Food Lion

I absolutely love this particular Food Lion! It’s always clean, spacious, well stocked and the employees are so much nicer than all the others I’ve ever been to.

The gentleman manager there treated my son and I extremely well there. It was a rewarding experience.

This location...be careful of the weird way of getting in and out. The only grocery store on the way home that is easy to shop. Short aisles, good selection, a smaller food lion that's super easy to get what you want/need. Great staff. Clean and fast cashiers get you out the door quickly. Fresh produce, etc. No drama with this food lion. I don't go to HT since food lion is better, better staffing and better beer service.

Good selection, good prices. If you want Starbucks go somewhere else. If you want friendly no frills service and good store brands, this is perfect. I used to shop Kroger, but when they closed, this is where I went to find a new grocery store. Not crowded, nice parking lot. Would recommend.

First time at this location. The first thing my wife and I noticed was a the man at the register smiling to a customer. He did the same with us, what a nice gentleman. To us is not only the quality of the food, but how courteous associates are. A happy guy making people happy. His name "Don". Tell him congrats for his valued character traits.

1/30/2021 Shopped the day before the snow/ice storm. The store was full. But I am so impressed with the Management and Employees at this Food Lion. The store is always well Staffed and shelves are always full "Even with a Winter Storm Approaching"!

It's a little out of the way for me (I pass a couple of other grocery stores to get here), but I still think it's worth it. The prices are better, there isn't a crowd, and I can always find good prices on brands I buy. (But their craft beer selection is a little modest.)

Always clean, friendly check out staff. Well stocked.

Awesome staff (Rick is the best Grocery Manager I have ever met! He has moved mountains to carry exactly what I have been looking for on multiple occasions) and with the membership card prices are competitive.

This little Food Lion on Maynard Road particularly stands out because of Don, the cashier. He sparkles as he is always smiling and is always so friendly to the customers! He is a true gentleman in every way!

The staff is friendly and the shelves are well stocked. The produce is pretty good too.

We love shopping at Food Lion! My 1.5 year old son especially loves riding in the race car shopping carts!

I like that they dont allow pets in the store. So far ive witnessed at two different food lions customer's trying to bring their dogs in a grocery store.
I love animals but i DO NOT WANT PET DANDUR OR HAIR THAT FALLS UNBEKNOWNST TO THE HUMAN EYE FALLING ANYWHERE NEAR OR ON TOP OF MY PURCHASES OR I WILL STOPN GOING.
BUT THE MANAGEMENT HAS REDIRECTED THE CUSTOMER EVERY TIME!
