Thank you so much for saving the day with both excellent food and even better service. It is well worth the stop and time to enjoy a positive experience to which Taste of Jerusalem delivers! I am now much more energized to pass the positive feeling on to the clients I manage today. This is all due to the appreciation that comes by local restaurants who understand how to properly manage and treat people with consideration. You understand how to meet today's needs for a better quality experience. Cheers!!

Wow, this place is good and the prices are right. The falafel is the best I've ever had. Crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. The bread is soft and warm when served and the hummus is simple, the way it should be. I had the gyro with fries, and i didn't even touch the fries even though i thought those would be the first thing i would go for since I'm not much of an ethnic food person. I definitely want to come back to try one of the platters. The owner is very nice and the service in general was great. I'm telling ya, come try this place!

Tried their lunch and brunch — loved both! We ate so much at brunch (hummus, foul, baba gannoush, shakshuka) without feeling gross afterwards. Tried the gyro, kofta, and chicken shawarma at lunch and everyone loved their sandwiches. Fries were also super tasty and fresh with a nice spice mixture!!
Also - the decor is wonderful, love the vibe.

The best Mediterranean flavours, I definitely recommend Calderita and Paella. I will get back to try more recipes.

I’ve dined here 3 times so far and each time I’m blown away. The food is remarkable and the staff are very friendly! Our waiter made an excellent recommendation and it was as yummy as he said. Also, they have the best grape leaves I’ve ever had (I’ve eaten at a lot of middle eastern places in Dearborn ((largest middle eastern pop. in the US)) and home cooked) and they are by FAR the best. You really can’t go wrong with anything you choose here. The prices and portions are excellent as well. The food is authentic and cooked fresh. They are easily the best middle eastern food I’ve had in the triangle area! Maybe the best I’ve had in general. I have missed living up north for the excellent food I was able to get, but now I’ve found a place!

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here on the second day after their opening. Every dish was superb! I had tabbouleh and the Mediterranean appetizer plate. We loved the Morroco tea, fries, and bread. Service and decor was great. We will definitely be back.

I ate dinner here with my family. The atmosphere is very nice and food was delicious and very well cooked. The server although not very knowledgeable about the cuisine was very helpful and tried too find all the information for us. Paella was excellent. So was lamb tajin and cocktails. Altogether a wonderful experience

Fantastic service!
I ordered the Moroccan tea pot and it came out perfect. For my appetizer I ordered kofta grape leaves and for my main dish I ordered the Lamb Tajin. It tastes so authentic! Picasso Art is so good for vegetarians too. I’m excited to come see the lunch menu and prices.

Very good food. We had the chicken Shawarma and Gyro with fries with a Fatoosh salad on the side. Service was pretty unbelievable. As soon as we finished a plate or got to the bottom of a glass, they were there to take care of it. Price was very reasonable! Would eat here again and it looked like they could take a LOT more customers during lunch!

Just finished a wonderful meal and am enjoying the tea. This place is a gem in a shopping plaza full of gems.

What a wonderful spot for lunch! The food is delicious! We had the Jerusalem platter, which is full of meats. Lamb, kabob, chicken. All incredible, tasty, and more than enough for the three of us. We also had the hummus which was smooth and creamy. The falafel was perfect. I would not recommend the Arabic coffee. It tasted basically right but came from a carafe and was lukewarm. (My quest for real Turkish Coffee continues). The highlight of the meal was dessert. Baklava. It was rolled up, like a little cigar. And the best tasting, sweetest, lightest version I've ever had! Be sure to get an order, this is something you don't want to miss out on!

My husband and I just ate here Friday night and we both loved what we ordered! I had the star plate which was lamb and plumbs. It was to die for. My husband had the seafood calderetta which was soooo much food and super delicious. We both took home a full box of leftovers and the prices were good. We got to talk with the owner. She was super kind and it was great to hear all about the food! We will be back for sure!!

Saw that they offered a buffet on Saturdays and decided to try it out. Very friendly staff and very clean and comfortable dining area.

They had a small selection for the buffet, but the food was delicious. Every dish was high quality and healthy. I highly recommend you try this place out.

We went for dinner and the menu said it was Moroccan and Spanish themed. We had a delicious lentil soup to begin, a chicken and a lamb entree between the two of us, and Moroccan tea. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. Great food!

My family eats strictly halal, so we are always looking for good halal restaurants. Since we are not from the Raleigh area, it is harder for us to find good places. Even though there was not a lot off staff, the service was amazing. He kept asking if we needed anything and answered all our questions about the Moroccan cuisine. Yes, the food took time to prepare, but it was because it was REALLY good food. We got the platter, the taiben, and the pollo and it was all amazing. Also, we got all the drink, since they were non alcoholic and the mojito was the best. The person who cooked definitely knew a lot about flavor and the art of cooking. I would recommend this to anyone in the area because the food and flavor was amazing and the restaurant was really clean. Overall, a very amazing experience.

Update: Due to the Covid crisis, the tables are 8-10 feet apart and there is ample seating outside. The place is very clean and the desserts are out-of-this-world! The menu is also yummy but simpler and the service really fast...if you want takeout. Also, there is a free wifi and a new breakfast menu. It’s a great place to meet up with friends for coffee or a meal because you can have space and not share germs!!!

This place has a bit of an identity crisis (more Andalucian food than Middle Eastern!) but the food is worth the wait. Tagines are the most authentic the Triangle has seen in at least 10 years. Moroccan salads are also authentic and delicious. Really - everything is good and fresh and worth a try. Even the virgin cocktails are kind of fun and innovative. Be prepared for a long wait and mediocre service but the food is well worth it.

Excellent food and the owners are incredibly genuine. They are always trying their best to make sure the food is up to high standards. Wife and I have come here twice and have not been disappointed. Their Ramadan Iftar is also delicious! Great ambience and selection of food. It's a must try!

I had the curry special when I went, and it was much better than I expected. At first, I didn't think it would fill me up, but I was completely content afterwards. The overall meal felt extremely healthy, and hearty yet flavorful. I hope to go again.

I am here now having lunch. I have to say this is the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurant in all the Triangle area. I have been to Jerusalem and this brings back memories. I have eaten at the chain restaurants and this place far surpasses all of them in Raleigh. Wow. The food is homemade, fresh, reasonable and authentic. I will return often!
