New Happy Garden Restaurant

It was my son’s first time ever eating Chinese and he absolutely loved it. The food was amazing. The service was great and it was Affordable! Will definitely be going back.

Great food and loved the fact they would sing my son a Happy Birthday.

On this particular day they had fried chicken liver available. It was some of the best I've had in a long time. Love this place. Staff is extremely friendly and prices are very responsible.

I'm just saying that we love asian buffets and this one made me happy. Sushi selection was small but fresh. The rest of the food was tasty and the service was great. The waiter was funny and made me giggle. We will be back!

One of my favorite local Asian restaurants. Always great food, occasionally something may slip a little but that can happen at any restaurant. Great service as well. Recently my family ordered takeout. When I got home I discovered they had left out my son-in-law's food. I called them and they told me to come back. When I got there they gave me a freshly made batch of his dish.

I've seen other reviewers complain about the owners not being friendly. To them I say, people from other cultures don't always have the same societal norms we have in the US. Try to think about that when dealing with someone from another country. You may go to their country and come off just as rude, even though you're acting the same way as always.

We got takeout here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The website is really well done and easy to navigate and the food was all delicious and very fresh. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, which we found out are house made daily; they are peppery and well balanced! We also noticed that a couple of classic items had a different house touch/ flavor to them. We will be back!

We showed up 20 minutes before closing and they were super nice and the food was still good and fresh even that close to closing. Before they closed the buffet they asked if we wanted more food and told us to put the food we wanted on the plates and we could take it in boxes when we were done. Butter shrimp was delicious, I'm not a fan of Asian cuisine but this is one place that I'll be back to. Great food great staff and reasonably priced.

I've been eating at New Happy Garden since before they moved from the shopping center that Tractor Supply now occupies. They've always had amazing food, and have been amazing people. Always friendly, and they even remember me after I've been out of state for five years! I drive from Hendersonville to Waynesville just to eat here.

First time visiting Waynesville, as always, we love a classic China buffet. As a person who has visited close to a dozen China buffets, this buffet reaches the supreme tier for their excellent customer service. Our server was very kind and came up to us to chat, he said he recognizes his regulars and wanted to know where we were from. Even with a small conversation, I can see that this server prides in getting to know his customers, as well as going above and beyond to get us everything we need. Our cup was never empty. I would also recommend the Oyster Chicken, which is the first time I have seen it in a buffet, very juicy and a flavor like no other. Excellent staff, A+ customer service, and a great selection of food.

Traveling. Read the reviews and was apprehensive but we tried it anyway. Found the staff to be super. Food tasted great but could have been hotter. I have to reiterate tasted good. I really really enjoyed it to the point of being uncomfortably stuffed but wanting more. For my bride of 49 years and I it was five stArs.

Another place I like because they monitor The buffet for proper etiquette. I saw patrons grab 3-4 plates on one trip and eat half of it. The manager asked them to leave and not come back since they were being so wasteful. I mean it's a buffet, one plate at a time and go for more when you're done. It's not rocket science.

A great place to go to relax! Very roomy dining area with an amazing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and make sure that yours needs are met for a wonderful dining experience. Oh and did I mention their food is fabulous 👌

I really liked this place. Honestly, the food was alright. But the service was outstanding. The guy who runs it is the nicest man you’ll meet and really cared about how we enjoyed our time there. I saw him talk to another family as he was helping them out and he had memorized what they all get to drink! What a guy.

The selection here is AMAZING. Definitely so much better compared to where I come from, San Antonio. The decorations around the restaurant make it feel very warm, welcoming, and comforting! I feel like I gained 5 years of luck just walking through the entrance.

Good food, fair price

We eat at New Happy Garden buffet all the time! The staff is so friendly, they are so nice to my kids and make them chop sticks. They have our drinks ready as we make it to the booth! Great people, great fresh food & very clean!
