Café Hollander Mequon

I like Cafe Holllander. It's got a nice selection of food/drink, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are typically helpful and efficient.
First time at this location. There were 5 of us for lunch. Our server did an amazing job (thanks Kayla). Gave us plenty of attention, but did not rush us. Always cheerful, and effient.
The food was excellent by everyone's account. The appetizers of bruschetta and brussel sprouts was perfectly done. Got a few different sandwiches and salads and everyone was happy with their selections.

The atmosphere of this place is awesome. I stopped here with a good friend and our boys for a bite to eat. The food and beer selection was outstanding. We ordered the cheese curds and the pretzel bites to start while we waited for a table. They were a big hit, the boys devoured it all. The food went about the same, everything was great! It was a kid friendly environment, we all had a great time.

Haven’t seen my friend in years and this was the perfect place to catch up. We had the best food and exceptional service. Our server, Marcus, went above and beyond to help us, never interrupted our conversation, and was very aware overal. I really appreciate exceptional service from people who care about our experience and want it to be a good one!

The food here is good but what really separates this place is the service. Our server Jess was wonderful and the manager Jake went above and beyond. It's not just an uncommon level of customer service but it's unheard of. If you're not satisfied for any reason, they will take care of you. Very impressed!

We came out to eat with a group of friends and were surprised to be celebrating the announcement of one of our friend’s pregnancy :) Monica was very sweet when she overheard, and made our brunch even more special and memorable. Extremely great service!

This was my first time ever eating at Cafe Hollander and I will definitely be coming back. The food was very good and was ready very fast even though they were a bit busy. The restaurant itself was really cool on the inside. Clean and comfortable. The best part of my experience was our server Marcus. I was in the mood for a cocktail and their menu had so many great sounding options, I just could not decide. I asked Marcus what he reccomended and he told me to try one that I was already considering. The Strawberry Kiwi Daiquiri. He told me it was probably coming off the menu soon and to try it now. Thanks to Marcus I got to enjoy one or the best cocktails I've had in a long time. 10/10 experience, but a 100/10 experience when served by Marcus.

We went to Cafe Hollander for brunch. I had the Fried Chicken and French Toast, my wife had the Brew City Benedict. Words cannot describe how AMAZING the food was. The fried chicken was stuff that dreams are made of! Everything was fresh and unbelievably delicious!
To top it all off Marcus was our server, and he was so kind, attentive, and wonderful. We watched an interaction he had with a kid at a different table where he knelt down to talk to him, which was heartwarming. He was spot on. Honestly one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere.

Great food... Fast, friendly, and helpful service... And the atmosphere was fun. Kid and family friendly. A large selection of items on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had no problems getting a table. You may have to park in the lot down the hill... but it isn't a bad walk. I highly recommend the Cafe Hollander in Mequon!

The igloo spaces were great to escape the cold and have some privacy from the rest of the restaurant. I’ve always loved this spot because of all the decor and the layout of everything. The lunch/dinner menu is always the best and I appreciate the regular menu changes, so you can try something new when you go.

A very nice interior layout with lots of natural sunlight to illuminate the place. The décor is creative and well maintained. Great atmosphere, very welcoming, clean, everything on their menu that I have had was amazing, and the service does not disappoint! Was seated upon entering with a pleasant staff. I will be retuning, keep up the good work!

Great food, variety of options for all preferences. Prepared in a timely manner with good presentation. Staff is always friendly and open to modifications on food or any extra needs. Environment is a touch loud, but it suits a large group for a fun night. Plenty of drink options for those who prefer craft beer, cocktail, or nonalcoholic options

Now I always feel guilty going to Cafe Hollander since I live just down the road in Glendale and need to leave the City and County to go there. But I can't stay away. The ambiance is so cozy, the food is always great, and the beer has such variety. Even during these times of staff shortages they always seem to have great service. It's little things like the Dutch that's played in the bathroom that just makes it fun and unique, not to mention the bicycle rack right off the bike trail. I had the beat and strawberry salad, my wife had the southwest salad with avocado, and my son had the barbecue burger, plus some soups and of course some pomfrets. I got to try all of it and everything was great.
Their Milwaukee location is great as well!

We don’t get here often, but in this area Cafe Hollander is an easy choice. Great food, great drinks, ambiance, great service.

Monica was great. Friendly service. In town for a basketball tournament and she was great serving a full table of ten. That’s hard work and she did great. Food was amazing and served very quickly. Highly recommend!

Great service!!!! Very attentive, not over bearing. Beet salad was perfect!! Grilled chicken on top was a great add. Bloody Mary was spicy!! Nice menu 😁

Our meals are consistently delicious, as are the bloody Mary's! They also have a great selection of Gluten-free options making it a good choice for our family. We'll be back!

We've been going to Cafe Hollander for years... Highly recommend! Everything is always really good and flavorful.

Our favorites: Sconie Burger, Tomato Basil Pasta, Double Smashed Veggie Burger (substitute regular burger), Bacon Avocado Chicken Wrap.

A Must Get: Sweet potato fries with basil aoli sauce... Amazing every time!

We’ve been here before so of course we would go back. It was just that good. Open air restaurant with inside and outside dining. Never disappointed. Great service, food, clean environment and a just a pleasant experience all around. Many families here too. Very affordable prices and an excellent wine and beer selection. A Lone Birch Riesling (floral, peach and pear) and a hot cocoa with whip completed our brunch. We’ll be back.

Fantastic food and coffee. Service was the BEST! Monica answered all our questions, gave great recommendations, and kept the coffee topped off!!

Always great food and service at this location. Highly suggest the pretzel bites and one of their many beer selections!
