The seafood boil was so good and a great price for Sunday 23.99. Great hospitality and a Pleasant atmosphere. They were very friendly, and it was my first time eating there. I’m from South Carolina and every trip there I’ll be going there to eat with my boyfriend.

We decided to try this place tonight and I have to say it was very good. There were only two people working and they did a good job of getting our food out quickly. The server was very nice and friendly and checked on us several times. I got the Jumbo shrimp plate with fries and slaw and my husband got the fried flounder plate with fries and slaw. We both enjoyed our meals. The hush puppies are really good as well.

Was in town visiting friends and we stopped in for some seafood. Everything was absolutely amazing! The seafood boil was one of the best I have ever had and the homemade sauces were delicious. The family that runs it are very nice and welcoming. Great food and great owners!

Food was amazing and service was excellent!! We were on our way home to Tennessee and decided to stop for seafood, it was well worth it and will definitely be back the next time we’re in North Carolina!

I’ve been back twice since it’s been under new management and each time everything was very flavorful. Fried, Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Catfish, all was delicious. Definitely will be going back sooner than later.

I would highly recommend Ocean Bay Seafood! They are under new management so don't let old reviews discourage you from trying them. We tried a little bit of everything and oh my it was delicious! We had the fried oysters, chicken wings, fried okra, crab ragoon, fries, and of course the seafood boiled. I can't decide wich one was my favorite. Everything was so fresh and I am obsessed with the home made sauces which make this place stand out from other similar seafood reataurants. The owners are awesome and welcoming. My picture don't do it justice, I wish I would've taken better pictures.

Firstly, I eat at this fine establishment at least four times a week. I always call ahead so that it will be ready when I arrive. I typically get the grilled catfish along with the garlic butter boiled eggs, and garlic butter corn. It is always cooked to perfection. I would also recommend the salmon and wontons - the best in Kinston. The salmon was not offered on the menu nor was the shrimp chips (an appetizer) and they went above and beyond to add it to the menu. I wanted to purchase gift cards and they did not offer that either, and, to my surprise, a presto, they offered that as well. Talk about customer service!! The owners/staff are a breath of fresh air. They are congenial and genuine, and they always take the time to ask me how I am doing that day. My family supports this business as well and they even ask about them if they have not seen them in a while. With that, I highly recommend Ocean Bay Seafood for their stellar food, superb customer service and an all-around great establishment. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best seafood restaurant in Kinston, and it's truly a hidden gem in the area. The batter they use is light, crispy with a crunch, and delightfully delicious.

Family owned and operated by a loving family that clearly cares about the quality of the food. Give them a chance, and you will be hooked! Will definitely come again, thanks, Sandy!

The new owners have really turn this place around since early August. The food are cooked fresh to order and their sauces are extremely flavorful. The staff are extremely friendly.

Food for the soul! Tried this place with my family while visiting for Christmas. We had the Low Country Boil, deep fried catfish, sautéed shrimp and the deep fried flounder. We were blown away! No words were spoken during this meal (we were too busy eating). This is a family owned restaurant and we were cared for like we were family. Salt of the earth kind of people. Definitely coming back when we visit Kinston, NC in the future.

The food was excellent. The service was even better!!! Our waitress was helpful, kind and polite. My momma and I really enjoyed our meal.

Found this place by accident and am pleasantly surprised! The service was fast and friendly. The food can out hot and fast. Best of all it is delicious!

The food is great. The seafood is fresh the atmosphere is laid back and the staff is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone in the Kinston area.

We just moved here and my in-laws wanted seafood so we came here. Everything was delicious! I’m not a huge seafood lover so I got the steak and cheese and it was great. Will be back!

I had a snow crab and shrimp boil today! And it was delicious!! I got the house sauce which is all the flavors mixed together..and the owner said she wanted me to try the sauce she called yum yum which was the sauce that everyone is using now oh my gosh it was sooo good! So next time I will definitely be getting yum yum sauce! Y'all they have a special right now for $19.99 until the end of the month!! Y'all better get y'all some! It was good 10 out of 10

Great place. Everything is made fresh to order, you may need to wait a few minutes but it’s so worth it.

My very first time here I got the combo 4 which comes with 2 lb of snow crab legs 1 lb of shrimp one pound of mussels and one pound of crawfish I also got hushpuppies extra corn I definitely recommend this place very good seasoning was okay I would add a little bit more garlic to it but it was still really really good

The food is so good! The flavor is outstanding, presentation is great and it was such good quality. We got soo much food and the price was unbelievable a lot of bang for your buck! The girl upfront was so friendly and worked so hard the whole time we were there, the man in the back cooking was slaying it up! I wish I had taken a pic but once she sat it down it was go time. We will be back and we absolutely recommend it!
