Essential Yoga Studio

I’m so glad I got to be a part of Tory’s prenatal and postpartum yoga classes. I was a novice and a bit anxious about attending but Tory has a kind and disarming personality that made feel at ease immediately. She quickly tuned into each of our individual goals and concerns and tailored the classes to our needs. She clearly understood the bodies of pregnant women and new moms that made it feel safe and encouraging.

I wish every pregnant mom out there had the opportunity to work with Tory. I truly believe she helped me have a healthier pregnancy, gave me confidence to embark on a natural birth, and helped my body and mind return after delivery.

Tory is a great teacher, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. I felt safe in her energy and guided by her experience. I love her light heartened energy and I also love that I could ask questions for support during pregnancy as its my firs pregnancy with a lot of unknowns so aside from how to modify my yoga practice, she gave me comfort in knowing I have a community to be with and practice with. Thank you for being you Tory!

Prenatal Yoga with Tory has been a vital part of my pregnancy journey. This is the perfect time to set aside and bond with baby, but also provide my body with the love it needs right now.

The Tuesday Flow class with Jen is Fantastic! It is a great class for all levels. Her instructions are very helpful so you can practice yoga your way to your ability. Plus she is fun, genuinely cares, and the music is great too. Highly recommend!!

This is my favorite Yoga Studio in Springfield and has been for 6 years! There's just something magical about the place. There's no mirrors, so there's an emphasis on really feeling how the alignment and poses feel good for you. The teachers are all incredible and the classes are full of a variety of all kinds of people, across all kinds of ages and all different levels of fitness. I've been to many studios but I'll always end up coming back to this one!

I love this place! I’t doesn’t matter what age, level of fitness or physical flexibility you have there is a class that is right for you. I especially enjoy doing the online classes when I don’t feel like getting out of the house. There are plenty of classes that work well with my schedule. Jess and Miranda are such a delight! All of the teachers make me feel welcomed anytime I attend a class.

I've been doing yoga for many years and after attending classes several different places in Springfield, I can confidently say that Essential Yoga is truly unique and well-rounded in their offerings. I left my first class with Shari feeling completely revitalized. Her flow energized my body, while the studio, music, and tone resonated with me on a much deeper level, leaving a long-standing impression. The mind-body connection was exactly what I was looking for. Even Shari's voice is soothing! Her experience is apparent in class, and it helps the focus to remain on turning within. I've also taken classes with Rod and Emery, both of which I would HIGHLY recommend. Rod's understanding of the mind, body and spirit really helps one to achieve the greatest benefits yoga has to offer. My experience at Essential Yoga, along with the wonderful connections I've made, has truly inspired me to deepen my practice and dedication to yoga as a way of life. This is a legit yoga studio.. I have been so disappointed in yoga over the last cpl years with terrible, blah instructors. I've been to 5 classes here and every one has been very thorough in instruction and helping find yourself in practice. I feel much more connected to my body and mind!

Great place to receive your weekly dose of yoga. Staff is experienced, talented and professional. I feel so relaxed and welcome there.

I attended the restorative and massage event they have quarterly. I really enjoyed it, everything was provided.

My experience with these souls has been such a profound blessing. I have missed them for a couple months but feel their light lifting me each and every day.

The only place I’ll practice yoga in Springfield. Great atmosphere! Great experience every time!
