I highly recommend Southern Standard Roofing. We contacted Southern Standard regarding a leak in our roof. Andrew with Southern Standard was at our house within 24 hours. He completed the inspection and reached out to our insurance company on our behalf and met with the adjuster. The initial adjuster denied the claim but Andrew didn’t give up and requested another inspection. He was diligent, extremely knowledgeable, responsive, always on time and able to get our roof replaced. Andrew made this process so much easier for us. Customer Service at this level is hard to find anymore. It was a great experience!

I called Southern Standard after getting a recommendation for Alton's services from someone who had used him when he was with another company. They gave me a great deal on my new roof and were very upfront with me about it not qualifying for insurance as I have not live in the house very long. I am very happy with all the fixes they made to my roof and the information they gave me about what still needs to be done but was not able to be done during the roof installation. They were early to the the time they had promised me and finished early in the day as well. Would definitely recommend.

I had a tree branch fall and damage my roof. A friend recommended Andrew. I sent a few photos and he was able to come out and fix the damage that afternoon. Andrew was super professional and efficient and quickly and effectively repair the issue. The speed and responsiveness was much appreciated. Jay at Standard took the time to explain everything. He was professional and responsive to all my many questions. He provided top notch customer service. The day of installation the crew and supervisor came early and did a great job. They cleaned up everything-no nails left in the driveway!!! They were all courteous and friendly. I recommend Southern Standard and would use them again.

Southern Standard Roofing went above and beyond for our roof repair and making sure our roof was replaced. My insurance company was giving us a hard time throughout the process but Sean and Alton did not shy away like other roofing companies. They put people before profit and invested more time and effort into making sure we were taken care of! I have praised their efforts and customer service since the moment I met with Sean. I very much appreciate that a company will go above and beyond and treat you like you were family and make sure you are taken care of. I can’t recommend Alton and his crew enough! He handled all the details of my roof replacement several months ago from inspection, working with the claims adjuster from my insurance to the little details like triple checking to make sure all the roofing nails were up after the job was completed. Alton is the actual best! I had never made an insurance claim on my house before and he walked me through the entire process making it completely painless. And he was by far the most patient and accessible contractor I have ever worked with. The roof was completed in a day and is absolutely gorgeous! Andrew initiated the contact with the insurance company, made himself available on the inspection of the roof by the insurance company and coordinated the entire workflow. From beginning to end, Andrew took care of the process and the work itself was superior.

Andrew was very helpful throughout the whole project. Initially, a third party company sent out by our insurance company did not see the damage that both Southern Standard and another roofing company saw, which would cause our claim to be denied. Andrew came out a second time when the actual insurance representative came to see the roof and walked it with him to pinpoint areas of damage. He made working with the insurance processes so much easier. The removal of the old roof and the install was completed in one day and the site was completely cleaned by their team. The customer service was awesome throughout the whole process.

Andrew is the best. He has assisted my mother-in-law and 2 homes that my wife and I own. He did all the communicating with the insurance Companies and his knowledge about roofs help convince one insurance Company to pay for an entire roof instead of a partial. It was a long over do responsibility that needed to be done with our roof. My mom & I have been trying to find the most honest, clear, & best deal for months. We didn’t feel comfortable with a few inspectors that had already came out...Till we were looking on Facebook and came across Southern Standard Roofing & Exteriors. We called as soon as possible; Alton came out and was very friendly, clear, thorough, & honest. We felt comfortable & confident with him & his company coming out to do the work. They started early, and finished very quickly. My mom & I couldn’t believe how quickly it was done! & the after photos? What a difference a new clean roof can make!!! As a fellow roofing company owner in another state, I wanted to make sure my family in Georgia were taken care of with the same knowledge, quality, and integrity that we provide. With Alton and Southern Standard, this was absolutely the case! He showed up right away, completed his assessment, documenting and sharing his findings, and was honest about the fact that the roof was not in need of replacement or repair at this time. Many companies just tell customers to file a claim to see what happens. Alton looks out for the homeowner’s best interest first and foremost, and does not recommend filing a claim unless it is truly warranted. Thank you Alton!

Sean Lautzenhiser arrived promptly to replace two tabs of shingles on my roof for a fair price. He did the repairs and removed all debris. Also, he gave me advice for future shingle repairs and for roof replacement when the time comes for that. I'm satisfied with the entire service call.
