A great hole in the wall place with amazing home cooked food and a great staff. I had the combo seafood platter and it was some of the best fried shrimp and fish I've ever had. Get the mac n cheese!

A local legendary eat spot for towns people that I been enjoying for almost 3 decades. Everything is fresh, cook to order and they give full portion pieces fried to perfection from their family recipe. Best chicken ever

I live down in Baton Rouge and passed by here with 2 freinds today. I was amazed with the quality and taste of the food. Best fried chicken I have ever had in my life!!!! The chicken has a really good seasoning. The jambalaya was out of this world and better than any jambalaya ive ever had. I wish this place was close to me id be coming all the time. Im not over exaggerating about anything ive typed this place has some of the best food ive ever tried.

Nice homely place owned by a warm-hearted Mr. Brown and his family. I love the crispy texture of the fish and the juicy savoriness of the homemade fried chicken. My family didn't let me taste the shrimp though, because they ate it too fast 😅. The potato salad is the kind with mustard and yummy relish, making it almost addictive and giving it a memorably distinctive flavor. Only downside to this visit was that the desserts weren't available and their classic Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine had finally broken and was down for the count. But regardless, Brown's Cafe is a deliciously timeless restaurant with a lot of history and a plenty of ❤

My boyfriend and I went to visit my cousin and her husband in Addis from Baton Rouge. They ordered dinner for us from Brown’s. I was not prepared for that deliciousness! The fried fish and Jambalaya was to die for. I’m very critical of Jambalaya because I grew up partially in Opelousas so I’ve learned to make authentic Jambalaya from scratch. Saying that I was pleased would be an understatement. My boyfriend and I haven’t stopped talking about this place since we had it. We will definitely be taking a ride there this weekend. This place is awesome. 😎

This place is awesome. The food is prepared when ordered and always fresh. I have been coming here for years and always have a pleasant experience each and every time. Truly a staple in the community.

Brown's cafe is pillow in eatery in community their an serving others I love going their because it reminds of the joint that up to Road from my grandmother's house we could go in there as children get us a little piece of candy watched some of the community guys play pool no one bothered the children everybody was happy laughing and talkin brown's remind me of the old days when we was younger you know a comfort zone that you can go to and you can relax and feel love that's what I love about Brown's Cafe it was established in 1951 in the name speaks for itself it's a good place to go eat you know due to the Covid restrictions you can't go in but you can go in their order your food but still it's a very very good place to grab hot homemade meal...

Great place. Good food, customer service. Been going there since I was 15 years old. The Shrimp Box, fried extra hard is my favorite. However, everything is great.

My Mom use to take us when I was younger..I decided to visit a week ago & O.M.G🙌🏾THEY ARE THE BEST IN LOUISIANA...HANDS DOWN❗No 1 even comes close. I decided to give this review because I wanted some more but their closed on Mondays😭❤❤❤

Amazing fried shrimp...unlike any other and they are open late. The wait is hefty, but they cook everything fresh, and because it is so good, they always have a huge line.

I love the food each and everytime I go there. I remember coming here as a child and I still come as an adult now. I will forever and always come to this place. They have the best of everything. I come here at least once a week.

This is a Black Own Restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. Customer Service is great and with a family atmosphere.
