We arrived at the restaurant and were told that it was would be about a 45-50 minute wait as they were down a server. We were invited to sit at the bar while we waited. The bartender service was top notch. We were welcomed to go ahead and place our food order by the bartender who was attentive and efficient. We were soon devouring amazing dishes. I had the penne and broccoli with grilled chicken. It was really good! My girlfriends had the lasagna and a pizza. They agreed that the food was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect. The atmosphere was pleasant with a piano player in the background. The ambiance supported a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience! We can’t wait to go back and try different dishes! Especially the desserts!

Excellent, I've been to Maggy valley hundreds of times and never had been there till last Saturday. Some of the best Italian I've ever had. I will be going back very soon.

We arrived just after being married. The food was great and the service even better. They even surprised us with a dessert for our special day. The atmosphere is nice with no trying to talk over loud music.

Even on a night that was packed and only two servers had the whole back of the restaurant, service was great. Despite having multiple parties ranging from 5 to 9 the servers had smiles on their face and got our food and drinks to us. Super friendly service and the food was so good! They even give a celebration cannoli which is so tasty! Definitely come check out this hot spot in Maggie! You won’t be disappointed.

The place is hands down the best Italian I have ever had in my life. My boyfriend and I are passing through and stopped here since our friends recommended. It didn’t disappoint. Seated quickly, drinks and bread came out fast. Cocktails are good. The flatbread appetizer was perfect. Our mains came out quicker than expected and oh my gosh. Spotlight goes to the cup of minestrone soup. Food wise 100/100. Service was just as good this place is the spot! For sure coming back. Our bill, which we thought would be well over 100, was 80.

My bf and I went there after skiing last Friday. The hostess and servers were so nice and friendly. He had the spicy shrimp and I had the Eggplant Marinara. Both were amazing and we had the Bruschetta as an appetizer which was huge!

A fabulous find in Maggie Valley! Would not expect such incredible Italian food in a small town like this, but Frankie’s does it right! They were very understaffed for a Saturday at lunch time so things took a while, but they did warn us of that and we weren’t in a hurry. The food, the wine, and the bread were fantastic! It made it worth the wait. I had the seafood pasta and it was just like it would be in Italy. Mom had the lasagna and dad had a pizza, both of Which were delicious! I don’t think you can go wrong at Frankie’s! Plenty of parking and a little store with some gifts and food items to check out! Will be back!

Tonights dinner was nice. We started with a cocktail at the bar while waiting for our reservation. There is a young staff that works hard, but it is understaffed. It was nice to see the teamwork from the host / manager / lady of all trades. She stepped in to help all over.

Our server, Mckenzie, was very nice and accommodating. We ordered wings, pasta fagioli, Rustica Pizza, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken.

I eat at Frankie’s on a regular basis. They have a wide range of dishes I enjoy, including an excellent thin pizza. The wine list is very good and reasonably priced. As a local, I eat at the bar which is faster and Abby the bartender is excellent. Overall nicer and better than your typical local Italian place at reasonable prices.,

Have eaten there on several trips to the Smoky Mountains and was excited to return on this trip. They were hosting a large group seated next to us, thus the atmosphere was not as good this time, but the food more than made up for it! Had lasagne, a signature dish, and it was wonderful and large enough for two meals. Cute little gift store and wine shop attached to the restaurant that was fun to browse in after dinner. Highly recommend!!

Best restaurant this year (I'm in top 10% of Google Map restaurant reviewers in the world)! Yes I'm partial to Italian food.

I started with my favorite drink, toasted almond (kahlua, cream and amaretto). Many restaurants never heard of this, but Frankie's has it featured as a specialty drink.

A rare find for me, they had a dish with eggplant, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, marinara. It came with a side of pasta with choice of pasta fajioli or minestrone soup. All excellent and preferred pasta fajioli over minestrone. The complimentary bread loaf was fresh baked sour dough- my favorite bread ever.

For dessert, home made key lime pie was delicious and on par with my previous favorite from the Florida Keys. My husband's chocolate cake was very good. Service by Abby was top notch. Atmosphere was calm, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed a nice mountain View sitting window side in the bar where the wine room was located.

Total surprise = pet friendly patio yet we left our dog home. Next time... We tasted the truffles in their adjacent fresh market before leaving. Open 2-9pm, we didn't arrive until 3pm because voice message or website wasn't yet updated from 3 to 2pm.

We got so much food, we have enough leftovers for at least 1 more meal each. My husband's veal parmesan tasted good but was over-shadowed by my amazing Eggplant Sicialano.

Best meal ever for me and all of this totalled $67, with drinks and dessert I was expecting over $100. So I considered this anniversary dinner very affordable. I asked if there was a menu with higher prices for evenings and there was not. We highly recommend Frankie's in Maggie Valley!

Great homemade Italian food. Clam appetizer was amazing. Wine selection went well with the menu. Homemade soup was very authentic. Would recommend making a reservation here. Very good.

Went here simply because one of few restaurants open on a Monday while vacationing in Maggie Valley. WOW! If you are a foodie and want Italian look no further. Everything from drinks to apps to entrees was phenomenal. Atmosphere is charming and such a surprise to have a piano player too. We would eat here weekly if lived here. Only disappointment was Ricotta cheesecake which looked great but not a cream cheese version so more of dry cake.

While visiting Maggie valley for our anniversary we stopped in here. The food was very good and filling. I ordered the chicken parmesan and my husband got the manicotti. Our waitress was wonderful. She always had a smile and answers to our many questions. Over all a very pleasant experience.

Love Frankies. Great pasta dishes and excellent salads. Huge selection of tasty wines. You can purchase wine next-door if you find one you like. Will definitely be coming back frequently.
Make sure you have a reservation if you are coming for dinner.

I had a fantastic experience with the Abbi at the bar. Her attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were impressive. She made great recommendations. Her friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of my evening. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch bar experience.
