Lake Monroe Wayside Park

Perfect spot to launch your boat. Ample parking and several ramps and docks. Convenient location near the highway, but still a somewhat serene and beautiful spot. Two picnic pavillions. Historic marker description of former bridge.

It was a nice bike ride they have a way to get to Deltona pretty fast I was going to try to go to the jetty's but it got to late and I would up going to a church so I didn't get to try to make it all the way there that's something I would have to do in the day time and I need to get a little trailer on the back of my bike so when it dies I can pull over and charge it I think it would take about two days to get there or a little less than that but 1 day I will have something that's going to get me there on my days off from the clinic

Rode across the St Johns on the recently constructed trail that links Volusia and Seminole counties here. The swing bridge that used to carry 17-92 traffic is set up as a pier here, and there is some interesting history to read about. The trail continues south around the lake to Downtown Sanford.

This is most often used as a boat launch location. But you can get some great views from the old bridge too. There tends to be lots of bugs hanging out in the northeast corner of the parking lot so if you're sensitive to bugs make sure you park in the grass on the west side.

P.S. this isn't the best spot for fishing

We stop here to grab the pokestops and battle the poke gyms, and fish sometimes. Very clean and kid friendly

Took oldest fishing 1st time to teach. He Loved it. Had a dock walkway to keep away from gator 🐊 worries. Nice bathrooms, playground area for my youngest. Nice place. He insisted we go again. Glad to get him outside more.

This park is great for fishing, launching boats into the river, and taking pictures. There's great views each way from the pier. They also have a covered area with park benches.

Beautiful day in the water...The ramp was busy allot of people had the same idea.
