Boat Tree Marina

We go here every year for fathers day. This Marina is a one stop shop. Decent restaurant that is reasonably priced. Rentals serviced and ready to go. If you have your own boat park it here or can buy it here. They also do their own maintenance on site.

Absolutely loved it, will most definitely be returning, from the check in process and going over key point on pontoon in and out on the water 15 min. Kids had a blast seeing all the wildlife, will be returning in my birthday weekend with just adults and fishing rods for sure…

We rented a pontoon for the day and had an amazing time! Saw lots of gators on the river and a few manatees including a baby at Blue Springs.

Update - 8/1/2023
We rent a pontoon boat once or twice per year to ride up the St. John's River to enjoy the wildlife and swim in the springs. Boat Tree quickly became my favorite due to being able to book reservations online.

This trip we spotted dozens of gators and at least 3 manatees. Can't wait to go out again!

Had such a wonderful experience! We rented a pontoon for a half day, and it was such an easy check in process, maybe 15 minutes to go over the basics and we were on our way. Saw lots of wildlife, and had a relaxing river adventure. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice day on the river at affordable pricing.

This is the best and least know epic adventure in central Florida. Renting a pontoon boat and cruising up and down the St. John’s River is the foundation for a perfect day. The boats are clean and easy to use and the wildlife & views are spectacular…

I made a trip by boat to downtown Sanford and found out on arrival that they weren’t selling gasoline. It was after 5pm on a weekday and we’d have been stranded if it wasn’t for the kindness of the Boat Tree marina owner having his staff reopen the office and pumps for us! Good people willing to help others out!

I am a Freedom boat club member and can have a boat out of this location. Trips out of Sanford are always interesting. Turtles, alligators, and manatee. Drive up to Blue Springs. Ate at the Swamp House.

We placed a boat here in January while we worked to get it ready for the trip up the St Johns to Jacksonville. Cannot say enough good things about the experience. We ended up having engine work done and stayed on the boat several times. The place is clean, people are friendly, and it was an overall excellent experience. The service was done efficiently and economically.

Our little honey hole for renting a boat....go up river to the Swamp House Grill...on up to Blue Springs...then on up to Tube at Lake Beresford....always lots of wildlife and always a relaxing time.

****Update. First thing next morning we received a call with an apology and explanation regarding the miscommunication. I am pleased with their response and how well they handled the situation. They showed they are human and care about their customers. We are happy campers now!*** We are new to the marina. We were told we only needed to give then an hour notice to put our boat in the water. We called at 3pm today and 5pm when we showed up, our boat was no where to be found. We dialed their telephone to ask where we could get our boat and no one answered. We waited for over an hour. At the restaurant no one knew as they are not connected. Sad thing is that we don't even have an after hours number to call. Our group was very disappointed as we were so looking forward to our late evening ride. Apparently everyone there knows that they are very unresponsive (because we asked the people on the dock there). These people don't care. My first bad review ever!

What a great service department! I talked with Jennifer, the service manager. I explained how the bellows were leaking on our stern drive.
She said no problem. Bring it in. She told me they were 2 to 3 weeks out, as all marinas are very busy at this time of year.
She delivered on her promise, I had our boat back in two weeks.
They replaced all bellows and seals along with the lower shift cable.
Quality of work is excellent!!!

What an outstanding check in and rental process. The staff was outstanding!! The boat was in perfect condition, motor ran great! Clean and spotless. I can’t say enough positive about our experience. We will rent there again!!

My family and I rented from here for my daughter's birthday. The prices were reasonable the service was A1. The people we encountered were all very sweet. We had a great relaxing time.

I encourage you to check out the deli at the marina . My personal favorite is the belly buster hot dog but the Philly cheese steak is also very good. My father's boat is parked at the marina and has been for some time. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can recommend the tiny house vacation rental that is docked there and can be rented.

We rented a Pontoon boat this morning with our four boys and Grandma. Amazing experience, staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The boat was super clean and exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be back :)
