, was very courteous. Arriving to shoot some reloads I made last week, I realized I had misplaced my cell phone. I asked if I could use the office phone to call my wife to see if it was still in the house somewhere. If not, perhaps it's on I-10 somewhere. Zach offered his cell phone to allow me to contact my wife. She didn't answer so I left a voice mail. About 45 minutes into my practice, Zach arrives at my range station to inform me not to worry. My wife returned the call (on his phone) and said she had found the phone. Zach graciously came to my shooting station to inform me. That is terrific customer service and I'm very grateful to Zach. It put my mind at ease to know the phone wasn't lost, just forgotten. Zach is an outstanding young man, eager to please. Thank you!!

Love the place, the staff are great, super chill as long as you are being safe and respectful. Love the 400 yard range. Hope one day Talon will have an even longer range because I don’t want any other experience than the consistent excellence I get at Talon.

Well laid out range with all the essentials you would need. Impressive amount of safety considerations and rules that make Talon a great place to spend the day.

Went to Talon twice so far, both times were exceptional. They offer more than almost any range I have ever been to. There are courses that you can sign up for and take that are taught by excellent instructors, if you want to just come out and shoot your own firearms they have a very wide variety of stations for all firearms types as well as ways to suite the individual shooters. I dealt primarily with Stephanie Butler who was very informative as well as being well versed in her field, excellent customer service and will no doubt be back next time I'm in Florida.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and good selection in the store. This is where I go to get firearms transferred. It's way better than the big box stores.
I took my hunter's safety course at this range and the classrooms and range are really nice too.

I took the Basic 1/CCW course and can’t say enough about the professionalism of the trainers. The course was informative and the instructors were very hands-on, demonstrating all aspects of a gun (both in the classroom, on the range, and during scenarios). I highly encourage everyone to go to Talon for training; they were top notch!

I had a perfect experience at your facility on 6/16. I had guests in town from Orlando and they wanted to go shoot some of their guns. We dodged some rain storms and found a nice window in the afternoon to put some lead down range on lane 1. We were very impressed with the entire operation, including your staff that were knowledgeable and courteous. I will continue to tell people about the positive experiences to be had with every visit.

To simply say that Talon Tactical is staffed by professionals who not only teach like pros, but present themselves and train like pros would be a gross understatement. Any question that a gun newbie or a seasoned shooter could fathom of, they can not just answer, but show you how! They treated my mom and sisters with upmost respect, myself included. The training is presented seriously and provides oodles of information for any learner to take on and absorb. From classroom, to simulations, to the range, Talon Tactical is your go-to buddy to suit any of your needs.

One of the best ranges I have seen. Very professional staff with very detailed, informative classes. If you want just a simple day trip to the range, the prices are very good. Membership doesn't break the bank either. It is well kept and safety is paramount. I am very happy to be able to shoot here. Blows everything out of the water in comparison.

Can not say enough good things about this place. Staff is ALWAYS professional. I am used to gun shops/ranges being very condescending to someone of my age and stature, NOT HERE. I frequently bring my friends to come shoot with me and every single time we have been treated professionally and have had a great time. They have a number of different ranges from skeet shooting to competition bays to long range to your standard 15/25/50 yds. If you have a gun and are safe with it, this is your place.

I come here almost weekly and would highly recommend Talon Range! Bar-none the best experience I've ever had shooting. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and does their best to keep everything running safely and smoothly. Far better than the indoor ranges I frequented back home.

We had family from out of town that wanted to practice with their pistols, so our 3 families went out there to practice. We used two bays (there were 10 of us shooting) and we were pleasantly surprised at how the bays and berms were built, the shelters, fans and lighting in the bays were really nice, and when it got dark, the flood lights came on and were aimed at the targets.

Unlike the free range, this facility is extremely safe; each bay is protected by berms on both sides and in the back. I'm sure this place is super busy on the weekends, but this was a Friday afternoon and while there were others shooting, it wasn't extremely busy. We all really enjoyed the range and plan to use it again, both for practice and for classes.

Great experience shooting here. They require you to take a test about range safety before you shoot. I was originally annoyed by this, but after I thought about it, I am real happy they do this; some people need to take a safety course before shooting. You can print off the test and take it at home then bring it in before you shoot. The staff was helpful and friendly. I felt like I have been shooting there for years.

Highly recommend this establishment. This range is top notch. Extremely professional and the staff is just as nice as can be. It's a very nice environment to practice and a very safe range. This is the only place I will shoot and recommend to other shooters. Big thumbs up!!
