You can litterally smell the food from around the corner, that's what brought me here, and IM GLAD I CAME!
This place is the first seafood place I went into and the boat pulled up bring the GOODS! FRESH SEAFOOD!!
again....FRESH SEAFOOD LIVES HERE!!
VARIETY! This is a hidden gem in good Savannah, and I recommend the dungeness crab! And the conch was excellent! They also have fried foods wings, gizzards, tenders. They will also cook anything you order if you ask. Thanks guys, I will be back!!!

This is by far the best place I have found for hard shell crabs and the customer service is beyond words. Miss Anna is a wonderful person whi takes very good care of her customers!!! ❤ Highly recommend!!!

Recently went here on my 4th of July camping trip and decided to order the low country boil. It was really good and also getting it was amazing. The customer service there was really good. They took my order very respectfully and when I arrived it was already ready to go. Also the person who brought me my food was also very nice and when I asked for some more napkins she gladly ran inside and brought me some without any problems. I will definitely come back.

Great customer service. Quality of food was exceptional. During my personal experience I would say there was close to 25 cars pulling in and out at once. I could tell it was rush hour, and i managed to order 4 dozen large crabs with two shrimp dinners and a medium low country boil and be out of the parking lot with my delicous food in 20 minutes.

The crabs and shrimp are always fresh and delicious. Tge Staff is Amazing

Fresh seafood, cooked to order if you want. Great variety. Call ahead and keep trying because they are busy. Glad they don't handle the nasty phone while prepping my food. Worth the wait. Don't call on Monday, they are closed at the time of this review. Check the sign on their door or their Facebook page as hours and days of operation are subject to change.

Today was my first visit to Southside Shellfish and you did not disappoint. It was extremely busy and the customers waiting outside were very rude, but your team remained calm and courteous. I did have to wait awhile but it was expected and well worth it. I will definitely be back. YOU LADIES ROCK!

I am a regular, I love the great customer service. I believe I'd tried everything that they sell. Some of my favorites sell out fast. I have to call for them to save them for me. I love the Bake Potato Low Country Crab Boil, it is off the chain. The salads, crab pie, crab cakes, fried crabs, crab rice, red rice, yellow rice, dinners, and seafood is to die for. The Southside Shellfish is truly the place to get the best seafood ever!

Call ahead to avoid a wait, good lunch specials. This is my favorite place to get low country boil in savannah, although next time I may skip out on the steamed crab that's included. Food quality, preparation and cleanness = two thumbs up.

I had the fried whiting today from Shellfish. It was so very good, crispy and well seasoned. I've been going to this fish market for almost two years, as long as I've been in Savannah. They are great here. Fresh fish and seafood. On point with cleaning, filleting and whatever else you ask them to do with your fish. Excellent seafood salad. Good prices and they cater. Wonderful find.

10/19/2015 Went in Saturday to get fish and oysters. One of the employees was eating grilled salmon. I bought some had them to grill it oh my goodness it was perfect, tasty, juicy and grilled to perfection. I also bought a oyster dinner with steamed potatoes. Great and cooked to perfection. I have been going there for the past eight years and I do not regret it. I was glad when they opened up in the neighborhood because I had to go in town for fresh seafood. Going there today for some more grilled salmon and steamed potatoes.Thanks

Four of us ordered take out. We had never eaten here before. What a mistake. Everything was delicious. We all had fried fish and shrimp. We definitely will be coming here again!!

My favorite seafood restaurant. Always courteous and pleasant. Food is always tasty. I highly reccomend it.

Can't beat the quality and friendly service here. Pretty competitive rate on blue crab as well. 39 for 3 dozen good sized crab.

The BEST crabs. They NEVER LIE about the size of the crabs. Everyone is always ap sweet too.
