Had business in the area and pulled in to eat something different. Hole in the wall mom and pop place, but turned out to be quite good. Pleasantly pleased with our nan, tikka chicken masala, ans 65 chicken. Definitely recommend. The owner was super nice.

The food was very tastie, we tried their haleem and it reminded us of home. Highly recommended

I guess you have to know what you are looking for. Very large portions, fresh, great Indian food, recommend take out! The raita is so good.

Bay Leaf is an awesome restaurant. The food is outstanding. My wife and I went there for the first time last nite and we were blown away. The restaurant is not fancy, but the food and service are exceptional. Linga (the owner) is very personable and helpful. Bay Leaf is a hidden gem. Give it a try.

It has the best idlys in atlanta. And they recently started live panipuri which is amazing. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Most try place to have tasty and delicious Indian breakfast

I missed this place when I left Atlanta so I dropped in recently and its as good as ever. The owner is really nice and happy to provide recommendations on what to order when they aren't doing buffet. Give it a try if you want something simple but tastes delicious.

I always get two dishes what can I say fat girl at heart. The curry goat and curry shrimp are amazing. Consistently consistently delicious. And the prices are great compared to other Indian restaurants. Nothing to fancy but the owner and his wife n kids are very pleasant. I will continue to support once a week. I always look forward to my weekly visit. Delicious.

Food is excellent, well cooked with all required spices in balance. Ordered Goat briyani and chilly chicken today for dinner. Good for take away. Space is less for dining. Good for small groups. Feel like home with respect to minimum arrangements. Overall good place. Next to India Bazaar too, so will be good if you wanted to get Indian grocery as well..

My first time eating at this establishment was a wonderful experience. The man answered all of my questions, made suggestions, & even helped me serve my food. I will most definitely be back. He told me the optimal time to arrive. I love Indian food but am new to the area. My friend has never eaten it but wants to try it. I had to try for myself before I take him. The butter chicken was delicious as was the goat vindaloo. Yum!

Excellent Indian food. The Biryanis are delicious probably some of the best in Atlanta. It is a simple setup and people mostly pick up food I have seen. But we like to dine in as well. The owner is kind and nice and the food is lovely.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. I’ve been going here for almost 6 years now and it’s by far the best biriyani I’ve eaten. I have friends driving from Florida and Tennessee who make it a point to stop here for take out. The owner is a close friend at this point and he makes sure we really like the food. I’m so glad he’s back and the biriyani is back to the original bay leaf taste.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants! Delicious food and affordable. I order from here at least once a month and have yet to be disappointed. The restaurant itself isnt super fancy but makes up for it in its deliciousness.

I am me to the Atlanta/Dunwoody area and had a craving for some butter chicken. After looking for places near me, I decided to give Bay Leaf a try, and I'm happy I did. The flavors were wonderful. Those who have said it's not much to look at are correct, but this is a place you come for taste, not decor. It's kind of mom and pop, whole in the wall-ish. I ordered my food to go, and it was ready in about ten minutes and piping hot, so much so that I didn't have to warm it when I got home. The portion was generous. I ate just half of the rice and chicken and was plenty full. The sauce was rich, and the heat of the spice was great...enough to make your nose run, but not to set your mouth on fire. The price was also much cheaper than other Indian restaurants I've been to that weren't as flavorful. Overall, I would recommend it as a great take-home option.

Walked into a small mom and pop indian food and was treated to absolutely the best chicken tiki masala ever, the naan was perfect and oh my the wonderful smell. I will definitely do a bigger order for take out soon.

My mother and I love this restaurant. We usually order off the menu but the lunch buffet is good too is you're really hungry. Our favorite dishes are butter chicken, chana masala, and garlic naan. The service is wonderful and all the employees are very friendly. They even give us the choice between spicy or mild. I've always wanted to try the spicy but my mother is too afraid, lol! So we normally get mild...which is still pretty spicy...for us. Our favorite lunches are when they are playing Bollywood music videos on the TV's in the restaurant. That's always really fun for us and culturally enriching!

I stopped here enroute to my final destination which is abt 2hrs away. I am not into reviews but this place needs to be recognized for it’s awesome food. Never had such delicious food Indian food in the last 3 years. Nilgiris chana and semiya payasam was my favorite. Don’t forget to try them. I am willing to drive 2hrs very often to come back and eat at this place.

The food is delicious. We ordered 5 varieties from the menu and surprisingly all the items are very good. The service is also very quick. If you are around this area, you should try it out.

Best India food - value for the money.
Very few items but really very tasty.
Idli & Vada with Groundnut chutney is my favorite.
Chicken curry with Rice & Samabar is also very good.
*** Preferable if you are not looking for more varieties & food like home. ***
*** Most importantly - food is very FRESH unlike the other restaurants who charge more to serve day old food.
