Haywood Ace Hardware

These guys and gals at this Ace are always attentive to customers in need of help, unlike the larger hardware stores. This is especially important when you're in a hurry and cannot walk around looking for help. They were able to assist me with a plumbing issue on my last visit. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to visit this Ace store!

I needed racing fuel for an engine that doesn't like pump gasoline. Found this location through The Sunoco race fuel finder. They even had extra race fuel containers , so I bought two. I really appreciate the customer service and someone making sure that people who need something specialized like this can find it locally.

This is a hard one to rate. I gave it five stars because the store is very clean and the sales staff is very knowledgeable and they're very friendly. But it's a small store and they don't seem to carry the merchandise like you can get at Lowe's or home Depot. Also their prices are not competitive with the big chain stores. But if you need something in a hurry and it's something that they have it's a good store to go to. Again, very friendly staff very clean store nice atmosphere.

Very friendly and best price propane refills but will check for tank expiration. They will recertify your tank for you. They also make sure your tank is really full whereas Blue Rhino only fills about 75%! Very friendly too!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. I had lost my Senior Citizen Lifetime Hunting/Fishing License. They retrieved the number, printed a replacement license and sent me out the door ready for the year ahead. Oh, by the way, it's a very complete hardware, too.

So nice to go to a real hardware store where you are greeted at the door and asked how they can help you. When I said what I wanted the very courteous employee actually went to get the item for me. I've been using this as my go to hardware store for about 2 years. Really love it. Helpful staff. It is small but I seem to always find what I need.
